CJ Stroud hadn't even singed his contract and he had influence on the Texans drafting Tank Dell.
Josh telling the powers that be that he wants a sure-handed big target isn't a big deal at all to me.

Reminds me of Travis Henry, I think.
I'm seeing a slower Maurice Jones-Drew.

We already signed Quintez Cephus.
Oh how I wish there were Cephus and Reesie 'In Living Color' gifs available on here.

I agree wholeheartedly, but at this point I think it's apparent that nothing is going to change.
As long as McBeane is running the show, this is the best effort you're going to get to surround Josh with what he needs.
If Coleman doesn't develop into something reminiscent of Keenan Allen or Hopkins, Josh's prime will officially have been wasted.

I don't even watch pregame shows anymore, but Ryan seems like a good addition.

You can keep making things up so us northerners don’t retire down there. But we’re not listening
As someone who planned to retire in The Keys, pythons in Key Largo and rising sea level have my attention.

I'm more than willing to give Keon a shot to prove me wrong, but I would have taken Adonai Mitchell or Troy Franklin over him.
We'll see.

Isn’t that the case with most teams’ WR corps though? I mean what team honestly has pro bowlers at WR4-6?Not 4-6, but we're 1 injury away from potential disaster.
I've been saying it for years, but there's no way Beane would have drafted Chase the year after Higgins or most recently, Odunze after already having Moore and Allen on the roster.
That's problematic for me.

This is all dependent on how Coleman transitions at the NFL level.
Here's hoping he's more Keenan Allen than N'Keal Harry.

He goes to the team that drafted his college QB. To me that sounds like he instantly has a relationship and trust with his QB that he’s been catching TDs from for years.
Oh damn. I missed that part.

... and he goes to the team with the worst QB situation in football.
Life comes at you fast.

The combine results were indicative of a lack of preparation which demonstrates a poor work ethic.
Wasn't he recoevering from the flu?
Also, when does the combine outweigh what is seen on film? Sometimes these bean counters out-think themselves.

Well...there is no guarantee they are right either.
Plenty of round 4 WRs end up as really good players that would have been taken in the first round of there was a "do over" 4 years later.
I guess we would have to revisit it in 4 years to know, just like we would any pick really.
Amon Ra St. Brown - 4th rounder

An absolute steal for the Patriots.

another boom or bust type IMO
They all are, really.
Odds are that 2 of those first round guys who people fawned over will be complete busts.

And Troy Franklin is a sure thing to you? The entire NFL doesn't think so.
The NFL doesn't always get it right.

We need another WR.
I'll be shocked if it isn't Tez Walker.

One of pre-draft videos compared him to Kenny Golladay (Lions version). It's not that far off imo.
I was such a big fan of Kenny. SOOO much potential.
I hated his move to NY because of their QB situation and it panned out just like I feared, but that's the risk you take when you prioritize money over fit.

He did and he is a fluid athlete for his size... I think he definitely plays faster than a 4.6
At 21 mph he certainly can run a fast 100 time... I thought he was a 4.55 guy who who runs smooth
I can see a Keenan Allen type.. I think they are both smooth bigger guys who are deceptive
Good comparison. Vincent Jackson comes to mind as well.

He's actually 6'3"&1/4 so if your rounding it should be down

It’s still too slow! Devante Adams and Antonio Brown both ran 4.56. They were both busts too. Only slot guys.
We need a burner!!! What is Beane thinking!!
4.57 for DeAndre Hopkins.
As long as Coleman has good game speed, he'll be fine and fans will be thanking their lucky stars for his combination of great hands and solid 6'4" frame.

Who leads the team in receiving in 2024? (Most yards)
in The Stadium Wall

Same. Kincaid will have over 100 receptions, but Samuel will lead in yards.
Curtis can do everything Beasley did in his prime, but he's more dynamic.
