Looked like he was in slow motion and completely unaware - BUT he has one practice, no camp, no preseason games, so to think he was going to fly around was wishful thinking. I think he will be a good player but for this year might not start to click til week 10 or so

Dudes, We're in a 32 team league that has 10 so-called franchise QB's. Getting one of the 10 would savage your salary cap. Sure you could get one of the 10, and live a year or two of success before being in the league basement, for another long number of years. But who wants that?

As far as being someone's daughter, imo only in Buffalo would someone's daughter even get within 100 yards of some of these winners at Bills tailgates. I doubt he even knows who the first US president is, so social studies teacher is unlikely. Lastly I'm quite sure camera phones are exactly the reason they do this stuff. This video might be the pinnacle of this guys life.

The real reason for success is this is Rex 2.0
Rex realized Rex 1.0 sucked and needed changes. The biggest: he got out of play calling, and delegated. What good head coaches do.
I read an article here last week, where Rex pretty much recognized he was part of the problem, and he made changes to overcome. That takes a big man.

You don't want the team to get a rep of firing people and revolving door. If you do get that rep, you'll have a hard time attracting talent at all levels.
Look at Cleveland. I'd hardly say the people they have hired are the cream of the crop--probably no one of any quan expressed an interest.

One of the guys on my crew had a stress fracture that just would not heal. The Naval Hospital put him in the chamber for a few sessions, and bingo: cured.

I'm calling BS. The spotters at Buffalo Intl would have seen him long before and alerted us.
He could have driven.
He has WNY ties. He was football coach at RIT. He even coached the football classes for ordinary students. My friends from that era say he is a first class person.
He may have been in the area and on spur of the moment called TP.
