  1. Drew Brees will be primary owner of that team by the time he retires.
  2. My Ball Zach Ertz is one of my favourites.
  3. Might be Rory Anderson. Former SC tight end.
  4. There's a lot at play. NFL is a private entity. Weed is still illegal in the state he lives in and the one he's employed in. Only chance he's got is if he can prove full disclosure with the NFL prior to treatment and the treatment itself is legitimate. I feel for the guy, I really do.
  5. Four games means a prior failure. Not a chance Goodell will believe that he's just started it up again to ease pain.
  6. In relation to his treatment for Chron's. Appeal in place. This isn't a pass/fail case, more than likely. Probably more about prior knowledge on the part of the NFL that any treatment would cause him to fail.
  7. You really like kicking a man when he's down, huh?
  8. Taking another look at Nick Chubb from Saturday. I still can't believe how well he performed given that his knee practically caved in on itself 11 months ago. No hesitation in his cuts, leg drive, balance, patience. Still has that blistering home run hitting speed. He might not be human.
  9. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Pb_B0c19xA Updated video of the one mentioned in the piece you posted.
  10. Honestly, I think he's wasted in any scheme that'll ask him to 2-gap. He's like Lavar Edwards, gap-penetrating straight ahead kind of player. I'd love him in any 4-man front playing 3-Tech, especially in sub packages. If he can evolve beyond that, brilliant.
  11. I'm sure he'll make a lovely running back for Greg Roman.
  12. Just thought I'd mention it but the Bills cleaned up their depth chart today - http://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart.html The last iteration had a bunch of released guys still on it. Nothing shocking though.
  13. Not always easy making the transition from D2 to the NFL. Fields is 25 now, hopefully he's had his learning curve in Washington and can impress. I remember talking to Emory about him prior to the 2014 draft, both of us utterly enamoured with the guy. Really special instincts, decent athletic profile. Punishing hitter. He's the prototype. Fields had 29 pass breakups in 3 years as a starter as Winston-Salem.
  14. The Pats can't even pay people to take their crappy OL off their hands.
  15. @LesBowen Whatever this unannounced #Eagles trade involving Eric Rowe is, my understanding is that Josh Kline no longer is involved in any way...
  16. Chris Trapasso loves Parker. Athletic freak, Rochester boy.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAHhW2PjvNo A pre-draft look at Carlos Fields by Emory Hunt of Football Gameplan. 6-foot-1, 240 at his Pro Day, ran a 4.47 40-time.
  18. Now that Lee Smith is gone, he has the best and worst ginger beard on the team. I concur.
  19. I said it the day we drafted him, JWill has the talent to be RB2 by the end of the season. In 2017, him and Shady as a "thunder & lightning" combo is the stuff of dreams for me.
  20. I'm really looking forward to him against Brandon WIlliams on Sunday. That's one mean hombre. As far as overrated players go, I'm more the type that clings to pre-draft assessment rather than a lot of pure delusions about talent/performance.
  21. No problem in getting our money's worth out of Bush. I mean, he's likely not staying around for long and, if you have the skill set, might as well use it. It's very unlike Greg Roman to have backs in the passing game heavily. Maybe this is a sign of his evolution, learning from what he got wrong in SF?
  22. Now that he's found a scheme that fits him well, I think I'm in danger of underappreciating Eric Wood. Under Doug Marrone, I felt that Wood was somewhere between average and lousy on a week-to-week basis. He was much improved last year and I've officially stopped dogging him at every turn.
  23. Gotta justify that roster spot somehow. Powell seriously outperformed him on ST during preseason.
  24. At some point, ability has to count for something. Being a nice dude and a good effort guy has got him this far, I guess. With Bush/Powell set for KR/PR duties, the fact that Tate doesn't contribute on coverage units and isn't good as a WR, I find the move baffling.
