  1. Bills rookie TE Dawson Knox has "already impressed" during spring practices.

Knox (6'4/254) was the Bills' No. 96 overall pick this past draft after posting a 4.58 forty at the Combine. His speed has been on display at OTAs and Josh Allen has praised Knox's familiarity with the playbook. Historically, it's been rare for rookie tight ends to produce, but Knox should at least see a healthy amount of snaps with little ahead of him on the depth chart.

This looks like a list made by people in their 20’s who were trying to select songs that people in their 50’s would listen to. Kind of trite.

Or "best classic rock songs, chosen by casual listeners of classic rock".  Same difference, I suppose.

I hate hearing the intro to Werewolves of London and then realizing that it's Kid Rock's abomination, All Summer Long.

I fell for that the first time I heard that song.  "This is a classic", I announced to my friends, and then it was Kid Rock.  I had to call it a night.

I got a fun druggy lady story that was pretty recent

We recently hired a girl for an office job who was more than qualified based on her resume(which turned out to be total BS).

She was pregnant and on her first day she got up and said "well Imma go for a smoke break" , so we all looked at her funny amd she said "oh don't judge as if it was a joke".

Everything about her was disastrous but she somehow lasted a couple of month, but her days were clearly numbered. Then one day she got up frantically right before my break and asked to switch breaks with me because she has to "run out". I already had a feeling this was drug related but moved on with my day.

Later that same day she got fired for just being bad at her job. So we go to check her email to see if we need to follow up with anything and .......... This dumb B was ordering drugs with the COMPANY EMAIL!!! I couldn't beleive my eyes. She was emailing her dealer stuff like " oh that last rock was so good, got anymore of that rock..." .. And let me remind you she was pregnant.

Her behaviour did start making a lot more sense though

My first job out of college involved doing customer service for a satellite TV company.  They hired a young single lady around the same time who was ~6 months pregnant.  It wasn't a great paying job, but it was easy & came with benefits, so it seemed like a pretty good score for her to land a job where she could work a couple of months & go on maternity leave.  She just couldn't/wouldn't do it.  Most days she would get up and leave a few hours early, saying "that's enough for today".  Not wanting to lose pay for the hours she was missing, she then started adjusting the clock on her computer to quitting time & clocking out for the day.  They fired her, at which point she probably filed a discrimination / wrongful termination suit & spent her days complaining about how unfairly she had been treated.  I don't think drugs were involved; I think she was just a dumbass.

I’d say Crack, Meth, or the new one out is K2

I heard crack & meth have chemical smells, but I don't think it's common for people to put those in cigarettes (unlike angel dust).  It was definitely not K2 I was smelling.

    Lorenzo ...Oliver ... McCoy ...Hughes

       Milano .... edmunds .... Joseph

get after them.  Get some turnovers.

Love it, but I don't think they'd have 3 LBs on the field in that situation.  Joseph would make way for an extra DB.

No kidding.  Here's a video from our 2014 war room, queued up to the part where Overdorff starts working the phones to try to make a trade.  LMFAO!

gore isn't exactly a hidden secret as you want to make him out to be.  i like gore.  a lot.  he's had a great career, and i wouldn't be surprised if he's a larger part of the production the mccoy.  i have no idea if mccoy was hitting a wall last year, or it his play was a result of very bad line play.  we'll see.  on top of that, what if singletary ends up with the bulk of production?  does it really matter?  i just want the run game to move the ball and help josh out.  where the production comes from doesn't matter to me at all.  nor does it for the gm.  they're all pushing each other to be the starter, so yes...what beane said was just off season nonsense.

are you sure this isn't more about mccoy with you?  didn't you have an unusual hard on for the guy a bit back?

Trying my best not to imagine what an unusual hard on looks like...

This is where we are in 100% disagreement. The scouting staff prepares the reports. The personnel department analyzes the players and the GM picks the guy that they want. The Bills are certainly collaborative but personnel decisions are made by Beane’s team. Joe Schoen and Dan Morgan ABSOLUTELY have a bigger say in that room than McDermott. That’s always the case. They aren’t interchangeable despite their collaboration.

Shame on you for trying to suck me into an argument over which of McDermott or Beane did this or that.  I believe they both wanted Oliver.  Unlike the joke that was Rex & Whaley completing each other's sentences, I sorta think Beane & McDermott might actually have something close to that.  In addition to scouting, there was almost certainly McDermott believing what he might do with Ed Oliver, as well as Beane believing what McDermott might do with Ed Oliver.

All of this, and so much more, is what McBeane means to me.

  9. I don't mind trust the process because I trust the process.  I don't mind McBeane because I like having a GM & HC working together to make us a contender for the first time in 20 years.  McBeane is also good for not getting sucked into arguments over which of McDermott or Beane was directly responsible for this or that.  Was Ed Oliver McDermott's guy, or Beane's guy?  In truth, he was McBeane's.

  10. He's an athletic freak, which is clearly something that Beane looks for in the first round (3/3).  Greatest athletic ability = highest ceiling.

Oliver was the perfect pick at the perfect time.  He probably won't replace Kyle Williams in the locker room, but I think what he does on the field will help us get over the loss.

Probably crack.  Was it rolled up in paper or was it a pipe?

It was definitely a cigarette, and not hand-rolled.  I'm 99% sure it had been dipped in liquid pcp, aka "wet".

It's basically embalming fluid, so you're probably pretty much on point with your hypothesis. Although with all the synthetic crap out there these days,  who knows.  You should have sicked the dog on her.

Haha, my dog wanted nothing to do with her!

  13. Late last night while walking my dog, I encountered some whacked out ~30 yo lady (who was not otherwise unattractive), smoking what looked to be a cigarette, but smelling strongly of some sort of chemical. I think a hair removal product (e.g. Nair) is the best comparison I can make to it.  She lingered & smoked in front of my building as I walked my dog around the corner (the dog was totally freaked out, btw), scurrying off into the shadows when we returned.  My building has outdoor stairs & terraces leading to all the units, and I smelled that crap the whole way up.  Went right to bed (as was the plan), then slept through my alarm this morning for the first time in years (not the plan).

So, yeah.  Does anyone know what angel dust smells like?

Kyle back as an assistant coach seems like a good idea... Even if he's just one on one with Ed.

I usually don't agree with the "let's hire former Bills player X as a coach" narrative, but this one actually makes some sense.
