Josh Allen gets record contract extension $330 million
Buddy Hix replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Allen is a good pocket passer, not elite though, which is where the conversation was coming from…that because Brady was amazing after 35, Allen will be too. I just said that Allen is a HOF talent because of his athleticism, whereas Brady was amazing in the pocket. -

Elway had 60 rushing attempts in a season once. Allen has averaged 108 attempts per season. I know Elway would take a hit to make a play, but he took a lot less abuse in comparison to Allen. -

The discussion was the Bills have 6 seasons to get a SB, those 6 covering the years Allen will be the most effective. And yeah, Fran one a bowl after age 35….he did it with a bunch of all pro players. -

Allen has time to develop into more of a pocket passer as he ages, I hope he does. Elway did play three seasons past age 35, but Elway didn’t take nearly as much abuse as Allen does. And Elway had elite talent everywhere to take the load off of him. Allen has zero elite players currently, so hoping Beane actually finds a way to get Allen help. -

Allen ain’t Brady, he relies on his athleticism. Maybe Allen learns to read a defence better, but backyard football will be tough to play at 35. -
I said Miller wouldn’t get 20 sacks in his Bills career, and he couldn’t even reach 15. Bills Twitter was convinced the signing was great, all the content creators applauded…but guy was injury prone and 33, it was foolish. Oh, Von is also a POS human, btw. Google his revenge porn lawsuit that no one talks about.

https://nymag.com/intelligencer/article/trump-vs-canada-51st-state-wildest-threats.html Just more proof that the US’ fixation on Canada is nefarious and Trump’s end game is exactly the same as Putin’s with Ukraine. The only question I have is when it becomes clear the Trump and Putin are allies, will MAGA care? I doubt it…

Prop: something used in creating or enhancing a desired effect My point was that Trump doesn’t give a ***** about people who have died or will die from fentanyl, he is simply exploiting their deaths for his own purposes. Please stop replying to me, you are not capable of conversing at an adult level. Go post some funny twitter memes, that’s what your side wants you to do. Be helpful.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trade-war-trump-plans-auto-sector-1.7477139 As I said yesterday, anyone with a brain can see through Trump’s lies. This is a clumsy attempt to force manufacturers to move back to the US. Why not approach the situation with a level head instead of a flamethrower? The answer is that Trump and his team are morons. Now it might work still because the US is such a juggernaut, but they doesn’t excuse the idiocy on display. And imagine if Sleepy Joe was using the deaths of tens of thousands of US citizens at the hands of fentanyl as a prop? Oh, the fake outrage…

The fact that you posted this as a serious response is embarrassing. Canada is indignant about tariffs because Trump is lying about fentanyl and migrants coming across the northern border being a national emergency. Trump himself said today that the tariffs will not be paused again in April, lol. Why would he say that if tariffs were really tied to action on the border “emergency”? And Trump paused the tariffs because industry cannot reroute supply chains in a month, and the impact to many sectors would be devastating…Trump is a fool.

I understand that MAGA are not the brightest group, so I’ll help them out. Trump has consistently said, and used the fentanyl issue as a “national emergency” trigger to justify the tariffs. He’s a liar, and not much smarter than Biden. Tariffs are Trump’s brilliant idea to force manufacturers to move to the US, upsetting the interwoven North American supply chain. Trump is so ***** stupid, he thought just invoking the tariffs would be enough, not understanding how much effort is required to undo decades of work, so he didn’t properly notify manufacturers or his former allies. And in announcing another embarrassing pause on some tariffs, his senile ass let his true intentions slip… “I told them, ‘That’s it,’” he said, recalling a conversation he had with three of the largest automakers. During that call, he purportedly told them, “I don’t want to hear from you after April 2,” adding that would be a “very big day for America.” There is nothing Canada or Mexico can do about the border, as if the northern border was ever an issue. Trump isn’t negotiating, he’s just buying time because his plan is awful and not thought out well. The US is big enough that protectionism may well work, but this display of incompetence is truly hilarious. So you’re welcome, MAGA, at least now you’re in the know and can stop embarrassing yourselves like your dear leader has done. That’s the game…pay for massive tax cuts for the wealthy by ***** over your allies.

Ha, I doubt Pegs is happy.

We don’t need each other. It was a mutually beneficial relationship, but one that isn’t essential. It will definitely be more painful for Canada to endure the separation, but we’ll be better for it. And unlike the US, Canadians can, and will, work together. I’m a Conservative but am able to put politics aside in a moment that requires a unified country. The US is no longer a reliable ally, and has chosen to shift its foreign policies and align itself with Putin, which is unacceptable. I am happy we are drawing a line in the proverbial sand.

Trump has stated that he plans on using economic force to annex Canada. Why is this so hard to comprehend? This isn’t a negotiation, it’s the beginning of an attempted takeover.

The same MAGAs criticizing Zelenskyy for not taking a deal with Trump are celebrating Trump violating a deal (USMCA) that he made. Constantly talking out of both sides of their mouth. And I have already seen MAGAs talking about unfair tariffs from Mexico and Canada as justification for Trump reneging on a deal he called ”terrific” when he signed it…those tariffs were part of the deal that Trump celebrated. Let’s all enjoy this massive recession as Putin smiles.

"The Kremlin and the Whitehouse are aligned"
Buddy Hix replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
The Kremlin announces the Trump’s foreign policy aligns with their vision and MAGA brings up Soros? Why can’t you address the alignment of your God and Putin? Just waiting for better Twitter posts to steer you in the right direction. -
"The Kremlin and the Whitehouse are aligned"
Buddy Hix replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
“The new administration is rapidly changing all foreign policy configurations,” Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary for the Russian government, said to state television on Sunday. “This largely aligns with our vision.” I hope the majority of MAGA on here are Russian bots, because the alternative is sad AF. The Kremlin states that America’s new foreign policy aligns with the Kremlin’s position, and MAGA still trying to spin their own narrative. smh -
Gonzo Mock Draft Version 3.0 Final Version( Starts on Page 7)
Buddy Hix replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
You put in a ton of work, thanks. I would be ecstatic if Buffalo landed Grant, really hope he falls to us. -
How? McD and Beane draft a kid who can’t separate, who only won 33% of his contested catches against ACC competition, who only runs a 4.61, and who has limited route running skills, and act like hard work will overcome his deficiencies. Feels like McD and Beane know they reached on a fringe NFL player and are now setting up the excuse.
