That fumble was also Allen's fault. Elite QBs sneak the ball into the bathroom to pump in more air.

This is hindsight bias at its worst. Lost in the discussion of the Sammy trade is that McDermott knew he would be drafting a QB this year and he didn't know what the draft would look like. They traded down for a 1st, and since Sammy wasn't in their long term plans they traded him for an extra 2nd. That gave them more ammunition to trade up for a QB which is the only thing that really mattered this year. Having a potential franchise QB is much more important than anything Sammy or Glenn could have offered us. If Allen becomes great no one will care.

This is my pick. Marquise Brown has fallen off for me. Too many concerns about his catch ability and I'm not sure speed is the missing piece for us right now. Harry appears to be elite at making difficult catches. I also would be happy with TE Noah Fant. Allen could be deadly with a huge weapon like him running seam routes.
