  1. Don't you dare go anywhere anytime soon. A dynasty team needs a Rockpile review. Turned 60 today and having a few health issues so these kind of thoughts have also entered my mind now. The Bills fan base is a special one. We have all been through so much together. The never give up, never say die attitude is part of who we are as a fan base. The never say die attitude is on full display by one of our most beloved sports figures. On full display again as Hunters Hope lives on forever. Thank you for this heart felt post and all the wonderful posts that you have given us.
  2. WR is clearly Josh Allens favorite target and Brian Dabolls favorite toy. I'm not sure the NFL has ever seen a QB that can stretch the field as far as Allen. So I say yes, absolutely find a way to keep players like Stevenson without losing another good weapon at the WR position.
  3. Nice Job Rubes/OP Quick question If I may, and I'll ask our on board Covid expert. With so many cases not reported, especially from our younger generation that may have experienced milder flu like symptoms. Can studies like this be trusted Hap?
  4. Ryan Fitzpatrick win/loss. 67 wins, 97 losses as a starter Mitch Trubisky. 29 wins, 22 losses What makes you think a winning QB as a starter is a below average backup? The one preseason game showed the Bears organization the mistake they just made IMO. Same mistake the Dolphins made and now the Titans have what some might consider a franchise QB. Ever think the coaching/system might make the difference between success and failure as a QB? From one season to the next high round draft choices may backup another signal caller as they adjust and develop into the system/NFL. So saying Trubisky is the best backup in the NFL at this point in time also remains to be seen IMO. Myself personally, Daboll can turn Trubisky into a franchise QB like he was meant to be when the Bears drafted him IMO. Time will tell... (On a side note I hope the Pegulas can find a way to keep Brian Daboll happy here in Buffalo)
  5. Show Love some Love Ice, I thought he played well Bills D was Stingy today...
  6. I'll bet the speedster Stevenson is vaxxed...
  7. My cousin helps me keep all the names and details memorized on the D side of things. Always been a bigger fan of the QB and O. So yes, measuring my fandom by my memory of every player/detail is a hard criteria for some to meet. I'm a die hard Bills fan. Born in Buffalo and been cheering them on since the days of number 32. My biggest childhood hero...
  8. Allen sees the field very well and one of the smartest QB's in the game. I do understand why people would worry because Josh Allen is also a big play maker at the QB position. I'm not sure its something you can turn off and on that easily. On the other hand going into a regular season game with less rust might help keep Josh Allen safer in the long run. I Billieve...
  9. Trubisky to Allen in the end zone!!!! The Bills are Superbowl Champions!!!!!
  10. The key to negotiating a longer deal and recieving better trade value IMO. The success of both Daboll as HC and Trubisky as starting QB has a much greater chance of happening by keeping them together IMO. Something both Daboll and Mitch Trubisky would in all likelihood agree on. Trubisky doesn't want to end up in another system under another coaching staff that doesn't work well for him.
  11. Yeldon > Brieda, and its not even close for me...
  12. I like the way you think Trubisky is a good investment for the Buffalo Bills because under Daboll his value will continue to increase IMO
  13. The level of potential warrants negotiating Trubisky into a longer contract so the Buffalo Bills can assist Brian Daboll in achieving success in his first tenure as HC. Giving the Buffalo Bills more control over the young signal callers future is a win, win, win, for all concerned IMO. After watching Trubisky play this provides the Buffalo Bills a very solid backup plan on the road to a Championship IMO. Nobody wants to see Daboll go, but its going to happen one day...
  14. Dabolls ability to get the best out of a QB really on full display today. Even Josh Allen had to be impressed with the command Trubisky showed of the Daboll O. (With backups)
  15. My pick is not currently active OP, but he's available right now and fits the Bill. Former 2nd round draft pick. Good hands coming out of the backfield. Already knows the Bills/Daboll O and would make a great 3rd down specialist IMO. T J Yeldon Seriously, If Breida doesn't show us a little something, something soon. BringYeldon back you Beane head.
  16. I like seeing the backups and rookies through preseason because thats where the more important decisions will take place IMO. Starters will get plenty of game play soon enough IMO. Lots of players on the opposition trying to earn a spot on their roster and a big hit on the QB looks good. Showcase Mitch Trubisky and Fromm a little and let them take the hits. I'm interested in seeing how well Trubisky can get the job done.
  17. Trubisky has proven he can win in the NFL for starters IMO. New system, groomed by Josh Allen. I'm not say there wouldn't be a better QB elsewhere. On the other hand it would not surprise me If after working with Trubisky for a season. Brian Daboll reaches a confidence and comfort level high enough to desire Mitch Trubisky's help with a new franchise. With all due respect Bill from NYC. ; )
  18. How many of these viruses you speak of since the dawn of time was was not naturally occuring? Life is precious and regardless of age groups or ones health it should be protected...
  19. Touche N95 does, follow the science...
  20. Walking around carrying the delta variant is the equivalent of walking around with a ticking time bomb IMO. You get that right? Are we allowed to walk the streets carrying highly radioactive material? Explosives? If I swallowed an explosive device does it make it legal? When what you do with your body kills my loved ones you must realize that its not fair to those of us that are doing everything we can to protect everyone around us including ourselves. The virus may have been engineered in a lab to do exactly what its doing. Do you suggest our goverment sits back and does nothing to protect its people? With all due respect.
  21. Shaw as excited as I am for the new season to begin. Myself personally, the run game and TE position was not addressed/upgraded as well as perhaps it should/could have been IMO. Najee Harris appeared to be within reaching distance. The Bills best fit in the pass catching T J Yeldon was sent packing IMO.??? Buffalo's main FA acquisition is a backup QB that has a greater chance of being called into action now because our biggest threat to run the football is still Josh Allen. Allen may have the best throwing arm the NFL has ever seen. Longevity would be nice. Adequate security blankets at the TE and RB position go a long ways in making it happen. With that being said our Bills football team is already sprinkled with greatness. Dare I even say elite at a few positions. None greater then Josh Allen. Thanks for a great Rockpile review to get our taste buds going my friend. Now lets Boogie woogie Basham our way to the big dance!!!
  22. Russ Brandon was an expert on inflicting pain. I'll give him that, like when he sent a veteran Oline packing so the holy Trent could get twisted up like a pretzel. Sprinkle in T O with a hurt toe for good measures. Love Ertzs...
  23. The Bills needed some kind of spark in the biggest game the franchise has seen in decades. QB and O that had been on fire all season was struggling. I realize its only one play and perhaps it wouldn't have even mattered. Point is Yeldon makes the big catch when called upon in the same game after sitting on the practice squad almost all season. The kind of catch Yeldon can routinely make. Better fit for the Bills O. Better all around player IMO. High hopes for the speedster Brieda...
  24. I feel the same about Singletary. T J Yeldon was drafted higher. Yeldon has more experience in the league, good size, catching abilities and knows the O. Championship caliber coaching at the college level and used as a do it all work horse for Saban. Not being drafted by the Beane head was Yeldons biggest problem IMO.
