It’s a league wide issue as drills move away from live hitting and tackling so it hard to replicate in a more teaching type practices w less contact

Crazy drop by the same guy defense better step up fast or this game is over

Lamar looks upset and is wondering why does Tom get to be on her lap
-
yeah this is exactly.......but I also think this is what Josh needs guys making plays for him....it was there but this was just a miserable fail as Dimarcco jumped way too early but I doubt he is in the position very often
-
I think Josh will need to start to trust his guys better as when he did throw those passes for the WR to go get and make a play for him often they were intercepted or the WR just stood there and watched the DB intercept it ala Zay jones. Do like the options the Bills have via the draft

Titans used Bills defense as blueprint to stop Ravens
ILBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Said [prior to the Bills-Ravens game have to take away the middle and make Lamar throw outside as the inaccuracy really rears it head. Bills did that for the majority of the game and then had the blown coverage to the TE. Be nice to commit to the run game the way the Titans did last night -
Hard NOT to root for the Titans.....

i'd be fine with any AFC team still in to win it ....nfc i'll be rooting for Packers but i'm not sold on them going to sf to win if they beat Seattle today -
3 playoff QBs have taken helmet to helmet hits

The NFL ref's definitely could learn something from the college ref's as all three plays would of been flags in the NCAA for lowering the head -
The two Browns helping out their QB's in the games tonight with some amazing catches. Love Brown and Beasley but this is what the Bills WR's need to start doing for Josh. Please Beane get Allen a guy who makes plays in the passing game for the QB.

The Intentional Grounding Penalty that Wasn't

The next play was even worse with I think only three guys rushing and again Dawkins let's the guy just run right in on Josh free and untouched. The line was average all game and then this series of events when your in range to tie the game I'm sure set many fans a fire. Sad that Josh took a lot of heat on these plays when the pressure was instant. -
Joe B All-22 from Houston playoff game
ILBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if it came across as deep middle it was to be in the 10-20 yard range as it was open in OT and for a lot of the game. I get he deep middle form your original post but i'm referring to the mid middle i'm referring to the 10-20 yard range not the deep middle -
Joe B All-22 from Houston playoff game
ILBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I haven’t looked at the data but this would make sense as it was not attacked all year. Didn’t know if it was coordinate thing or QB thing as it’s been open a lot and it is where most TE’s live hopefully it becomes an area to attack as that is exactly the area attacked by the Ravens -
Joe B All-22 from Houston playoff game

Irregardless of the lateral play he got the team in position to tie the game with no timeouts. Then in OT took the team down the field a lack of execution by the pulling center and Tr to block Kirkpatrick and then a horrible block penalty in first is what kept him from and the Bills from winning this game. little over zealous on the Allen hate. i love Allens passion to win and thought he did ok. Players need to step up for the guy and also make some plays, oh and some plays to attack the middle of the field that was wide open in OT would of been nice -
Chiefs roll....their defense has improved a lot

The REAL reason Duke Didnt Catch The TD Pass
ILBillsfan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First sentence says at the end of the game shou added end of regulation as there was two throws to the end zone that had no chance but the target goess to Williams nowhere did it reference the end of the “half” td attempt -
The REAL reason Duke Didnt Catch The TD Pass
ILBillsfan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was in response to the dance with who brung you. People are looking at the ten targets thing and saying how Duke got more targets. There is even more underlying reasons why Beasley targets were down as well as McKenzie was seeing way more field at the end in place of Beasley. I'm not saying I disagree with go with who got you there but just pointing out some of the numbers for Duke are a higher due to the two passes at the end of the game that didn't even have a prayer of being completed seemed like just heaves for no reason. I was frustrated at the end of the game and thru the whole game wondering where the Beasley targets and Knox in the seem were all game. Just trying to point some light on the number of targets -
The REAL reason Duke Didnt Catch The TD Pass
ILBillsfan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It does happen but it is so ingrained in these guys heads from an early stage in foot ball to seal the edge (this includes having the backers blocked as well on pulls before moving to the higher levels equates to me on the defense side as keeping your Gap responsibility and not abandoning it. I really hate to see fundamentals cost teams but in this game so many times it was just the small fundamental thing that did. murphy vs Watson on the first TD leaves his contain to go to the RB and Watson has a free run that he ends up taking all the way for the TD This play on offense seal the edge, can hear the coaches at practice hopefully saying what he say and that is a block 7 yards down field does no good if a guy is not blocked at the los the line vs a three man rush inexcusably lets a guy just run free to of all things the offensive lineman's inside position as the inside guy leaves his spot to go help tow guys that are blocking one on a critical fourth down play ughhh. Sometimes I just don't understand how the building blocks as in these are the A's of the abc's just go right out the window. This game really tests a players mentality every play it has to be there and unfortunately at some untimely times in the game it was not. Sorry I really rambled there
