Bosa is great but he plays with better front 7 talent…Players who have registered 12 or more sacks their first three seasons in the NFL.....................Reggie White and Mica Parsons.

Splitting hairs here, but Myles Garrett has 88.5 sacks in 7 seasons.  Chris Jones also has claim to the top spot.

I prefer McConkey, but I'd be fine with Franklin as part of a tandem. The other fella better be a big bodied X, imo. Thomas, Mitchell, Legette, or even Coleman; maybe Walker a bit later.

    Franklin is an X.

Brian Thomas obviously doesn’t want to be selected by Buffalo. I know what they doing. This is a inside joke to them.

A Louisiana kid going to chilly Buffalo.  He likely isn't a fan of the cold.

I don't think it's malicious or anything.   Reminds me of this

  4. If you're gonna be a bear be a grizzly.

That MHJ package that OP put together, I'd rather have Nabers or make that same offer to Minnesota for Justin Jefferson.

If that doesn't work, either a trade into the teens for Brian Thomas Jr. or stay put at 28 and draft Mitchell or Franklin.

All of the above work for me.  There are a plethora of options.

  5. There have been misses, but you have to contrast that with his hits.

Beane seems to me a fluid guy that learns from his mistakes and adjusts accordingly.  For me that's one of the most important traits for a GM.

Trading Diggs has restored my faith in him.  It was a tough move, but it needed to happen.

Starting with Cook and Kincaid, he is retooling the offense right in front of our eyes and I like the direction it's heading.

Not to pour water on this campfire, but Nabers was "live" on his social media yesterday after his visit with the Chargers  in LA talking to a realtor and viewing the ocean from a spectacular patio

    Can you blame him?

Nabers wants his buddy here too😎

This is the more realistic scenario.  Can grab Thomas in the teens.

We need a 1, not a 2.  Slim pickings I know, I'd rather take our chances drafting one.

    Aiyuk is #1.

With Josh as his QB, I guarantee a 1300+ yard season out of him, barring injury.

Well if you take Brandon at his word it seems like he wants a receiver that can play inside and outside Legette definitely does fit that so does Ladd Mckonkey who all but said in Kay Adams show that he's met with a the bills a few times already.

Troy Franklin also fits that mold.  More than the other prospects, Franklin shows an innate ability to find the soft spot in zones.

The Bills have got to be among the 3 most likely teams to trade up for MHJ

That doesn't sound like Beane though.  If he had it his way, I think he'd like to avoid any possible "what ifs" and go for a known entity.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he works something out for Justin Jefferson or Brandon Aiyuk.

    Top 15 - 1050 Value - #28, 2025 1st, and #2 next year from Diggs trade

If there were any move I'd be willing to make, it would be this one.  I think we all know what holes this team will have for the next few years as the age purge is already happening.  I want to keep my picks this year, because we could get that Top 4 WR, and still get a starting G/C, and DL/S with our top picks.  Next year, we wouldn't have our first, but the value is here this year.  We wouldn't miss the 2nd from the Diggs trade.  So I view it as getting a top 4 receiver at the cost of our 1st next year.  I'm good with that

    #12 - 1200

    Bills - #1 2024 - 660 + Bills 2025 #1 300 = 960

That math doesn't math at all

The chart isn't gospel.  Sometimes teams have to give more, sometimes what's accpeted is less.

  11. People behind the scenes knew something was brewing.  The line moved on him being traded, specifically, to the Texans.

I was listening to Vic on XM and he stated that Beane is "retooling on the fly" and that's exactly what it looks like.

With Cook being the RB1 and the addition of Samuel, it seems to me that speed will be a primary focus for this "revamped" offense.

Unfortunately, it doesn't tell us much with Nabers, Thomas, Mitchell, Franklin, etc all being 4.3 guys.

Pay close attention to those top-30 visits.

Premier? They're gonna be lucky to get the 5th best prospect. They have no pathway to any of the top 3 without giving up 2 firsts and 2 second round picks. Did you like the Sammy Watkins trade, because that'll pale in comparison to what they'll have to give up to get  "a premier prospect". Diggs was already a top 5-7 WR int he NFL.  You're gambling to get someone even better in the late first?|

    Great plan.

Diggs used to be a top 5 WR in the league.  He's still good, but the tread is getting thin and it seemed he just didn’t have it as the season wore on.

A guy like Troy Franklin or Adonai Mitchell may prove to be the best wideout in this class.  It's deep, as you know.

The talent might have been real 5 years ago but it's safe to say after 3 serious injuries he isn't going to be running any 4.3's again.

He has less career carries than Ty Johnson and but is probably washed.

Reminds me of the Leonard Fournette fascination.......didn't matter what common sense should have told some Bills fans,  they had to see it for themselves.

Fournette was way past it by the time he got here, unfortunately.

It's happening because Beane created a hole where there wasn't one. This is NOT something that should be celebrated. Diggs + a Draft pick wasn't the strongest argument for making this team better, but removing Diggs and replacing him with a late first round rookie, makes this team worse in the short term with 100% certainty.

I disagree.  Diggs didn't do jack for nearly 13 consecutive weeks to end the season.   He wanted out and the Bills were wanting to move him.  A win for both parties.

The cap numbers are the cap numbers.  Buffalo is about to usher in a premiere rookie at a skill position.  I'm excited.

This is Beane and Brady's new vision for the offense.  The objective seems to be speed.

LOL, Samuel's had plenty of opportunity to be HUGE and has never even sniffed those results.  7 seasons to be precise.

The trade compensation was this year's 6th and next year's 2nd and 5th.

And you're right, Samuel's role is now HUGE, but honestly, anyone expecting that to materialize in the way that we need is going to be incredibly disappointed.

Who's the best QB Samuel has had to work with?  This will be a John Brown type of surprise.

OK, but move up with what?  We gonna trade away next year's first in a draft that's chock full of WRs?

We got a 6th this year, which is worthless for any such trade.  The 2nd next year is hardly a golden carrot.  The 5th next year is also worthless for a trade.

So out of curiosity, what do you think we trade to move up?  We have a 28th overall, a 60th overall, then again starting in the late 4th and day-3, which are generally useless for such a trade.

I don't have a good enough grasp of the trade compensation to make a guess, but it feels like a trade up.

This I will say, Curtis Samuel's role is now HUGE.  He is a weapon and it is now all but confirmed that he'll be used as such.

FWIW, our starting WRs are currently Shakir, Samuel, and Shorter.

If we don't use our 1st-rounder on a WR now ...  SMFH

Having a good feel for Beane, the plan is to move up and grab their guy.  Brian Thomas is my best guess.

I’m not sure about capital. They got a 2025 second, gave up a 6th this year and a 5th next year to move him. Feels like Beane got beat up on this one

It wasn't working here.   31 years old in November and in decline with a huge cap number.

A hard move, but a necessary one.  Both parties should benefit.
