  1. Tyrod walks into 10 NFL camps and if there were a QB competition for the starter like the Bills had in '15 he wins it. Vikings Texans Browns Denver Jets Rams Dolphins Eagles Niners Jags Lots of teams getting old at QB, too - SD (now LA and Giants come to mind). He'll be fine.
  2. Good call - maybe didn't press send on what I wrote about playcalling. So in the poo-poo'ed VT comeback video, did you notice the glaring lack lack of a reverse to a backup RB in the RZ - and a QB draw in the theRZ when everyone in the stadium knew it was coming - and the absolute seed that TT threw on the long pass to get VT in the RZ ? Bills did not call those plays in comeback situations. Instead they were ass plays as outlined. The Bills playcalling hurt them the most on sealing the deal - Miami and Seattle at a minimum. Next up - Aaron Rodgers just beat the Cowboys on 3 ridiculous toe tap sideline throws. I can put up TT VT highlights like that, too - but requires receivers that u've practiced that with week in and week out. Packers lose without that perfection tonight. TT hasn't had a consistent set of receivers all year - let alone ones with that talent - but he can make those throws - seen him do it. Best or second best player on the team is a player call - not a message board fan's. You would lose this bet. The players know who the their leader is and who is the best player. Heck - TT beat them all in their own skills challenge including some weightlifting. It's a wash between Shady and TT. Take that mediocre TT talent BS to the players and they laugh you out. Silly. Even Flacco wouldn't let TT ever come in the game cuz he knew he was as good if not better at the Ravens. Team Tyrod beat Team Flacco all the time in scrimmages with the #2 offensive players. That's why Denver (Kubiack - TT's last Ravens OC) offered him so much in 2015. Delusion is what your post is. TT is way better than those pretenders you listed in your post. We shall see.
  3. Well you did not focus on the part in my post where I said I mostly put that up to show the playcalling. So density must also be a trait of yours. And TT did come back against the Dolphins in the 4th qtr just this season - including taking the lead - so no need to go back to VT days if that's the bar he needs to jump over for you. Never seen a fan and/or fanbase deride and want to run the best or second best player on their team out of town like this in my 50 years of watching FB. I don't get you.
  4. Dude said "ever". Taylor >>> Tebow in th NFL and you know it so quit it. Put it up much more to show the play calling. Those are the plays one calls to "come back"
  5. You did say, ever. And he's only started two years. And has comeback in those two years. Bigger point is did we ever run either of these plays when trying to comeback ? Notice the glaring lack of a reverse to a back-up RB, no QB draw into a D that - along with everyone else in the building - knew was coming ? and the seed he threw long on a D that wasn't expecting it ? We never do this.
  6. Agree. Just a matter of how much loyalty he has left towards this ownership and fanbase. They and we are the ones that gave him his dream shot - to start in the NFL and lead his own NFL team as a QB. At some point he needs to start thinking of it as just business, but he has always enjoyed proving his critics wrong. Will be interesting to watch what happens in the next month or so.
  7. Taylor's never cared about $. Still building his rep. Will renegotiate and, as always, will beat out any competition and start.
  8. This should cover every one of your questions. And before you say, "not against NFL talent", on both throws Nodomakong Suh was hanging on him.
  9. If McD knows what a winner looks like, TT will stay. That's all he does. Just win. Just give him some semblance of a D, OL, and and an offensive scheme. In 2016 we had 1 of 3.
  10. Which would have been just a 36 yard FG if TT just kneeled instead of the two 5 yd loss plays that were called by some mongoloid. Most frustrating 5 minutes of football watching in the last 5 years. Just awful. This is an outstanding post.
  11. Contend that we use the 1st round pick on someone other than Watson - Bills D was the issue last season no O - keep TT for now. After last night, I am more of a believer in Watson. Offense was NFL-like - but his biggest impact was when the Bama D was gassed. He was completely lost and neutralized when the Bama D was fresh like an NFL D. He looked great and made great throws - in NFL schemes but only in the second half. That game was won by the Clemson D and Mike Williams. 12 straight 3rd down stops, Unreal catches in clutch times. Watson is not ready to come in and take over an NFL team and rescue it. TT is ready to take the next step with a real OC and a real D. If wrong continue to draft QB's in the 2nd or 3rd like Dallas did Dak. Especially if drafting positions of more need like DB's and WR's is what CLEARLY needed. Always draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th: There's as many Romo, Dak, Wilson, Brady's as there are Luck, Rodgers, Cam, Matty Ice's. This year, it might be this guy: http://www.whatsondr...od-evans-report
  12. Awesome performance for the Tigers and DW.
  13. Watson looks really good. Throwing deep, slants, you know, plays our O doesn't even have in it. Notice no QB draws or reverses to a RB that hasn't played yet ? And they throw it to the EZ. All **** we don't call.
  14. Hung him out to dry with a high throw IMO.
  15. Got great coaching in Baltimore. That's how he easily won the starting job over Cassel and EJ having never started an NFL game. Also finished Top 10 in QBR and went to a Pro Bowl. I think the OP is saying he won't take the next step without a real QB coach. We don't have one. Been all TT the past 2 years -- relying on what Flacco and the Ravens taught him.
  16. Jeez. Just a decent route tree and non-mongoloid play-calling would have won the Ravens game, the Seahawks game and the second Miami game at the end. Tyrod plays vs. Jets and wins. 11-5.
  17. Saw his NFL career about to go away. Very lucky. Bama player went real high tho - uncalled for.
  18. Will be even more interesting to see what he does in the combine - interviews included. Great possibility as the #2 or #3 behind TT for a couple years - all 3 the same style of QB. He will be a bargain in terms of draft round compared to Watson IMO.
  19. I'd try to get this dude in the 3rd if still there: http://www.whatsondraftst.com/jerod-evans-report
  20. No. Cuz Watson won't fall to Round 3 or 4. Jerod Evans is this year's Dak. http://www.whatsondraftst.com/jerod-evans-report Agree with this whole report except he's better than Kiser.
  21. I do all the time. Teased fans like this the first 2/3 seasons at VT then did it every week thereafter as a Senior. Always got better. Yes. $.
  22. OK. Mine, too. Just go to 26, 32, and 1:10. Bullets over the middle IYAM. And Watson just got sacked being tentative and "didn't move the sticks" on 3rd down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahJAelqtBm8
  23. Watson is 10/16. The completions were pretty but the misses were ugly and way off. Sound familiar ?
