Yes. I honestly thought they'd show better. both McDermott and Dennison had things they needed to show. McD being his first itme HC. Dennison because he's FINALLY out from the shadow of Shannihan and Kubiak. but so far, it's been a bit mixed despite the low quality of the opponent.
