I keep myself away from the casinos because I love to gamble, but go once or twice every year. (Used to do a yearly vegas trip for March madness opening weekend with friends but wives/kids have ended that).
I play a little of everything. Blackjack or three card poker are my favorites, I’ve had several good runs at both. My rule is always to walk once I’m +$1,000.
My biggest wins are actually at Seneca Buffalo Creek. I’ve hit for 5k twice on the “Top Dollar” slots there. I’f I lose at the tables I like to take the last $100 of my bankroll to slots and try to hit something before I leave.

I like it too.
I have no experience watching Korean content, but I really dig it. I like how everything is shot, acted, and looking into a different culture as part of the background.
Anyway. The Squid Game is great. 3 Episodes in and I like it.
There are so many good movies out of South Korea.
The Man from Nowhere
Burning
I Saw The Devil
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Oldboy
These are just a few, great content from Korea if you don’t mind subtitles.

There are enough younger newer faces I haven’t completely soured on. That in itself will make it less awful.

I actually really like Jalen Rose. I got a kick out of this segment, thanks for posting.

Man I must have had a couple too many yesterday, don’t remember him getting boo’d during the game. I do remember the “boos” during intros, but I wasn’t clear if those were even boo’s.
He’s got to ignore BS like this. Shame it gets in his head. -
Last year was no fun whatsoever. I don’t think this year can be any worse.

I’m a huge survival/horror genre fan (as well as a fan of Korean film) and Squid Game didn’t disappoint. I haven’t truly binged a show in a couple years and I stayed up late finishing this in two nights.
Apparently I’m not alone as it’s taken the world by storm.

I have had seasons since 2008. I believe my first seasons were something like $350… for the season. Today I sit corner of the lower bowl for under $900/season ticket.
I’ve always felt fortunate at our ability to get NFL football at a reasonable price. With the price points being floated we still will even with PSLs.

I’ll buy the PSLs, it is what it is. That’s the league.

Sad story. Innocent until proven guilty, but when I first read this and saw the fiancé returned to Florida quietly in her van it’s pretty hard not to assume.

Why didn't you tell us, Pops?
What needed to be said kid? No one wore masks myself included, it was great. Figured they’d tighten up their useless policy.

I figured this was coming after Sunday.

It sounds cliche, but a song of ice and fire is fantastic, although, who knows if it gets completed.
Dark tower series by Stephen King.
I started reading the first law trilogy and it is really good so far
I’m obsessed with the First Law Trilogy. If you like it you’ll also love the new Age of Madness Trilogy. Last book expected out later this year.- 1

So I got tickets for the Saturday, August 7th open practice at Highmark. I received a confirmation email from Ticketmaster, showing that I have the tickets. There is an option to "click here if you want your tickets texted to your phone". After doing that, it says I will receive my tickets, on my phone "shortly". Over 12 hours later, I have yet to receive any text. Anyone else run into this issue?
This happened to me for this past weekend’s practice. I never received the text and then went back in Saturday morning and tried it again. At that point I got an immediate text.- 1

I’m going to try to avoid this as much as possible. Anchoring unreasonable demands and threatening a viable substitute is negotiating basics. I don’t believe they will move the team, but it will be frustrating theater to watch.

Also Genesis, The Eagles, Nirvana, and Rush.
I’m with you on these. I do like Nirvana, but always preferred Alice in Chains when it came to Seattle grunge.- 2

I think Creedence and The Doors are relics of their era….also The Cars.
I have third degree burns from this hot take. Three of my favorite bands.
To answer the question I grew up loving to collect tapes and then eventually DVDs. I have very fond memories of going to Suncoast or Media Play with some extra money. Needless to say those haven’t aged well…

Wife and went to Hawaii 5 years ago. I pulled over at a banana bread stand outside Hana in Maui and the couple in front of us was from South Buffalo and immediately lit up when they saw my hat.
Definitely wasn’t expecting that.

........ she shouldn’t be able to compete individually after quitting on the team.

As much as I agree with him, but want him to chill out on social media, your post actually makes me respect what he’s doing a bit more…. The average Joe Worker doesn’t have the platform, or financial ability, to fight back against EUA vaccine mandates from their employer. The only chance they have is for high profile people to push back.
Neither do these players. There are hundreds in line behind them and I will watch no matter who is on the field, like most football fans.
If Cole wants to destroy his career over this he’s free to, but just don’t be a distraction from winning games. I’m hopeful he tones it down this week.

I’ve lost a lot of respect for Beasley, not because of his opinion, but for this highly public tantrum he is throwing. Welcome to the conundrum most normal working people face with their employers. Hopefully this is all squashed at training camp.

I don’t like it, but to be fair there was little upside for them. I feel like anything would be mocked by a large portion of the fanbase.

Wow really got after it on a Tuesday night. I’m assuming there was some alcohol involved.

I had a lot of fun watching last night. Good to have the whiney, bad attitudes off the team.
