Probably so. Others here have strong justification for why no WR last year or this year. He chose not to use these and instead went on the attack. That approach and his premise I don’t really care for or but, whether he’s ultimately right or not.
-
His premise is even more flawed because Beane is touting points per game, which is a total offense stat. What % of yards and points did the WR group account for last year? Of the 3RBs, 3 TEs, and Josh Allen, did they under or overperform? Disclaimer I don’t know what % is “good” but he should know, and tout it to defend his position.

This wreaked of Beane hiding behind his impenetrable shield of drafting Josh Allen and using it to deflect any criticism. Bringing up Rosen? Please. No one thought JA would be what he is now and that includes McBeane. He then comes off as a major hypocrite because he hosts a WR the same day he says they’re all good. Didn’t yesterday he himself say he was surprised he didn’t draft a WR? Major deflection. Just say you think it’s a solid room and if it isn’t then we’ll address it.

JA wins MVP without Daboll so maybe he didn’t do squat? -
I think this is it too. He’s trying to hit HRs with guys flying under the radar, that most teams are passing on, trying to find his diamond in the rough ala J Allen. See Elam, Kincaid, Rousseau, Oliver and Edmunds. None of these guys are stud game changers but all are or will be serviceable starters somewhere for years. We need more game changers!

I think if he doesn’t touch the face mask there’s no flag -
It’s not worse it’s just more stress inducing. Every game is significant and becomes more so over the course of the season. In many ways it’s less fun because of that. Before, when we lost to the Jags we’d shrug our shoulders and go ape 💩 if we beat the Packers. There was more opportunity for fun during the drought—higher lows and higher highs. Now our expectations are so high the lows are lower and so are the highs.

Absolutely. The opposite of the madman during the Rams game.

Yes a TO and new play but then Spags goes man to man and ruins that one too. Point is our coaches and QB are not on the level to predict what KC does effectively and constantly walk into traps. The only way to combat it is get more talented than them at key positions. That’s how Josh beats KC in the regular season—he out talents the right defensive call.
-
There was a shot of him coming off the field on a time out and I said “oh 💩 that’s glassy eyed Josh, he’s not the one we need to win this.” He wears his heart on his sleeve so you can easily tell which Josh is in-game.
-
I agree with the OPs sentiment. But it’s doubly frustrating when opposing QBs essentially have to have the game of their season to beat you AND they always do!!! See yesterday and LA Rams. The theory of McD’s D doesn’t match its practice and pairs poorly with our offensive philosophy. If you really distill down why it’s likely due to piss poor DL play throughout his tenure. They have not hit on the DL yet despite throwing a ton of assets there. It’s killing them.

Joe Brady and Aaron Kromer had a rough night

This is a typical loss in that when the coords made the right call it wasn’t executed AND when they made a bad one the players did just enough to keep going. We needed more from both tonight. -
Dude the orbit to Shakir was wide open away from pressure but Josh starts running backward like an idiot instead. Would of gotten us in FG range immediately.

Last 2 years v KC we were down 3 and given the ball to win it in regulation. The offense failed both times to even tie it.
