  1. It doesn't really matter. I see a lot of people arguing about the ratings on social media, so it's become some sort of weird stand-in for whether Trump really has a lot of support or not. With voting right around the corner in IA and NH, we'll know soon enough.
  2. The one on FBN? Not surprising. But last night was still the 2nd-lowest rated debate of this cycle. The pre-Iowa caucus debate, on the mothership Fox News, WITH Trump probably would've done 20 million viewers, imo
  3. Bowtie Tucker Carlson with a devastating critique of movement conservatism: http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/01/donald-trump-is-shocking-vulgar-and-right-213572?o=0 Lots of other goodies in there
  4. And Reagan lost to Bush in Iowa. Of course, that was pre-internet, pre-cell phone, pre-cable news (for a few more months) Will be interesting to see how it plays out on Monday.
  5. http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/638861/Cologne-sex-attacks-video-woman-screaming-rape-Germany VIDEO: Harrowing footage of screaming women in Cologne main square emerges THE harrowing screams of a woman piercing the New Years Eve night in Cologne’s city square have emerged in a chilling video released in the wake of the sickening sex attacks in the Germany city.
  6. That's actually an interesting take. What do propose when record levels of immigration no longer divorce you from the rest of the world, and the newcomers don't assimilate or even try to? No, I don't it's hardcoded in you to be a libertarian, lol. But I *do* think that if you continue to import populations that have 85 IQ, they most likely are not going to be productive, will most likely need handouts, and will have to vote to secure those handouts. The only way Republicans are going to win the Latino or Middle Eastern vote is to offer more handouts than the Democrats, which defeats the purpose of being an opposition party. The Democrats are actually in-your-face about their plans to use demographics to make the country more left-wing. "Demographics are destiny," they will openly say. It's not about ideas anymore to them. They don't have to win the argument. They just need populations that depend on handouts to continue voting for handouts, which is a slam dunk. This doesn't even account for the advantage they have in persuasion, being in control of education, news media, and entertainment media. The Constitution and free markets can't solve this dilemma, unfortunately. They will actually become the casualties of this dilemma. The only thing that can save this country is to have the white birthrate be much greater than the Latino birthrate, Middle Eastern birthrate, and black birthrate. (That's the non-violent solution). Policies need to be instituted to make it happen.
  7. lol, such a long post. I'll have to reply in sections. First, you do realize that there are probably a dozen different representations of the political spectrum, right? None of them has the authority to call itself the "correct" one. I'm a traditionalist that likes to use the original left-right spectrum where left means egalitarian and the right opposes that. I can deal with modern representations of the spectrum as long as it maintains the egalitarian aspect of it as central. See, I'm almost certain that you're the type of libertarian / conservative who would say that Hitler is left-wing. Am I wrong about that? I bet you I pegged you right, didn't I? If Hitler is left-wing, then left and right means nothing anymore.
  8. Ah yes, the retarded "horseshoe theory" The Right-Left spectrum gets misused a lot but it's really just about where you stand with regard to egalitarianism. The original right-wingers were pro-monarchy, and so from that standpoint, they probably see most Americans as left-wingers since I assume most believe in a representative republic. American conservatism is actually left-wing in many ways. Cuckservatives like you think that brown and black people across the world are "natural conservatives." Take Somalia, give them a copy of the U.S. Constitution and some videos of Milton Friedman, let simmer for 100 years, and it'll be exactly like America. That's why we should totally import lots of Somalis into places like Minnesota where they'll totally vote Republican one day, lol. Natural conservatives, just like Mexicans.
  9. There are obviously more Republicans than Democrats in Trump's coalition even though, yes, he does have crossover appeal. lol, why is that even a debate? As for whether he's conservative, the answer is No, based on how "conservatism" is commonly understood in this country. But Trump is very right-wing, similar to Europe's far-right candidates. It's one of those things where Rubio is more conservative than Trump, but Trump is more right-wing than Rubio.
  10. That's a straw man since I've already said I'm not conservative and neither is Trump, at least according to how most people understand "conservative" to mean. There IS an argument that he's paleoconservative, which is why Phyllis Schlafly and Pat Buchanan endorse him. But, eh, nobody supporting him really cares. For some reason, cuckservatives wear their label proudly even though they haven't conserved a damn thing over the past 20 years, fiscally or socially.
  11. At least you now concede that he can win the presidency. A few weeks ago, that was an impossibility to you because the media would call him names or something. I'm wearing you down, LABillz. In a few months, you're going to be volunteering for Trump's Deportation Froce
  12. Yes. Plus, he's right about National Review. In any case, I don't think you know enough about my politics to just assume that any other Republican would do for me. It's not like I like Rubio's policies but I want to punish the GOP by voting for Trump or something. I've said this before. Cruz could be the compromise candidate. My sense of it is that most Trump supporters would vote for Cruz. Do everything in your power to support Cruz if you can't stand Trump but you want to keep the coalition together to defeat the Dems.
  13. Trump's platform is essentially paleoconservatism, which is the enemy of neoconservatism. Paleoconservatives such as Pat Buchanan and Phyllis Schlafly have already endorsed him. Trump's an America Firster, not an Israel Firster.
  14. lol, is this article a joke? http://newobserveronline.com/sweden-state-funded-muslim-sniper-training/ no, right? amazing!
  15. Cruz: ¡ayayayay arriba! Rubio: ¡chinga tu madre!
  16. Is this an active Muslim situation, or has everything resolved?
  17. Yeah, I really liked the film, too. It's not like the producers weren't aware of the similarities. They are "in on the joke" or "paying homage," however you want to put it. I didn't like Finn, but otherwise it was really good. Poe Dameron should be Rey's love interest. Hopefully she keeps Finn in the friend zone.
