  1. Seattle and Green bay traded out of the 1st completely. We did exactly what fans have been bitching they wished we could do and act like New England and make NE Moves and that is exactly what we did. The entire draft last night blew up every "experts" lists. We traded down, didn't reach for a QB, and got an additional 3rd, a 1st next year and a damn solid Corner that fits OUR SYSTEM. That is a great job by McDermott who sees the big picture. This was a great move, best by this franchise in many years, but some people will never be happy.
  2. Read up on him, I really like this pick
  3. I love the trade. We are getting what will be needed to move up and get our QB next year
  4. Trade down!!! Btw anyone see the guys with the Bills hat behind Williams lol
  5. That's a bold move Cotton....
  6. Holy crap! Chcago just threw the entore draft into a tail spin. #mindsblown
  7. Yep. We can address CB, Safety and #2 WR if we do it right in this draft if we have the picks.
  8. Show me the money!...errr...Draft picks!
  9. I get the point. The point is New England drafts in the bottom 10-15 every year, if they don't' trade out of the first round completely. They go to superbowls and dominate us. Its not WHERE you pick, but WHO you pick. There is not one player at 10 who will put this team over the top. we need PLAYERS and the talent in this draft is very equal all the way into the 3rd round outside of maybe 7 players. Now if we were a playoff team and a player or two away from competing for the Superbowl, stay at 10 or trade up. But we aren't. We have a team with a lot of over rated players and we need to be replacing them with better talent and filling holes. We can do that somewhat in this draft that is very deep with additional picks.
  10. Those are just names. The draft is and has always been, made in the 2nd round on. I say load up on the depth in this draft with more picks
  11. As deep as this draft is, I don't see a large margin of talent drop off from #11 - 64 There are maybe 7 "clean" athletes in this draft. But as deep as it is I want more picks.
  12. I really hope this is true. Two if possible
  13. Because its the smartest thing to do in a really deep draft. Um Atlanta has done it before right?
  14. I am not meaning to be a jerk, but this is assumption of risk. If by now, with all the research and how this has been in the news, you dont' know this WILL happen, I don't know what to tell you.
  15. I really can't disagree when it comes to the front office
  16. We are trading up to take QB Bo Callahan
  17. I have wondered that myself. Many of the scouts in house, are responsible for crappy QB evaluations since Kelly retired. I doubt all go, but I would bet 80% are gone and the new GM brings in his scouts
