Yeah that’s crazy, but I am not shocked.

Hilariously, we scored a TD on that first drive out of halftime while Diggs watched from the sidelines. We dialed up a deep shot to him on the first play of the next drive to try and get his head back in the game, but Allen overthrew him.

You know what, now is a good time to spill the beans on what I was told earlier this year - In the home Patriots game, Diggs chose to sit out the first drive of the 2nd half because he was upset with Allen's play in the 1st half. It wasn't an injury or part of the game plan. He decided to screw over his team and sit out a drive because he couldn't get over himself.

I suspect other stories like this will come out in the coming days. A couple aren't mine to tell. Guy was a total headcase and a major distraction in more ways than one.

The Bills kept the issues under wraps for the most part. But anyone who knew someone close to the team was aware of his constant distractions, both in public and behind the scenes.

We started that 3rd Q by going 75 yards for a TD in 4 minutes.  Diggs was not on the field.

Yup. I hope that watching it from the sidelines in the midst of his tantrum made him feel stupid. But knowing his personality I'm sure it didn't change a thing in his ego poisoned mind.

I text my friend that after the long bomb TD catch, Diggs just high 5 teammates and jogged off the field….I said something is up.  Diggs didn’t seem into it anymore.

Yeah that's the punchline of the whole thing - The ensuing drive they intentionally dialed up a deep shot to Diggs on the first play to get his head back in the game. Allen overthrew him 🤣

Funny part is that even with this trade, people won’t believe that his cryptic tweets were messages. They simply won’t get it.

Yup. A lot of people buried their head in the sand. I'm still shocked this actually happened, but the signs have been there for a while and continued this offseason.

Gregg over at Cover 1 must be in shambles.

He parrotted all year that Diggs was a must or likely restructure this year.

A lot of people on here and in the Bills content creation sphere just refused to accept what everybody else could see with their own eyes.

  8. Ugh here we go again with the media making something out of nothing! Sure Adam Schefter himself tweeted out that Diggs is being traded but he's probably just reading into tweets. This is a nothing burger. Allen said he loves Diggs. Beane said he'll be on the team. I for one can't wait to see Diggs rocking the Bills red white and blue this September.

  9. With the 22nd pick, the Philadelphia Eagles select Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson. Minnesota @Motorin' is on the clock.

This is a case where BPA and need happen to match up perfectly. Darius Slay and James Bradberry are both on the wrong side of 30. Our secondary was the clear weakness on the team last year.

Wiggins projects as a true #1 island CB at the next level. And with established veterans on the roster his development doesn't have to be rushed.

But I don't take him saying he feels it's incorrect to say he's not important to Josh's success as some major "not cool" slap in the face.

The fact that you had to re-word what he said kind of tells on itself, yeah?

I've never seen another WR claim they are "essential" to their QB's success. Let's call this what it is.

I still think he'll be on the team. My patience with his act is just totally worn thin at this point.

This brings up a good question. Are we supposed to draft like we would or like we think the team will?

I try to do a mix of both. For the Jets for example I personally would draft a QB in the 1st round, but knowing that the current regime is on the hot seat I would not choose a QB if I was picking for them.

His record the past few years is not great. Loved Drew Lock. Loved Zach Wilson. High on Kellen Mond. High on Matt Corral.

Yeah he has a type. He likes QBs with great physical traits and a great release. He bets on those traits and ends up wrong like 50% of the time. But I really can't remember a time when he was too low on a QB. Even Trevor Lawrence who he was lower on than others, I don't think the "generational prospect" label has come close to being true. So when Simms says he is lower than the consensus on a QB that is when I place more weight on his opinion.

I think people are going to be surprised when Drake Maye slips out of the top 3 and possibly even out of the top 10.  He has bust written all over him.

I would be really surprised if he fell out of the top 3. But one thing going against him is Chris Simms ranked him as his #6 QB in the class. Some will roll their eyes at this, but while Simms has been too high on a couple QBs (most notably Zach Wilson) I can't remember a time where he ended up being too low on a QB. He seems to have a great eye for identifying mechanical issues that will lead to limited success in the NFL.

  14. I would like WR Jha'Quan Jackson, Tulane, in round 6 or 7. He's Ed Reed's nephew. What I like about him is that if you're thinking of a depth WR who gets maybe 12 targets in an entire season you want someone that can create explosive plays with those limited reps. His acceleration and vertical traits give you that. There is some upside there that maybe he could turn into a productive slot/vertical receiver after a year or two of development. Most importantly for a late round sleeper he could immediately contribute on special teams as a kick and punt returner, under a new set of rules where that skill set matters maybe more than ever.

NFL pedigree, explosive traits, special teams contributions. That's all you can ask for out of a late round flyer.

  15. Derrik Klassen with Bleacher Report, whose opinion I really respect, wrote up his top 16 WR prospects:

He breaks down what makes each of the prospects special in their own right. It's a fantastic read.

    His list in order:

    1. Marvin Harrison Jr

    2. Rome Odunze

    3. Malik Nabers

    4. Keon Coleman

    5. Brian Thomas Jr

    6. Jalen McMillan

    7. Roman Wilson

    8. Ja'Lynn Polk

    9. Xavier Worthy

    10. Ladd McConkey

    11. Adonai Mitchell

    12. Jermaine Burton

    13. Xavier Legette

    14. Malachi Corley

    15. Troy Franklin

    16. Ricky Pearsall

Is this real? Or an April fools he quit halfway through life joke?

I did check to make sure it wasn't a sick April Fools joke, but no it's real. The news article confirms it. And his former college coach is the one that broke the news.

A death investigation is underway after a body was found at a residence in Southwest Ranches.

Davie Police and the Broward County Medical Examiners Office arrived at the scene in the area of Southwest 178th Avenue, Monday morning.

Police said that a male was found deceased at the home. No foul play was involved, police said, as they continue to investigate.

According to property records, the home is owned by Adaline Davis, who is former Miami Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis’ grandmother.
