Free Agency News and Updates - around the league
MAJBobby replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I definitely would give Taco Charton a spot on the 90 and bring him into camp and see what he can do. I do think he would make the 53 -
Can our #2 WR consistently beat one on one coverage
MAJBobby replied to Old Coot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brown was un-Coverable at times with Nothing On the other side of Him. so please Leave Brown 1V1 with the Second Beat CB on a team and watch what happens. the Question is and Will remain until he Does. Can Josh Allen take that Next Step to become a top end QB? -
NFL Unveils League Office Pay Cuts, Furloughs
MAJBobby replied to Lurker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah we had a round of 25% Furloughs. Pretty high actually for a Defense Contractor that won’t 1B work of work that starts this year. But then again we really don’t start getting paid on those contracts until 2021 -
It absolutely is low class going after someone because of their Last Name. There is NOTHING in that that says he isn't qualified or performing as the Pegulas want him to perform. your only dig is his brother. yeah that is PRETTY FREAKING LOW CLASS.

So lets see what out of this experience says he is Not a good Lawyer Student Intern - University of Miami Athletic Business Department Club Services Intern - NFL (all NFL Teams) - Reviewed sponsorship and licensing agreements for all 31 NFL Member Clubs and drafted the NFL Member Club Marketing Commitments for the 1999 NFL season. Management Council Law Clerk - NFL Intellectual Property Associate - Howery Attorney Akerman Senterfitt Vice President & General Counsel - XOS Digital Vice President Executive Counsel - Bills You have not pointed at ONE SINGLE thing other than being a Brother to Russ.... Really does already sound personal. Also it is pretty freaking Low Class to go after someone because of who they are related to. How would you like losing your job because your Brother was a Sleezeball.

Seems his credentials are FINE. As he survived an ownership change and a Family member firing. Don't look to far you will see Overdorf still on staff too. So far you have Posted NOTHING about Gregg except he is Brandon's Brother.... Yeah that sounds plenty Personal enough
-
How about he is a Freaking Attorney that has his own credentials and apparently those credentials have kept him here through an ownership change. So again two challnges. 1. What has he done to warrant a firing (besides be someones family member) 2. In 2018 (article you posted) where is there any indication Gregg Brandon was in hot water Sorry you seem to have a H.O. for the Brandon Family Name
-
So has Gregg Brandon done anything to warrant a firing? If not why would they fire him. Also would it not be prudent to use an outside counsel to investigate a Family member of your inside counsel for if nothing more than Transparency and Perception issues.

At some point people have to stop worrying about the other teams because we are good enough to beat them. There isnt but maybe two teams in the AFC that I worry about matching up against, and the Patriots are not one of them (Even with Dalton or Cam). Now Rogers gets traded there, maybe I have a different outlook (but that isnt happening this year either)
-
We might think of him as a Better BU than Hoyer, I dont think the Patriots do. Hoyer knows that system like the back of his hand

23 Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama There is my way to early first round pick.

Jersey Numbers for the new guys
MAJBobby replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I will never buy a Rookie Jersey until they are on the team a year, but then they likely have the number they want and wont get hammered with a Number Change -
Maybe, I just don't see it. Does Dalton make this team a SB contender? I don't think it does. So why delay the evaluation of Stidham before the 2021 draft. This team needs a reset, I guess it comes down to BB ego allowing that reset
-
Here is what they are saying on the Pats board https://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/bengals-release-qb-andy-dalton.1152293/ How if in order to do it will Cost you Gilmore and Sanu, or Thurney and Sanu
-
I don't care about a fan base that 50% will be gone in 2 years, heck I am guessing 10% have already jumped ship
-
They have that. They are in transition and need to see what their 4th round QB has, so they can decide what to do in 2021 draft. Dalton doesn't help their evaluation of that. If anything it makes the team Worse be the cap moves that would have to be done to fit his contract
-
They are an old Roster. and a High Cap % tied into those older players. So if they are looking at their Roster and thinking yeah he need to make one more run before blowing it up then doing what they can to get a QB makes sense (Dalton isnt that QB). They need to go through a reset. and fix their Cap. That should start this year, and Dalton or any other QB signing for that matters delays that to be what 8-8
-
Another thought is the Best pick is the ones they didnt. 2 times Beane said he was trying to trade up - Didnt happen 1 time Beane said an offer to move back that included a future pick (didnt make the move)
-
They are. Really what does Dalton offer to the Patriots that their Draft and Developed for a year QB doesn't? I have yet to see that posted to all these Dalton to Pats posts
