What’s amusing to me is how many guys on this board (not you) feel the need to come to this thread to say how much they don’t enjoy the show, and the concerns about Pegula’s “involvement” are hilarious. Some of the posters on here really just don’t get it. At all.
Ehh I feel like the showrunners are the one’s not really getting the story here with this team. IMO focus should be on the veterans who have been so close about to try again.It’s still a TV show it needs compelling storylines.

I think it’s more likely that Beane doesn’t want to pay this market rate on Cook. Seems hard to believe Cook’s camp is so delusional based on his role and production as to expect a significantly higher contract than this Williams deal.

Nice that this contract should cut the BS on both sides. If something doesn’t happen quickly someone is very unreasonable on either side.

If you prefer an indoor environment for football and would have liked to see a roof fine, but save the terrible arguments about it being a missed economic opportunity for the region. Cat’s been out of the bag for a while how limited of an impact stadiums make.
Securing a new home for the team on a budget was a rare win for local leadership in my opinion.

Hard to see this team becoming a competitive franchise again with the clowns they have in charge. Hard to understand how a guy crying tears of joy when he bought the team is ok with his budget staff tanking the franchise over Microsoft Teams.

The story that came out a few years back confirmed everything I needed to know about Pegula. Where it was reported that, even with all the winning and success, he regretted signing so much control away to McD and Beane. You’ll never see me advocating for McD to be fired.

I think looking at Adams as anything more than a powerless yes man is a mistake. I doubt very much that he has a ton of real authority. The owner seems committed to doing nothing.

RIP Coach. I remember being hard on him, but now that I’ve seen real QB play feel kind of bad expecting him to win a Super Bowl with Trent Edwards.

They keep turning crop after crop of highly regarded prospects into soft teams so I still feel the problems are obviously larger. Wish I could be a fly on the wall for a month in the building to get a better beat on just how bad it is and why. They don’t have serious people in charge at any key position.
Most of my life the Sabres put out a competitive team despite Buffalo not being a destination city, uncertainty at owner, threats of moving, not a lot of money, etc. They always had at least a few serious hockey people in place though…

Congratulations to Josh!! I was engaged in him getting an MVP for his resume, but probably won’t care that much ever again. Lamar people caring so much about a third MVP when there’s been so little playoff success is weird.
