  5. ...Soup. T'will be up to Euhus and Neufeld to soldier on in Soup's absence.
  6. Bart, you don't have to leave campus...what about your women's "football" coach? Just won an NCAA title, so all is not lost in South Bend, right? There's your #1 candidate!
  7. Yes. That said, the Bills must focus on the Browns first and foremost.
  8. Naturally. What yahoos those South Florida media are. Always trying to rationalize their teams' faults without giving due credit to the opposition. Color on Monday following a Felon loss...that's a step up.
  9. ...I'm just glad that game is at Ralphie's. Our Heroes will need all the 12th Man support they can muster.
  10. ...dib, what's the answer? Did the Scum Sentinel revert to b/w mode Monday?
  11. ...it will be a tall order for the Bills to win that one. The Steeler defense is very good--they swarm to the ball. And the Bills had better pick up the blitz or Bledsoe will be on his back a lot. Farrior is having a Pro Bowl season and Mr. Hair (Polumalu) isn't bad, either. The guy on the line that has to be neutralized is also one of my alltime favorite names: Kimo von Oelhoffen. Big Ben's play has been well-documented, and frankly, the Bus has run like the Bus of old. But those Steeler wideouts are all playmakers--Ward, Plexiglas and especially Randle-El. A dangerous trio. Regardless of whether the Bills have something to play for 1/2, that will be a toughie.
  12. 'Cuse had one of those nights, but cheer up SU fans. Your team's 7-1. Dem Bonnies are 0-6 and headed for oblivion. They can't even beat one of the low-end Ivy League teams (Cornell), at home no less. The BIG DONUT might not be farfetched where that woebegone team is concerned.
  13. The NFC. The Snow White Iggles and the 15 Dwarfs.
  14. Ol' Bry! What a guy.
  15. ...Bills are still long shots in the scheme of things. Provided they do their part vs. Cleveland & Frisco, it comes down to the Bungles & Steelers. The game in Cinci 12/19 likely will tell the tale.
  16. P is the Wayne Fontes (aka Rasputin) of college football: You can't kill him off!
  17. Hermie (aka Rick Neuheisel) Donner Comet Red polka dots Fireball "I'm independent" The squirt gun fired off some kind of gooey substance (not water) The train's caboose had square wheels Bumbles can't swim Peanut butter
  18. Denver is vulnerable right now. Champ's been a chump of late. The Bronx are gettable. Still, provided the Bills beat the Browns next week, the Cinci outcome will determine whether Our Heroes stay in the hunt or not. It's shaping up to be a huge game for both the Bills and Bungles.
  19. Oh, right now the Bronx are going in the tank. Those were two crushing division losses in succession (Faiders & Bolts). Some real dubious playcalling by Shanahan late in that game.
  20. ...forget the Dog-Ass Jets. They're in, for all intents and purposes. Looking good for a #5 seed right now. Denver, Baltimore, Jax, Cinci and Our Heroes. Five teams to battle for the final spot. For the first time tonight (drum roll please), I saw the Bills included among playoff contenders on ESPN's Pitt-Jax game.
  21. ...that is WILD (card)! dunno if the Jints can beat the Nevermores, they're dropping like flies. If the Bears compete as they did today, they could give Jax a go. Would be a serious reach for Dieami to win at Denver but the other two scenarios are favorable. Still, Bills have to keep the mo going and do their part next week at home vs. the Brownies.
  22. ...and he's cool as a cuke. Can't rattle this kid. He's efficient...and he wins. The key stop was on that 3rd and 2 prior to the Jax FG at the 2-minute warning. If they convert, the Jags could have run the clock all the way down and kicked the game-winner at the gun. 'preciate the gift tonight, Steelers. But man, I hope that 1/2 game at Ralphie's will count for something where the Bills are concerned.
  23. ...and who kicked the game-winner at the end? Our ol' pal, (don't come back) Shayne Graham!
  24. ...what was the deal with Teague on that hold? Good call or not? Crap. Wiped out a good play.
