Needing all of the offense points as at this point in the year the defense has been less than expected.
I expect as the season goes longer the Defense starts playing a little better and some of these comebacks that the D is allowing will stop.
Remember no preseason games that let the team have more real time tackling and get more in sync i do have trust in Frazier and McDCermott to get the issues corrected.
Big tip of the hat to the offense on carrying the D so far this year.
This is 100% spot on.....When Fitz was here the line enjoyed Fitz getting the ball out extremely quick and iirc he was prob one of the least sacked QB's that year. Very hard to get sacks on Fitz with his quick release. And if the Bills were attacking with the Blitz (didn't seem like many times to me though) They certainly gave soft overages for most of the game and I was surprised with the talk of Parker and the hammy concern
This game i have just below the no punt game because of course no punts......The Bledsoe Minn game was pretty good too
I'm just all giddy after watching these first two weeks ready for the next game!
I also liked this play and the mention in the cover 1 review of the game that Moss did a nice subtle vet move by moving back behind the lb's covering the goal line opening himself up for that pass as well
There will always be critics...... That throw to Brow and the miss to Knox earlier tells he me he heeds to spend some time working on that throw rolling to his left.....and then the ball security when running........Some of the points they make are valid but way over zealous and atleast Bomani Jones said he had a pretty good game but if they are to be competitive come playoff and to the superbowl these have to be fixed I concur. There was a bad throw late in the game that could of been picked. It was the Jets and I drink a littel that good thing this was against the Jets because there will be games where the Defense may be nicked up like this week that the offense needs to shoulder more of the load and those mistakes may come to bite ya
Not worried, if any teams loses their starting QB they in the same position. I'm fine with Barkley and Fromm as the backups. There are a few teams that have names people recognize as the back up but that is a luxury I can live without.
he brings up a solid point in the secondary issues after having covid and the heart and how that impacts players that are overweight......might explain why Star is sitting out.
