If you do not have a car, work two jobs and rely on public transit, then yes 10 miles is very far.

Ghost, no it’s not. Getting an ID isn’t a daily thing it’s a once every few years

do not tell me that person who can work two jobs and rides bus to Saudi jobs can’t make it ten miles somewhere.

This why those on the right don’t respect your views. They are stupid and made up scenarios.

You mean like the obvious ones you missed when you did your worst impression of Evelyn Wood? The hunting examples are clearly listed in those documents.

it’s their fantasyland, 10 miles is such a distance, poor minorities aren’t capable of getting an ID, college kids can’t use a a piece of plastic with their picture on it ohhhh the humanity!

There is zero reason that a law setting state standards for IDs shouldn’t also mandate that state school IDs meet those standards.

Unless the goal isn’t to have people vote.

Some states will accept a hunting license but not a school ID. I find that interesting.

There are entire counties with no place to get a state issued ID. In rural areas, that means people can have to travel significant distances to get one.

You have a link for that garbage you just posted?

Actually the issue is that when the GOP goes to institute voter ID laws, they do so in ways that ensures it disenfranchises voters they don’t like.

Sometimes they don’t allow student IDs, even at state schools because they don’t want college students voting.

Sometimes they shut down the DMV offices in majority minority areas so people have to travel to get an ID.

They’re not trying to stop the almost non-existent in-person voter fraud. They’re trying to make it just a little bit harder for “the others” to vote.

If they proposed a voter ID law that ensured that every American could easily obtain the required ID, it’d probably pass. But they don’t because that’s not what they actually want.

So a college ID is as secure form of ID as a state license and ID? You believe that? How many college students don’t have an ID anyway?

How far is the farthest someone has to travel to obtain an ID?

in Blackhat they have instructions and ways to buy or build comment profiles. but last I knew it was only twiter, Disquord, and other big social media sites. maybe.

Actually I don’t believe this is trolling. That poster has been on here for sometime. That poster is the example for what a liberal is.

Are there too many gun laws already?

    I love this!

Tibs: We need to Ban AR-15 to save lives

Comms: How is banning AR15 going to save lives

    Tibs: They just will

    Comms: Explain how

Tibs: Well the answer is self evident so it’s stupid to answer

Fine. Pretend I’m stupid, explain it to me as you would a child. How would banning the AR15 save lives?

When you suggest something won’t save lives it is.

ummm, maybe because it's not a definition.  more like a manifesto.

See if you were smarter you would know there is a manifesto that already describes those things I mentioned, it was written by Karl Marx.

what is the range of your AR?  Are you certain you never hit someone from your deck?

Is there an official MAGA dictionary?  Where can I get one?

And this is what makes you a load that should have been shot into a sock. You ask for a definition and get one with examples on this very board, and the go to is some MAGA something something something.

define commies.  be specific.  I defined MAGA's.  your turn.

A Commie is one who want removal of arms from its citizens. A commie is one that want children to be a ward of state not family.  A Commie supports the destabilization of the nuclear family.

A communist supports population control. A commie cheers on the persecution of a political opponent.

So far on this board I have seen the left leaning posters state, schools should control the children, Abortion should be legal up to birth, all guns should be banned and a misdemeanor that is past the statue of limitations becomes a felony is absolutely acceptable for an indictment.

You're replying to a chain of replies about banning AR-15s WTF are you talking about?

How would the goal not be to remove them? I suppose technically you can write a law in such a way as to grandfather in previous ownership but when the previous comment is as vague as "ban them" I don't really get into that detail.

Also there are a lot of different ways to enforce a ban beside peoples paranoid posse of a roving federal band going around and taking peoples guns. They can use buy-back programs, they can institute fines, they can enforce it as they see it, and obviously they'd ask people to turn them in, but yes also they could take more extreme measures.

    Why ban the AR 15?

Parents can have a say at school board meetings.

They should not be able to delete parts of the curriculum just because it hurts their feelings, like this law allows.

I think it’s a good idea, it’s a check system where subject matter can be reviewed and if needed added to or discarded. Again the example of common core comes to mind

Hmm, would I rather have education designed by people with PhDs and masters degrees in child psychology, education, arts, etc.

    or

Would I rather have education designed by Breighlynn, the high-school dropout mom of two with mild alcoholism and a belief that 5G towers cause autism?

Common Core. That’s all that has to be said about that.
