  1. Really worried the Bills will blow this lead like the 24-9 lead last year against the Raiders. Had a chance to put them away and didn't.
  2. Bills were up 24-9 last year. Raiders then scored 29 unanswered. Let's not see a repeat performance, please.
  3. Good half. D playing well given injuries in secondary. Offense also moving the ball, could have scored more points if not for penalties.
  4. Awesome!! The Bills have a lot of weaknesses, but we are ELITE in turnover margin which makes a huge difference!
  5. I think we should run McCoy more against this weak defense. Before this drive, 14 passes, only 6 carries for Shady. Don't like that.
  6. Carr hasn't looked that great. Just need to watch the deep balls.
  7. Going to need turnovers to win. That is the reason we are 4-2....turnover margin
  8. That penalty is equivalent to a red zone turnover. Just awful!!
  9. One thing to consider about the defense, we're playing better offenses now (weaker defenses too). Thus, defense appears to be regressing and offense looks to be improving.
  10. This team is just too thin at secondary and at receiver to be a playoff team, I'm afraid. If I'm being honest, we are pretty fortunate to be 4-2.
  11. Derek Carr is 0-5 in games under 50 degrees. Let's hope that continues!!!
  12. There is no doubt that, with the current injuries, the Bills probably have the worst receiving corps in the league, and one of the worst even with Clay and Matthews. However, I am not ready to give up on the running game yet, or even the offense as a whole. Look at the opponent yards per play rankings: https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/opponent-yards-per-play?date=2017-10-09 The Bills have played the #1, 2, 4, and 6 ranked defenses, and the offense looked pretty good against #18. We have games remaining on the schedule against #26, 27, 28, 30, 31, and 32 x 2.
  13. All of those QBs, with the exception of Dak, were drafted much higher than Peterman. QBs drafted around where Peterman was include: Mettenberger, Yates, Connor Cook, Bryce Petty, Landry Jones, I could go on and on. All of those guys started games fairly soon after being drafted, and none of them "performed fine". Tyrod is about as good as you can expect from a QB in the 4th-6th round range.
  14. You're right, it is worse. Last year, we were not only first in yards, but first in yards per rush with 5.3. This year we are 27th in the league with 3.4 yards per rush. I do think the Shotgun style of running we had with Lynn really maximized McCoy's and Tyrod's running abilities. Having Gilislee didn't hurt either. We have played some of the higher ranked rush defenses, but there is no doubt that this running game is a far cry from what the Bills had in 15 and 16.
  15. Bengals are one dimensional right now, and pass rush is improving because of it
  16. Dodged a bullet!! This feels like the Packers game in 2014. Dropped passes, turnovers, keeping us in the game, but offense not capitalizing
  17. Big Ben is lowkey washed, basically like Eli manning now
