  1. I am ok with this. He has shown ability. The correct coaching staff can do wonders. Lets just watch this play out.
  2. thats an idea but not good for my situation. its a big room and there is a door way involved. the wall i want to cable on runs straight down to the basement. the bedroom is on the 2nd floor. how expensive of a job would it be to hire someone to run a new cable outlet? does the cable company offer these services?
  3. So I am putting a tv into my masterbedroom and inconveniently the cable outlet is located on the opposite side of the room of where i want my tv to be. My question is, is there any easy solution such as a wireless device that i could plug into the outlet or cable box that could send the signal to the tv? Basically I am trying to avoid having to somehow snake a new cable line through the walls. I figure it is 2010 and this technology has to exist. Any ideas please? Thanks!
  4. what the hell is going on in this thread?
  5. Im in the market for a 60 in plasma. I have narrowed it down to the LG PK550 60 in. My question is should i wait until closer to football season when deals should be better?
  6. take the subway!
  7. yes please ruin the remake with tracy morgan.
  8. I dont even speak of that movie. It has been years since I have seen it but the haunting images have been burned into my brain.
  9. I would love for WECK and Riter to overtake Schopp and the crap that is spewed on that station!
  10. Chef you hit the nail on the head. I am not financially savy and I dont need to act like I am. I went to school to be a pharmacist not a CPA. I dont know about annuities and I wouldnt expect my CPA to know about Moxatag. I believe in paying for professional advice but, advice that benefits my financial goals and not what is in the best interest of the advisor. I guess from the info I gathered from this thread I will avoid the bank financial planner and sit back down with the one who did my 401k originally.
  11. I actually dont know.
  12. Also my company does offer a service offered by financial engines that you basically give control of your 401k to them and they make adjustments and take out a percentage based on the value of the 401k. The larger it grows the higher the percentage.
  13. Basically someone using my money for their own benefits and not for the best interest of my financial future.
  14. Right now I am 27 and married. I have been investing into my 401k at the max the government will allow me and my wife is as well (she is 29). I also contribute 8% to my employers stock purchase plan because I am currently making nearly 12$ for every share I purchase (of course that will change with the next offering period). My 401k was set up 2 years ago by a financial planner that was a relative of a friend and hasnt been altered since. I liked him but he worked for AXA which is a real big investing company which most likely means I would some how be getting screwed. That is the extent of my investing.
  15. when dealing with a fee-only advisor, do u know how much a general fee is? And how often do you have to meet? Just curious. I would actually feel more comfortable paying an upfront fee rather than a percentage.
  16. i know. thats the way i feel. but i dont really think i can adequately manage mine and my wifes.
  17. Do any of you use the financial advisor at your local bank? I would really like to consult with someone but I am just extremely paranoid about who to trust. I've consulted with a bigger financial institution a few years back but I feel that they are scoring serious cash off of their investors. I dont really know who to trust and I have talked with the Branch Financial Planner at Citizens Bank but have yet to make a serious appointement. Thoughts...recommendations? And no I am not going to give my money to any of you to invest...
  18. Trust me, if you see what I see on a daily basis as a pharmacist, you would understand that it is a big deal. These addicts will go to any lengths to obtain these meds. Neglect their children and families. It is sad. So please don't undermine this topic with shear ignorance.
  19. I always thought Sean Payton's face always looked run-down as if he were addicted to drugs.
  20. Of course he did. Smoke screen my friend!
