    That is obvious, but it more has to do with the play call and execution. It's one thing if you throw the ball beyond the first down marker and Washington defends well and knocks it down. It's another to throw the ball short of the sticks on a play call that really only has one route.

    Them explain it makes the call even worse. We literally had a one route pass call on fourth down.

    What kind of route combination was that *****. It's 4-2, it is inexcusable that any of the routes were run shorter than the first down marker.

    I don't think you can really say that. He couldn't step into it because he had a guy lunging for him from in front and behind.

    I'll say it again. This is why you don't pay a guy long term off of one elite year. Need to see it continued and it just hasn't for Josh. He is back to 2019 Josh.

    Why are we giving the TE a 10 yard cushion and backing up beyond the sticks. That's just too easy.

    Did anyone just see what Cincy did on fourth down and inches under two minutes to go in the game. Play action pass to the TE. Those should have been the types of plays we were calling today.

    Let's not blame that. Poor QB play leaving points on the board is what killed us. Doesn't matter if he can throw it a mile if that mile results in an incompletion most of the time.

    They were terrible down the stretch and were only 11-0 because of a bad schedule and luck.

    I disagree, simply because of the amount of yards Singletary got. Hindsight is 20/20, but Singletary gained enough yards on those run plays that they were essentially pass plays. So, no harm no foul same amount of time comes off the clock as if those were caught passes.
