It is scary to think what the Saints' rushing attack would do to NE. I think there a couple NFC teams better than the Pats. NE just has a weaker schedule.

If Miles is the choice, UT will have to make sure he brings a good OC. LSU really struggled on offense at the end of his tenure at LSU. Their offense was like a 1980s offense.

FWIW, the BCS would have also put Bama at 4 and OSU at 5. I always root against Bama, but looking at this objectively, I think the committee picked the 4 best teams. This year, two are in the SEC.

They are about to reveal the #4 team. I don't like either, but I would vote for Bama. One loss against Auburn on the road. If they played them at home, they would probably be 13-0. OSU has some better wins, but I have no doubt Bama would beat Wisconsin and PSU. They also lost to Iowa by 31 (which I know no Saban-coached team would ever do). That said, I have a hunch they will select OSU. I would favor Clemson against either team in the playoffs. Clemson probably beats OSU by 2 TDs.

You may be right. Chargers certainly playing better football right now. The Chiefs schedule isn't that hard though, so they may hold on.
