Yes, and Brady is not calling a good game really.  The D is being incredibly aggressive.  Misdirection would be helpful.

Huh?  You're saying the Bills will lose/rest their starters tonight?

I'm saying that Miami now has to beat us twice in a row if they want to move forward in the playoffs.  If we lose tonight, we are the 7 seed and simply play them again in Miami next week.  I like our odds, but I would obviously prefer to win tonight and play the Steelers at home as the 2 seed.

I know I was joking a bit ago, but I am really annoyed by the Dolphins this year...or rather, I am annoyed at the amount of praise laid at their feet.

I think that while they are good, a lot of McDaniel's genius can be attributed to having an All Pro WR in Hill and a #2 in waddle that could be a starter on a lot of other teams.

We really need to follow their blueprint and get some more speed at wideout.

His WR group might be the worst of any contending team.

I get it, we hate Mahomes, mainly because the Bills haven't got him in the playoffs. But c'mon man, he's the best QB in the NFL by a mile.

Mahomes' WR group is not that bad, although they have had a bad case of the drops at times this year.  Valdez-Scandling on paper is good, and Rashee Rice is a quick, elusive receiver.  Kelce kind of makes up for their shortcomings as well.  But, I think Mahomes has had one of his worst seasons this year - he doesn't seem as sharp when I've watched him.

At high school games, it's pretty clear that if you're an end and ask the line judge if you're position is acceptable under the rules, they'll tell you. That doesn't mean that Toney even thought to ask. But I do think the officials will oblige if asked.

The receivers should be able to tell where the ball is and adjust accordingly.  Suddenly the world of Chiefs' fans want to imply that this is rocket science.  Toney made a mistake and it was a penalty.  That's exactly how it's supposed to be.

This is my last weekend watching NFL football till at least the playoffs. The officiating is dominating games, and definitely not just us, and I watch to see players make plays not to watch officials call ticky tack stuff while missing obvious things that have to be called.

Yeah, this officiating crew was hard to watch.  It's time to just call the penalties from upstairs.  And they missed yet another blatant hold or PI on Slay when he held Diggs' jersey on the possession in OT.  Do they not ever call penalties on Slay or something?

  7. We couldn't beat the Eagles and the Refs today.  End of story, and season almost certainly over.  But, overall the Bills looked more like what we expected today.  We should not have been in a position where we needed wins over the top teams in the NFL.

  8. The blitz actually worked.  WIlson just threw a blind lob up in the air.  What more could you ask for from the blitz?  We just got very unlucky that it found it's way into a receiver's hands, and it was the receiver that got open.  I can understand why McDermott there wanted to try and keep them from getting a short 5-8 yard pass and getting into FG range.

  9. Easy to see what is going on.  McDermott is now in the hot seat.  If they don't perform the rest of the season and finish 7-10, for example, he's gone.  100% guaranteed.  Next week will be a very big game for McDermott.

When your top-5 QB performs far worse than he has in the last several years, it falls on the coaches.  They need to make sure Josh is phyically and mentally ready to perform on the field and they have failed this year.  The rest of the offense is similarly suffering.

There was someone who was in charge of the offense. Someone who like, coordinates it?

I’ll do some digging but maybe this guy isn’t doing his job well enough.

I can kind of agree with Dan that they put the guy in motion and the read of zone defense was there and should have been used to get the ball out to Dalton quickly.  It was an easy first down.

Guys hate to say this but Allen isn’t the QB we thought he was. Still making dumb mother fing decisions!!! Should have had another int in the first quarter!! Dude is not good!!

Well, since Miami Allen has played the worst football I've seen out of him since his rookie season.  I'm not sure what's going on, but I have to question the coaching staff.  Allen has performed as a top 5 QB the last several years, and there is no reason for him to fall off the cliff like he has.

  12. Well, Allen is not playing well for most of this year.  He looks scared out there.  I don't know why that is - he was even struggling to hand the ball off tonight.  Is it Dorsey?  I don't know, but I know this team will not be making the playoffs this year.  Some changes need to be made, and Dorsey will be the first chip to fall.
