I like Peterman a lot. But you need to judge his performances accurately.
We'll never know how he would have looked against the starters today. We can only evaluate what we have to look at. I could see him still being a turnover machine in the regular season. But I could also see Allen getting seriously injured if he's put in too soon. I'll take Peterman for now.

Yeah I counted 2 bad throws for Allen, both on consecutive plays. But about 4 or 5 solid throws including the great throw to Benjamin that should have been caught. And the run that should have been a 1st down. Unfortunately about 10 other plays that you can't evaluate him on.

Yeah and he gets rid of the ball faster which is good with this o-line. I'm still worried against a real defense his arm strength will lead to picks but you can't really argue that he hasn't won the job.

True but he looked good against the Panthers starters too. Peterman has been the best QB this offseason. I wanted Allen to win the job today but it didn't happen. He didn't necessarily lose it but Peterman won it.

I'm still not 100% sure on Peterman's arm strength but the offense is running better with him out there. He's been crazy accurate too.

Allen running back out with his helmet on. Maybe we'll see him again.

Allen's 2 best plays were ruined by a bad spot and a Kelvin Benjamin drop. No chance to build any momentum.

I just wanted a fair chance to evaluate Allen. What a waste.

I really want to see the all 22 of this game. I need to know if receivers aren't getting open. Allen's problem has never been hesitating to throw the ball so I would imagine that's the case.
