I don't really think they'll end up the #1 seed but the offense is legit and the schedule must be the weakest in the league. Tennessee snuck into the #1 seed a few years back under similar circumstances.
Lol are the Browns really going to win this? Nah I'm sure their FG kicker will miss even if they get close enough. They needed to pick that ball up and run it all the way back to have a chance.
I'm not even convinced Denver belongs in that conversation yet. Their defense has been disappointing considering how much talent they have and Bo Nix appears to have regressed.
Something has to give eventually. I get that teams are worried about getting even worse at the position, but that doesn't mean you should give mediocre QBs $50M AAV. You can get mediocre QB play from the likes of Daniel Jones or Sam Darnold for much cheaper.
A lot of analysts need to apologize for questioning Shane Steichen's decision to start Daniel Jones over Anthony Richardson. Turns out with even league average QB play their coaching and supporting cast is enough to create elite production.
Can't believe I'm saying this but Indy will be the only team to make the playoffs out of the AFCS. This Houston/Jacksonville game has been a battle of who wants it less.
I've been watching that game and Houston's OL is horrid. Stroud hasn't had a good season but today hasn't been his fault at all, he doesn't even have a chance back there. Just shocking that they traded Laremy Tunsil before the season and made the worst unit on their roster even weaker.
A lot of Jags fans on Twitter have been getting on him for his effort this year. Matt Harmon who was one of his biggest fans just tweeted this out:
Sounds like he had a great rookie season and decided that meant he's allowed to mail it in now.
Their offense is just shocking. Brown, Smith, Barkley, elite OL, and they're complete no shows so far. The scheme is so simple but is that the coaching or the QB?
