They have 2 teams and high profile college games….plus I believe soccer games in that stadium. I don’t see how a grass field would be feasible. Heck, it may even be more dangerous with the way a grass field can get chewed up.

If owners were serious about player safety rather than maximizing profit, they could make it work. But they aren’t so they won’t. One NFL game a week (none of this back to back day stuff), not accepting college games if it would pose a bad issue for the playing surface, the overlap for soccer and football seasons is pretty small. It comes down to the synthetic turfs costing less money for maintenance as you pointed out.

Back to earth for the Bills  More concerned with the injuries than today's uninspiring result.

Yea it’s one game. The broadcast sucked, the refs were awful for both sides, the Bills had to travel for their “home” game while the Jags got used to the time zones. We unfurled a new CB tandem and then had big injuries to the first and second level of our defense. Led to bad TOP which along with the crazy officiating made it hard for the offense to get a rhythm.

Certainly things the Bills could have done better to pull out a win, but it’s just one funky loss. The injuries affect multiple games so I will hope for the best for Milano and Jones.

Not for nothing, but we were without Tre, Poyer and Hyde the first time we played Miami last year and held them to 21 points and lost because lil dirty didn't go out of bounds.

it was worse than that. Those three didn’t play but we were also without Dane Jackson who was CB1 at that point of the season, Ed Oliver, and Mitch Morse. We did have Von at that point tho.

I know that people don't like fantasy talk here, but I need advice. Should I replace Kelce with Cole Kmet, or pick up Kincaid, Knox or Gerald Everett?

I think all are viable. The LAC vs Miami game has the second highest o/u of the week but Everett is probably option number 4 behind Allen, Williams and Ekeler.

Kmet had a nice game against GB at the end of last season and is probably option 2 on the offense

Kincaid is too unknown for me at this point.

If you are in PPR I would go Kmet, if standard I would probably still lean Kmet but the chance for a TD with Everett (or Knox) is enticing.

Always a good watch. McAfee does a good job with interviews.

I have to wonder what they told him not to say about Justin Shorter. Skip to 12:45 of the video to get the asked question and Josh's response.

If I had to guess, I think he was checking whether it had been announced he was being put on IR yet. That’s why he said “not yet? ok”

So much unsourced stuff being said about Diggs it's hard to know what to believe.  This is from Jason Whitlock, for what it's worth:

“I said it a month or two ago, Stefon Diggs does not want to be in Buffalo. It’s cold up there, his brother plays in Dallas, he wants to be in a better city than Buffalo, and he’s painting this picture ‘OUR SUPER BOWL WINDOW IS CLOSING! JOSH ALLEN NEEDS TO DO THIS!’ He’s painting a picture for him to get out of Buffalo and to get to a city with better strip clubs. I said it a month ago and I’ll say it again—this is about strip clubs, it ain’t about championships. He doesn't care about being a pro, he doesn’t care about winning a championship, he wants to be in a better city. Go look at the teams in that division. Miami Dolphins; he would rather be in Miami. The New England Patriots; he’d rather be in Boston. The New York Jets; he’d rather be in NYC. He’s stuck up in Buffalo, it’s cold there, and I’m just telling you what I know and what I believe—with these young guys and all this discretionary income, and his brother in the NFL, he wants to be in a city where it’s easier to pop bottles, he wants to be somewhere where it’s easier to fly in the Instagram models and that’s what this is about. This has nothing to do with winning, this has nothing to do with dissatisfaction of Josh Allen. He’s going to put all the pressure on Josh Allen and the media is going to eat it up because Josh Allen doesn’t have the complexion for the connection. It’s unfair what Stefon Diggs is about to do to Josh Allen."

It’s not all Josh Allen, but it’s mostly Josh Allen… don’t think there another QB in the league that elevates their team more than he does.

Never said Beane was a bad GM… he’s also not great and bordering on above average IMO.

I think he is very good at the cap side of it, I think he leans on other people for the talent evaluation side of it and the actual draft pick results are not amazing.

This feels like a favor to Schoen. Stashing him on the practice squad would have been more valuable than a late round pick two years from now.

Yea, basically Boogie was going to be cut. He would have been claimed by some team. Doing the late round pick swap is basically just a way to route Boogie to the preferred destination.
