I think he'll get there, but with 26,000 career passing yards and not even a Super Bowl appearance, you're smoking rocks if you think he's in already.

Watson for sure. Lawrence is #2.

That's hilarious. What do you want? Them not to cover you?
That's exactly what he wants.

Johnson had 3 solid years in the middle of an otherwise unremarkable career. Fell off a very steep cliff after 2012. Even in those 3 years his catch % was only 56.
Definitely TBD myth making here...
Not really. For example, Nick Van Exel averaged 14-3-6 for his career, but everybody knows he was a hooper, an innovator and extremely difficult to guard.
It's kind of like that.

That's high praise coming from Chad, who had the best feet I've ever seen a the WR position.
The "And1" label is a perfect one and likely why he gave Revis so much trouble. Stevie wasn't predictable.

The last thing the Bills need is another overpaid, oft-injured "star" player.

Chris Simms just did his top 40 QB countdown. This was his top 10:
Here's where I'm at, entirely based on their play right now not on their career. I put a line in between what I consider to be a significant drop off from one tier to the next.
1) Allen
2) Jackson
3) Mahomes
4) Burrow
-----
5) Stafford
6) Daniels
7) Stroud
8 ) Herbert
9) Goff
10) Mayfield
-----
11) Hurts
A bit disrespectful. I'd take Hurts over all of them. Stafford and Daniels as well, now that I'm thinking about it.
Hurts is 1 costly fumble away from being a 2-time Super Bowl champ.

I strongly dislike AB, but not a chance this charge is going to stick.

How about $200k?-

If the question is, "What's your price?" I need to know the full details.
Would accepting the money mean that the Bills would never win the Super Bowl in my lifetime?
I'd pass on $500 without blinking.

Cook is a much needed weapon. It's as simple as that.
Who else on this offense, not named Allen, is a threat to do anything significant on a weekly basis?
Pay your talent. F***!

And you're making it sound like we spent an entire draft for one player. It's weird.
I dare you to pinpoint where I did that. Go ahead and quote it.
I'll wait.

come on now man, you can do better than such nonsense.
All I said was that giving Beane credit for getting a 5th rounder out of his 1st round pick was nothing to celebrate.
I'm not wrong.
5 hours ago, The Wiz said:Apparently reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.
The bills were able to get draft capital and clear 2.5m from their salary cap this year vs carrying a player that didn't work out in their system for 4.6m and then likely would have let him go at the end of the season anyways.
The fact that he was a bust for the Bills was never even mentioned in my previous comment but you do you.
Ha!
You guys are trying to make this move seem like some kind of win. It's weird.

It is when we got ANYTHING for Elam. He never was a fit in our Defense and never played a play on STs.
I get it though. Your day isn’t complete without bashing your 5peat Division Champs or their mgmnt. It’s what you do and what you bring. 🤦♂️The truth hurts. I know.
10 hours ago, The Wiz said:A 1st round pick that amounted to 12 starts over 3 years with 2 INTs and 6 pass break ups.
How much did we get for Maybin??? Oh right, we waived him.
So now we're happy about 1st round failures. Got it.

If they got a 5th for Elam then Beane actually is a wizard.
You're letting Beane off the hook here.
Getting a 5th in return for a 1st round pick is no wizardry.

You can structure the deal so that he can brag about 13 million but the cap hits are actually 10 million. That's what will happen.
Give it to him in the way of a bonus for all I care, but the tag is $13.6M. I wouldn't accept anything less AAV.

So who will have a bigger impact?
Bosa or Cook? Because people don't want to pay Cook close to this much money, yet they're fine with giving it to an often injured, about to 30 DE... with a whopping 13 sacks over the last 3 seasons. But yeah, great money spent!
It makes no sense.
They won't miss Cook until he's gone, but I think Beane will get something done.
If I'm Cook, I wouldn't settle for any less than $13M-$14M.

And if they add one more pass rusher in the draft plus some beef in the middle you’re now fielding one of the most fearsome DLs in the AFC.
Is Joey going to turn back the clock 4 seasons?

Didn’t Floyd get released today? I’d rather have him again.
Absolutely! 1 game missed and 28 sacks over the past 3 seasons.
A no-brainer.

Waller coming out of retirement for an easy $5M.
He'll be injured before week 1 and miss double digit games this season.
