For many of us football is an escape from daily life. This shocked me back to reality, I hugged my kids and prayed for Hamlin. Our emotions rise and fall during games but nothing like this. I get upset with players, curse bad plays and right now I wonder what is wrong with me? Right now I feel my priorities are in order… a 60+ year fan and have never felt like this. Prayers to him and his family. it’s nice to have this community to share feelings with.

Pete, I started to have arthritic pain in my knees about 10 years ago (due to the meniscus tears) and started an injection program (Orthovisc) through an Orthopedic Surgeon. If your Dads problem is pain, he might want look into this. If it’s locking, giving out that won’t help. -

It also depends if you have it repaired, cleaned up or removed. Recovery time depends on the procedure. -

Remember, this was 45 years ago and it sounds pretty simple: 1. leg extensions and curls progressively moving up to very heavy weights (which I think they frown upon now). 2. Run figure 8’s (both ways) 3. Ice cold whirlpools 4. wore a brace for one year when playing sports 5. lots of stretching. Like I said it sounds so basic and I must be very lucky. -

Torn all 4 (2 in each knee). One of these was 40 plus years ago. I rehabbed constantly, played sports for another 20 years and have never had it give out or lock up. I Have never had surgery and am very fortunate but did not play professional football lol. Interesting sideline… I tore my first in 1977 up in New Hampshire. They wanted to do surgery. Called my Dad who said.. “Do you know what your Grandmother does? She is the Head Nurse for the Bills Orthopedic Surgeon (Godfried)”. Came home and saw his associate, Dr. Weiss, who later succeeded Godfried). He put me on a rehab program and I have avoided surgery for 45 years! It will probably give out tomorrow 🙂. -

He’ll be back, although the Dolphins “care so much about his health”. -
Mentioned many times… AFCE teams treated games against us like their Super Bowl. They are all .500 teams. Beat Cincinnati and we should start rolling no matter who we play.

My God, does Mac Jones suck! plays like he is scared. -
What an issue for Beane next year. Poyer means so much to this team but wiil age, this years injuries and salary cap lead to him leaving? I sure hope not, great leader and player but those variables are a concern. But… one year at a time…

Fun game to watch. Only issue was that the Ref’s should have been wearing Gold helmets.

BTW, although your opinions generally differ from mine I enjoy your well-thought out comments and insights (doesn’t mean you are always right 😆).
-
Just one persons opinion from past interviews and watching games. I just don’t like him and that probably influences my opinion.

Good point but I still think we can be effective occasionally sending one of our linebackers on some blitzes. I think a couple hard hits on Burrow might shake hm up a little.
-
Win or lose, I would take Josh over this guy any day of the week. Josh seems to be such a modest, unassuming person while Burrow sounds like such a cocky ass.
-
Come on Frazier… surprise us with some effective blitz packages (and hope the secondary holds up).

You always get me with the damn statistics 🫤. I am going more with the unscientific eyeball test.😀
