And now he got his son Owen a job board opping and answering phones on the morning show. #nepotism
Oh God, not another generation of mediocrity.

1987 week 2 at home against Houston. Last game before the strike. 21 4th quarter points with a short pass from Kelly to Harmon very late in the game to win it. Fun, rowdy crowd. That was the first time I thought to myself that we may have something good here.

Unfortunately, no broadcasting company would spend the money to create a competitive alternative to WGR. Yes there are 2 other satellite-fed, all-national networks sports AM's in Buffalo. No one cares. To take on WGR directly would require such a massive investment and most broadcasting companies are on the verge of bankruptcy these days. Which is not to say WGR couldn't be taken on. I think they are vulnerable to a decent local sports alternative. What has to happen is I need to win the Powerball.
Yeah I get it. I am wondering if it's possible for the rights to go to a station that isn't necessarily sports. Ala 97 Rock years ago

There is more intelligent football conversation in a TBD nickname thread than there is on any WGR show. All of those hosts, especially Jeremy and Joe, display below average football intelligence. I have no problem with Beane calling them out even though I’d prefer he had taken a higher road. His best line was reminding them they wanted Josh Rosen over Josh Allen, that was laugh out loud funny. Buffalo sports media is pure amateur hour. You get a ton better intelligent content from the many podcasters that cover the Bills, but I guess that’s part of the radio schtick.
As for Coleman, JFC give the guy a chance. No one on here saw the emergence of Bernard after we let Edmunds walk. This place was apoplectic after the draft when we didn’t snag a MLB early. We draft for character. I expect Coleman heard when Beane called him out after he played like crap post injury. It’s a maturity thing. I expect we will see a much better Coleman this season but idk if that will justify passing on Ladd.
GR is the reason I have Sirius. The only monthly bill I'll never complain about and gladly pay.

Audacy VIP: "Get on the air today, and kiss the Bills behind! We better not lose those broadcast rights!"
Jeremy: "Sir, yes sir!"
Sneaky Joe: "Buh-dee, buh-dee!"
I was thinking about this too. Idk when the broadcasting rights expire, but it wouldn't shock me if they took the Bills and Sabres somewhere else. It's kinda embarrassing to associated with such a horrible station.

Life can be so ironic. If you're old enough, you know it's true. Wish this kid the best of careers.

That's an incredible job by his agent. I cannot believe he got that much. Pats will enjoy the 7 games they'll get out of him.

I went to the Sabres game on the 9th. Dinner at the Town before. No idea of what would come. On the 11th I had to be in the north towns unit 8. I live in Colden. It was absolutely surreal listening to WFAN on the ride home. Updates came fast. First the NBA canceling the rest of the season. 3 minutes later it was the NCAA tournament. Even the host couldn't believe it. I'll never forget that the only people on the road were Fed x and Amazon
It was really creepy

He was my TE on my FF team so I took an extra interest and look into his usage. Injury early hurt but he was criminally under used formation and matchup wise. It didn't help he had TL reading the coverage but he got open frequently. He'll be a nice fit wherever he lands. Solid TE.

Of course I'm watching. SB Sunday has an energy of its own no matter who is playing. It's one game in a sport I love for the World Championship. I don't like the teams but the matchup is a good one.

I was there. We sat about 25 rows up behind the Raiders bench about the 25. The thud on the Tasker blocked punt was louder than the crowd and almost right in front of us. I'll never forget that sound.

I didn't see this game as controversial.
There were some borderline calls. But you have to knock out the champ - you can't leave it to the judges. On that 4th down, we're responsible for that being a judgment call. I thought he made it, but it was too hard to tell.
We could have had that game, but we made too many mistakes. The failed tush pushes were a microcosm of the whole game - opportunities that were there, but we just didn't seize.
Finally. Thank you.

Jimmy Johnson said something to his team in 88 after UM got screwed on the Cleveland Gary fumble.
"I told you, when you go to Notre Dame, you can't leave it in the hands of the refs." I believe that applies here.

Home in Glenwood. Wife bought a pork shoulder from Davies in Springville (fantastic place) and it's just us and the foster dog. I got invited to a party at my friend's house in Elmwood Village but I love watching the game peacefully at home.
If they win (or when they win) I'm definitely going to his place for the SB. I want to be in the city when they win it all.

I'm quietly confident. Following this team for 50 years, I'm also ready for another heartbreaker. Once I realized that no matter what happens tonight, it won't come close to Wide Right, I suddenly felt very calm. I can't do anything to effect the outcome. All I can do is send out positive energy to the universe. I think it's the Bills time. Too many football and non-football signs to ignore. I guess we'll know in about 5 1/2 hours from now.
Go Bills!

Will they? Baltimore is arguably the better team.
I think they have too. Baltimore may have a better collection of talent, but playoff-wise, KC is a way better team.

They've probably reach a saturation point. It doesn't indict them as fans. Remember, the comeback game didn't sell out. Plus, it's on TV no matter what. Hope we have this problem someday.

I agree about Sal. I don't find him objective at all anymore, he's way too close with the team and it makes biased. Like you said, it makes sense and it's hard to blame him for it.
The afternoon show is two guys who just don't want to be there anymore. Mike Schopp obviously has a lot of contempt for Buffalo in general and thinks he's too good for the market. Bulldog just needs to retire but for whatever reason can't. I don't hold it against him, I actually like his takes when he bothers to throw one out there.
Sal was fine when he started but now he thinks he's part of the organization. He's never critical and the insight he provides is nothing more than any fan can witness for themselves. I had to stop following him on X because of the shameless self promotion. I heard him on KNBR with Greg Papa awhile back and he kept trying to be Greg's buddy saying that they should go out to dinner when SF comes to town. He asked him 3x lol. Silence means no Sal. Can you imagine him as the Sabres reporter? "They're one good trade from being a Cup contender."

The conservative offence worries me a bit. It kind of reminds me of the first 6 or so games of the season.
Against KC, going to have to open it up more and put the game in your superstar QBs hands
Exactly. It worked against Baltimore but they'll have to be more aggressive against KC because KC is KC.

If you're able, checkout the Skycast on ESPNEWS. 302 on Spectrum. Skycam only with just natural sound. It's awesome.

My friend and I always laugh about how you can get more insight on the Bills in a 12 minute segment on Movin the Chains on Sirius than a whole week on GR. Idk who runs the show but that station is an embarrassment. Bulldog must pick up his check with a mask and gun. Talk about mailing it in.

Antonio Brown in big trouble...again

We all knew he was going to snap, it just depended on the degree. This is not good if true. This sport is unforgiving and takes chunks out of every player to varying degrees. He definitely needs help.
