Yes. But they did not reenter the draft.
Kelly Stouffer almost did it - his rights were traded right before the next draft.
Craig Erickson did it in 1991, he was the most recent.
-
The only instance that comes to mind for me is Bo Jackson with the Bucs. Can't recall any others since.
Cornelius Bennett in 1987, JaMarcus Russell was out for awhile.

Our defence looked great in the first pretty season game...

I read this on Buff News look
“If you are convicted of a crime or subject to a disposition of a criminal proceeding, you are subject to discipline. But even if your conduct does not result in a criminal conviction, if the league finds that you have engaged in conduct [prohibited by the policy], you will be subject to discipline."
that means that even if hes innocent he could still get suspended just for being in that situation rite or wrong. That sucks.
That's not what that means. If he's innocent he's innocent. The purpose of writing that is to prevent players from getting off by reaching out of court settlements pre-trial.

dont give up on Manny yet. It looks like it might be a smear campaign! Dont fall for the sabatoge and slander!
yes!
Or maybe the source just said "Lawson" and meant Shaq.

She is a twin and both are in trouble; maybe he see both on same visit.
-
Predicting anything but a loss at this point is foolish. Tom Brady was hurt once too, we lost to Matt Cassel twice that year and neither game was competitive.
-
Losing the home opener to the Jets.....nope
When's the last time we haven't royally screwed up a home night game? I'll hang up and listen.
Is Chip 2-0 vs. Buffalo? I ask because I don't remember beyond last year.
No, just 1. I like the Bills there, west coast coming east for a 1pm start usually plays out well for the home team. I think it will be high scoring though.
-
Thanks Matthew, we needed that
didn't say he wasn't facing a suspension though
-
Even with Marcells suspension I see us going 4-2
Baltimore - Maybe
Jets - Loss
Cardinals - Bad Loss
Patriots - Loss
Rams - Maybe
49ers - Win
Best case 3-3 but that requires 2 road wins, one on the West Coast.

The poop just keeps piling on with Dareus missing the first 4 games...
So, top 2 draft pick, specifically selected to help the defense - 1 out for the year, the other out for likely at least half the year. Best defenive player by far: out for the first quarter of the season. Practically every LB ever to compete for a roster spot injured...Franchise OLT has a high ankle sprain and will miss most of the preseason (at least).
Well, at least there is a glimmer of hope that we have a NFL capable QB for the first time in 25 years - until he is booed out of town because the OL has no continuity and the backup RB is overweight and the #1 WR missed most of the offseason with an injury...
Just finding it difficult to s e the silver lining.
Saving myself a bunch of money this fall.

Another good point! I think I'll vote for him now!
of course, on the flip side if Donald didn't screw up the USFL then Herschel Walker never gets to Dallas and Dallas can't trade him to Minnesota for everything that wasn't nailed down and then Dallas doesn't win 3 Super Bowls in 4 years - beating us twice.
You need to decide, could we have gotten through the AFC with Frank Reich - who we drafted in 1985 and another center because we wouldn't have had Hull either. If yes then you hate Donald Trump.
-
And if Donald Trump didn't screw up the USFL then Kelly never would have played here at all so, really, we should be thanking Donald Trump for being himself.
-
EJ makes the team? WTF?
Not going into the season with only a rookie at backup and you gain 0 cap space by releasing him.
-
If I'm Dallas and if/when something happens to Romo, I go with Dak.
Jeff Tuel had a helluva preseason once.
-
it was the first pre season game. perspective please. Its a fun exercise to call out the highs and lows.
but lets not put too much into it.
Him playing left tackle. You really don't read through or watch the games anymore do you?
I don't blame you.
I tried to tune Tasker and Stone out after the first ten muffs.
they sucked.
Now Cyrus, was a bit better. But no great shakes
Marquis Lucas did a nice job at LT late in the game. Certainly better than Martin.

He only played 263 snaps last season not even 25% of their snaps. 7.7% pass rush productivity which as good for 56th amongst guys that took 25% of the snaps... O sacks, 8 QB hurries, 12 tackles, 8 stops. Allowed 11 catches on 14 targets for 128 yds, 95 YAC, 0 TDs, 1 INT....That is not tradeworthy imo
His production has been terrible, which is why you can get him for close to nothing. Trying to find a talented player and succeed where others have failed. In the Hughes/Sheppard deal we gave up the more productive player and Indy was happy to be rid of Hughes. I think we did ok. Mingo is very talented if I could get him for nothing he's as worth the gamble as anyone else you could get this time of year.
Marcus Smith has been an albatross for the Eagles too but he's a good example of square peg in a round hole. He was projected as a 3-4 rush backer and the Eagles stuck him at OLB in a 4-3 and it's been a mess. Jim Schwartz moved him to DE and I'm betting he'll be used a lot like he used Hughes.
-
EJ is absolutely here for the year, you gain no cap space in cutting him and there isn't another more competent veteran available. Depending on how things go in the off-season you could even see him back here next year. I can't imagine there will be a big market for him in the off-season unless he has to play significant time this year and plays well.

So?
Many people die, every day. Most don't do it committing felonies that ruin the lives of others. I'll save my sympathies for them.
If you can't find a shred a sympathy for a child, or at least the family of a child, who died a horrible death I don't know what to say to you.

Still have Lattimore coming back from his broken schnozz.

No W. Powell but keeps Salas and Dez?
Salas has had trouble with his hamstrings multiple times in the past. This is definitely something to keep an eye on. Certainly opens the door for all the other fringe WRs. Powell and Boykin took advantage to a degree. Boykin's stats were limited but both of his catches were difficult, sideline toe drag with no bobble and the 1 handed catch in traffic to score the last TD. Powell looked decent but honestly I was a little disappointed he didn't score on the crossing route from Jones.
Little didn't really do much, Hankerson was a mess and frankly Colter was interfered with twice with no flags but had a chance to make at least one of the plays and didn't.
-
Mingo is a little intriguing but I wouldn't give up much. It's a concern that Pettine couldn't get anything out of him in a similar scheme.
-
HANKINS
Hankerson?
On the plus I thought Walker looked good late and Valles wasn't a complete mess.
-
Yes - noticed he got easily pushed out wide on pass rush many times.
I remember seeing a pic of him earlier in the year from one of the OTAs and was stunned how skinny he was upper body.
6'5" 225lbs There are wide receivers that size.
Chargers finally sign Bosa: Who blinked?

This is false. There have been lots of top 3 picks, including Carson Wentz this year who both have a deferred bonus payout and off-set language. This is all about his agent and nothing else.
