I got a bad feeling about this.
Beane is likely shell shocked right now. He’s not doing anything until they show their hand.

Told ya guys.

So now we’re down to the Patriots or Carolina for Watson.
-
The Patriots are going to send a trailer full of picks over for Watson.

Call me crazy...
But this has me thinking we might want to hold our cap space -- and maybe even make moves in the draft (trading back for future draft capital) -- to be a player for Allen Robinson and/or Khalil Mack at the trade deadline.
They just restructured both those dudes I think.

It’s it’s only a 1 million dollar deal then I’d be ok with it. He would only be a return specialist and take McKenzie’s place with those sweeps. He’s not a WR. It’s pretty amazing that he still can’t run routes. That was the knock on him before the draft. That was like 10 years ago.

who downvoted this, I mean, there is no one that Edmunds would be traded for. I doubt that!
He’s apparently untouchable on this roster.
I don’t believe that. People are just going by things that were said previously. He’s the guy until he isn’t. Then those people don’t admit they were wrong and just move on to the next thing that definitely would never happen.

Do you think coaches and players only care about his dreads? Edmunds has made the Pro Bowl twice and 2/3 of the vote is coaches and players. The last 1/3 is the fans.
I think that instead of benching him in week 4 next season, you trade him and save yourself the humiliation that will ensue. I truly think he could be on the move. We just paid Milano. That tells us he likely isn’t part of the future anymore. They aren’t going to pay both of them.

From Free Agent Frenzy on @nflnetwork: The #Eagles are taking their time with TE Zach Ertz, as they wait for higher trade compensation. Also, Ertz isn't looking for a new contract as part of a deal. Willing to play out his final year.
So Edmunds alone won’t get this deal done. Not surprising.

It would likely be a trade. Edmunds for Ertz.

If he’s a guy that struggles to keep weight ON then shouldn’t he be able to run a little faster? Lol.

Where does a 160 pound man fit on this defense?

That's why we need to draft Etienne or Najee Harris with our top pick. Our RB's are the epitome of mediocrity. Get a stud in here and trade Singletary. He is small and on the slow side. Heck resign Yeldon and actually play him. He has tread on his tires and is actually good.
Yeah, that may be the way to go.

Perhaps we should accept that we won’t have a physical top 5 defense and load up on offense from here on out.
Fill CB2 in free agency.
Draft offense and Star’s replacement.

This would make sense.

Well they definitely are stock piling in the position no Bills player or scheme can cover.
Yeah, this isn’t good at all. We can’t roll with this defense. We need to be bigger and better. Our scheme is somewhat soft to begin with. They’re going to bludgeon us.

I think that Henry and Smith are nice signings for the Pats** but it all depends on who's throwing them the ball. These two TE's aren't vintage Gronk and Hernandez either. These aren't your Tom Brady New England Patriot weapons on offense. I think it makes their offense better but it only moves them from dumpster fire to respectable with their QB situation. Obviously that can change, so we shall see.
Well, are they just flipping the model? Do they plan to trade their entire draft? It’s possible.

I expect BB to continue to target Edmunds...
Edmunds is a huge liability. That’s why I want him gone. Lol.

I wouldn’t assume at all that Cam is their QB. They could be building this team for Watson.

I said a few weeks ago that this Bills team looks “soft” like Indy teams of the past.
Well, the Patriots obviously think so too and are building to exploit it.

Again........$11M in 2020 cap space for those two. Don't be ridiculous.
Kareem Hunt had almost 800 carries in college........he was a pretty explosive player his first couple seasons in the league..........since then, not so much.
His per play production in Cleveland is WAY below those first two pre-suspension seasons in KC.......both on the ground and in the air.
One of the things people need to adjust to is this idea that RB's don't hit the wall until around age 30............the RB position does not get the kind of athletes that it did when those numbers were reasonable to expect.
There are some who say that 26 is the new 30 for RB's.....look at Leveon Bell as a Hunt-like example.
But sometimes guys just lose that extra juice earlier than that.
So I don't care what age Hunt is.......he's not some stud RB of yore.......his two years of diminished per play production and the amount of touches in his first 6 combined college and pro seasons support the idea that he is showing the mileage.
I think he’s a bit better than what we have, which is the worst starting RB in the league.

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious that Motor isn’t a starter. A 10 year old can tell you that.

We won’t need much from Allen. We have SINGLETARY.
The suits just knocked on his door and threatened his life.
