To me, the WR catches the ball legally in the field of play and then in this instance, makes a football move to break the plane of the GL with the Football. Just like an RB! Now Dungy is correct- shoulda tucked it after, because of the lame ass interp. Henry didn’t because he was trying to spike the GL on the way down to ensure the TD… not the catch. Which he DID… AGAIN! That there is the slightest movement when he does and therefore the catch is DQed, is total bull####!

VERY few of us are turning on Allen! Nada wrong in pointing out a few bone headed decisions. Moreso with Dorsey or whatever WR of the week is dropping balls! Despite all, we expect that hurculean laser from Allen to Diggs with 23 ticks and we get it!

Here’s what I’m thinking. For a 1/2 century, I’ve watched the NFL. Let me be generous in saying that when you only have 23 ticks left until OT, EVERY team kneeled it. Now, with the Allens & Mahomes of the world, only a timeline of less than 10 seconds is virtually safe against going 50-65 yards in that time to win the game! Today, as Romo has opined, nothing is safe against these magicians! It’s no longer that you think it’s a remote possibility, rather it’s a logical result! An expectation. Never before.

At Season’s end, when everybody whines about those terrible clunkers against the Fish, Jets & Vikes- snatching defeat from the Jaws of Victory, remember THIS one! 👍
