  1. I have been almost making this thread for 2 weeks but didn't want to be rude. I truly appreciate that there was another option and I appreciate the hospitality...but it's not the same. The Bills had no need to take that site down. They could have just left it and put the members in charge of doing the upkeep monitoring. It makes me sick that they took it away. I don't know how to even explain it, but I somehow feel like less of a fan without it. We were so plugged in to everything that was going on. I never went an hour without checking it. Now I feel so disconnected. The old members should just create it again the same just minus the Bills site affiliation. This place is close and in it's defense it is the offseason, but home is home. I have felt like it would be out of place to make this thread, but I'm glad someone else did.
  2. This offense is seeming to be a short pass, quick hitter, get the ball in a place for run after catch and get the ball into versitle playmakers hands underneath...that might not be the strength of Tyrod. But it might be the strength of some other Bills QBs. Obviously we will adapt to the players we have, I just picture something different then what Tyrod seems to want to do. I guess we will see what happens once the pads come on.
  3. TJ Yates has won more playoff games then the bills have in the last 21 years....I'm not saying he's going to win the job, but Yates is not bad. If Tyrod can't start to use the whole field or wants to tuck it and run whenever the play starts to break...Yates or Peterman may sneak up on him. when we handed EJ a starting job and purposely created no competition for it....Although that backfired because even the scrubs outplayed him when given a chance.
  4. I have a gut feeling Peterman is going to end up being pretty good. No actual reason for it, just old school gut
  5. Can any of those guys be a long snapper?
  6. I think we might be under estimating how much Tolbert is going to be a part of this offense. I think we see alot more of him then people seem to expect.
  7. I would love to have Byrd back. He never should have left. Would be perfect as a center fielder back at the Ralph in the zone we will play.
  8. Whiten will probably call Romo multiple times just to hear his voice. The cowboys are contenders, not sure if that counts
  9. Kapernick and Cutler are terrible. If a team wants to call them, go ahead. I hope it's a team we play more then once. Both of those guys are completely finnished. Romo is done. If he wanted to still play, he would be playing. Guy will get paid almost the same to not get hit and not get blamed for losses. None of those guys are going to be anything. Maybe Kap to compete for a backup job on some scrub team
  10. I would love to have V Jackson here. Follows the mold of the bigger WR and if Sammy goes down we at least have a guy that has been a legit #1 WR. Or maybe we could roll the dice on Sammy not staying healthy. Go Jackson and Jones on the outside, with Holmes in the slot and trade Sammy for a LB. I know that wouldn't be a popular move, but if the Bills are afraid of the guys injury history, I would understand it.
  11. I don't care who the GM is. It's pretty obvious that McDermott is going to have his hands on everything. The GM might as well just be a cap ologist
  12. Just hire a cap specialist as GM and let McDermott run the personnel department
  13. we are tired of the CB cycle. Draft a CB in round 1. When he gets good, don't pay him, draft another one in round 1 to replace him and repeat over and over. Never getting any better by doing that. Just hoping to stay the same.
  14. Watkins Jones Holmes Brown Tate
  15. at least you can take comfort in knowing your football team is always competitive....
  16. Great story. Great season. Congratulations to a crafty vet. Reward for hard work and resilience. Proud to still have you on the team. All class
  17. I used to watch sports center every day. Now it's just to easy to already know what happened. I used to love around the Horn but again...when they are beating the same stories all day, you don't want to see them again at 5. They should try and get back into Nhl and NASCAR. They certainly have the money to get some professional sports back. During the regular season college basketball is on every single espn channel at the same time. Who watches regular season college basketball? They are putting on garbage that nobody watches like soccer and regular season college sports. Less talk shows, more games
  18. Feels to me like a mix between Trevor Simein, Jay Fiedler and Sam Bradford
  19. he keeps getting answers that disprove his comment but then has to on the fly come up with qualifiers to avoid defeat. Drew Brees doesn't have a rocket arm either but if I say him, wearing gold helmets wouldnt have been allowed.
  20. I think people over estimate how often a QB has to drive the ball deep down field. Most of today's league is short timing routes. If this offense looks the way I expect it to, this kid could be perfect for it. I have never in my life been excited for a QB the bills have drafted....I really like this guy though
  21. if he doesn't count then let's just not even keep going with that. You pretty much said no QB with a weak arm can win. A QB with the weakest arm in recent memory just won a Super Bowl. That's really the end of it.
  22. peyton manning literally had the weakest arm in the nfl 2 years ago and won the Super Bowl. Want me to keep looking for more or can we just leave it at the 2nd most recent occurrence of championing and just move on?
  23. I would rather deal with a QB that may have lower level arm talent but plus accuracy and awareness...then deal with another a guy with a strong arm but has no clue how to play the position. How often do the raw QBs win anything? Those guys always get you excited and end up never changing. If you don't understand fundamentals by the time you are in the pros, your career will be over before you learn them.
