Has the NFL season ended for anyone else?
Steptide replied to billsintaiwan's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, honestly I'm looking forward to the games Sunday. I understand why others won't watch or don't care, but I'm a die hard football fan at the end of the day. -
Sad thing is, 5 or 6 seasons ago we could've only dreamed about playing for an afc championship game or having a qb as good as Allen. Our expectations have gone up so high. We've gone from just get to the playoffs to just get to the superbowl.

Jordan Palmer interview about Josh Allen 1/27
Steptide replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
How did Jordan palmer become a qb guru? Wasn't he crappy when he played? -
Here it is 4 days after the game and I'm still going over scenarios in my head of how the game could've been won. I'm definitely better today than I was Monday or Tuesday, but it's amazing how long this is sticking. The thing that's driving me nuts is, it's just a football game. It has no effect on my everyday life (other than the emotion of the game). My life is no different today than it was a week ago, other than the fact that the bills arnt playing this weekend. This time of year is always a little depressing as I know football is ending soon and that bums me out. I want this game out of my head. I'm actually looking forward to the games Sunday to help move on from the disaster that happened last Sunday night. Side note - while I think it's a nice F-U to the pro bowl, I whole heartedly believe Allen isn't going because of the pain he's going through with this loss. I legit feel terrible for him because this loss is not on him whatsoever. I apologize, I know we've had alot of posts or threads like this all week, but somehow it helps

Jeff Fisher Takes Michigan Panthers HC Job (USFL)
Steptide replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
These leagues never last. If they want one of these to be successful, they need to make it different from the NFL. Change some of the rules. You can't run a football league the same way as the NFL and expect it to be good. These players just don't match up -
Do u think Marrone texted him and said congrats or F-you?
-
I'd almost be shocked if it wasn't the Thursday night opener or the first Sunday night game(kc and bills that's is) . With how that game went on Sunday, the NFL would be nuts not to make that a week 1 game in prime time
-
Right now that's a 14-3 record. Only losses I can see (right now) would be Baltimore, rams and cheifs

Do you want KC to cruise to the Super Bowl title?
Steptide replied to Charles Romes's topic in The Stadium Wall
I want Cinci to win this weekend, but even if they do, the cheifs have been to the superbowl the last 2 seasons and won 1 of them. It won't be THAT painful for them and their fanbase. Ya I want kc to lose on a last second fg, or better yet in ot, but they won't feel the pain we've felt this week -
Chief Fans Make Donations to Childrens Hospital
Steptide replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is pretty awesome -
No. I have full confidence in him though. He'll bring in the right players and re sign the guys we need
-
He basically said a whole lot of nothing.
-
I'll be rooting for the Bengals cuz they're the under dog and I'm tired of kc being in the super bowl, but I just can't see them upsetting the cheifs. I see this game something like 42-20. As stated though, anything can happen. Bottles and the jags had the Patriots on their heels a few years back in the championship game, so who knows.

Looks like the call to squib may not have made it to Bass
Steptide replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall
If true, that's legit terrible. The ONE guy who needs to know didn't know -
Ya that's one of things that frustrates me. I feel like it's gonna be kc and rams in the superbowl and the rams are gonna pressure the bleep out of Mahomes and frustrate him. It's what I wanted the bills to do (at least partially) but for whatever reason the bills won't blitz Mahomes
-
Ya I agree, but hey you never know. They beat them at the end of the season
-
I keep seeing these kinda posts come up on Twitter. I find it kind of weird as the Bengals and their fan base really have no connection to us outside the Dalton thing. However, if it gives them any extra motivation to beat the cheifs, then go Bengals

What are the top three worst losses in franchise history?
Steptide replied to VaMilBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
The superbowls were the worst. You can't top those, especially 4 in a row. After those though - Music City Miracle. This whole game was just cursed from the start. Starting Johnson over flutie. Just a nightmare. Houston 2019 playoffs. 16 point lead blown. Then game goes to ot, and 2 players have Watson tackled and he somehow gets out of it and throws a pass down field to get in fg range. Patriots mnf in 2009. I put this above the Dallas mnf because we were beating them all game. If I remember correctly, the bills gave up like 14 points in the last minute and a half. Crushing loss Steelers 2004. Had the playoffs handed to us on a silver platter and couldn't beat back ups Dallas Mnf 2007. Our offense was absolutely putrid that night, but the defense and special teams were amazing. Unreal they gave up an on side kick with like a minute left. There's actually quite a few other games i can think of in the drought era that were heart breakers, but just weren't very significant. The Browns mnf game comes to mind. Lastly, Sunday night will sting for a very long time. I don't know where to put it yet, but right now it's definitely one of the worst I know the op asked for the top 3, but there's many many more than 3 -
I hate that I can't move on from this game
-
In media he won't admit his faults, but I 100% believe in front of the team he does. I think McDermott does everythjng possible to avoid distraction in the outside world, but in the building I think it's a different story.
-
Well either way, it was an epic fail on defense.
-
I agree. He kept talking about execution in his pc today. I think this was his way of saying that the coaches blew it. I feel so bad for Allen. Litterally won the game and then the coaches let him down
-
Yes it matters. But let's say they squib it, kc grabs the ball and runs to the 40 with 9 seconds left, then Mahomes throws to kelce and they get in fg range. The end result is the same. My point was starting at the 25 with 13 seconds is an almost near impossible task to get down field. It was and epic fail on the defense to allow it to happen.
