  1. The blaming of the refs is amazing. I only listened to the game, but it seems like the refs called a clean game - something those fans are probably not used to.

It was actually strange to watch the game, begin to flip out because a penalty flag wasn't thrown, and then 2 seconds later turn out that the flag was in fact thrown and Pats were penalized....

Happened to me on several occasions

  2. If were being honest here. Outside of maybe 1 or 2 good FA pickups his drafts and personnel decisions have been below average. I see people every day claiming how he is one of the "best GM's in football". What a load of crap. What exactly has this guy done to get that title?

Idc what you say, he drafted EJ. Picking a 1st round QB in possibly the worst QB class in the last 15 years was awful decision making. He then supported EJ and tried to get him weapons, that ended up failing big time. Watkins has been an injury prone nightmare. His 2016 draft has already had 2 guys out for the year and 1 guy who will miss half. Karlos williams was a disaster. Darby has prob been his best pick but he has only had 1 good season.

Our WR depth and oline depth is a complete joke, he has done NOTHING to address this so far. Sammy went into training camp injured and we still didn't pick anyone up. Clay has been a waste of money, and McCoy is aging fast.

Whaley is not the guy that should be staying with this team for the future. We are 1-2 soon to be 1-3 and does anyone really see this team making the playoffs this year? What do we even have to look forward to? Does anyone trust this guy picking another QB in the draft? B/c I don't.

Even before Rex, Whaley should be gone. New GM can find his own staff and scouts.

Go Home, no one cares for your uninformed opinion.

  3. Huge win for this team, defense smothered the Pats and the offense moved the ball well ! Go Bills ! All in is paying off !

Yeah settle down bud, who played QB for the pats again???

Sure it's nice that the season isn't over but I will wait for the end of the season before I give any credit to the Ryans.

  4. We NEED to win next week though. 100% CANNOT let a Bradyless Pats win 4 in a row.

We also need to see this thing called consistency and momentum people on other teams always talk about.

Who cares if they win 4 in a row? They will likely win the division regardless so it technically doesn't make a difference if they were to go undefeated.

Consistency would be lovely, i'm guessing it will continue to be a shortcoming in Buffalo

  5. It's just more noise from Rex. I could care less what he has to say. For whatever reason ESPN loves the guy.... He sets himself up for this every time. When the Bills lose he'll come back down to earth, when they win another game he'll think it was the super bowl and so on until they finish with 7 or 8 wins.

But to your point, yes he is an idiot.

  6. So true... we'd be in much better shape of making the playoffs had we lost

Sometimes when you win, you actually lose. Sometimes when you lose, you actually win. Sometimes when you win or lose, you actually tie. Sometimes when you tie, you actually win or lose.

I just root for the players to still be good friends regardless of the game outcomes

  7. Ok, upon some reflection, I was wrong about Rex Ryan. I thought his 46 defense would work here, I am on record saying so, and I was wrong. No one in the NFL is running this defense anymore as it's geared to stopping the run in a run heavy climate. The NFL isn't that way anymore. Looking at the running yards on average this year, teams are not relying on it, period. This antiquated 46 defense needs to go. I was also wrong about The Eagles and Carson Wentz. Kid looks legit, and Doug Pederson along with Jim Schwartz have that team clicking with the wide-9. Interesting and frustrating at the same time watching Bradham, and Brooks steal the show last night. I thought both of them had outstanding games.

I'm done with Rex Ryan's bravado, and excuses. Time to put up or shut the !@#$ up, Rex. I was willing to give Rex the benefit of doubt as I thought he was nullified in NJ, but it is becoming clear that, although players seems to like playing for him, they don't actually "Play" for him, or can't. I'm not sure which is more true, but his defense sucks, and our team cannot for whatever reason execute. He says he learned from past mistakes, but judging by the first two games he doesn't seem to get the fact that his defense doesn't work any longer.

I was also wrong about Taylor. I thought he would make a huge leap this year. I thought the game would slow down for him, and he'd be more aware in the pocket, and find his open guys. The All-22 says otherwise, he's still missing wide open targets, and cannot for the life of me adjust to pre-snap reads. My God, even Wentz last night was making changes at the LOS, and he's a god damn rookie. Now, I'm not totally giving up on TT, I think, or at least my intuition is that Roman had him on lock down, and he wasn't allowed to audible. We'll see this week, but if he continues to rely on the deep ball, and fails to throw the intermediate, and over the middle balls, Roman wasn't the problem, it's him.

I am not looking forward to Sunday, I just don't see how we win that game, but I am hopeful, as I always am that this team will finally turn the corner. I just don't think it's going to be this year, and until Rex Ryan shows me otherwise, I don't see it with him as the head coach.

    Go Bills!

    Tim-

Don't see us winning Sunday eh... based on previous trends of your assumptions, the Bills are guaranteed to win right?!?! Who's coming to Vegas with me?!!!

  8. This guy that they appointed believes in the power run game more than Roman did

Get ready for another run run pass offense. Coaches who have never called offensive plays in their career tend to crash and burn.

The firing of Roman was a joke, just an excuse.

Give us fans who aren't eating this crap up one good reason why the offense will be better than it used to be.

I think you're making things up in your head...

    1. Where are you getting that Lynn believes in the run game more so than Roman?

    2. Who is saying the offense will be better?

  9. Again players are complaining they can not comprehend a playbook, this year it is Offense, last year it was Defense. Did they all fail the wonderlic? Why are all these guys unable to comprehend what the coaches are doing? Are we the only team that needs to make things vanilla for our players? Are the coaches unable to convey to the players what they want properly? I don't get it.

I haven't heard a single player complain about this.... The coaches told them they would be simplifying things during the transition to Lynn

  10. Tyrod Taylor won't last four games cutting it loose. He doesn't have the frame for it.

Development is painful. One can only look at what Haley did with Roethlisberger. First two years were awful. Turned a scrambling and reckless(ly successful) gunslinger into a drop back QB, and made him lose weight. Fans screamed bloody murder. Now, they have one of the most explosive offenses around.

Firing Roman I fear is going to stunt his growth. And letting him loose is a one-way ticket to the IR list. Hope I'm wrong.

Tyrod's contract is built so that Buffalo can find out if he won't last 4 games playing this way...

Tyrod tailors playing style vs Tyrod gets hurt being aggressive? = Both result in Bills missing the playoffs.

  11. Your thinking is pennywise and pound foolish.

I agree Tyrod is likely to be slightly more productive, near term, if he ad libs and runs around.

The problem is that this is not a winning equation in the NFL. A QB who plays in this manner will never achieve consistent results or avoid injury.

A QB who can not sit in the pocket, read defenses, anticipate, and make accurate throws in tight windows while exposing the weaknesses of a given defensive scheme will never enjoy long term success in the NFL.

    Tyrod is not that guy.

    Cam?

  12. Maybe a silver lining... but so far weeks 1 and 2 of the 2016 season resulted in a version of Tyrod similar to Collin Kapernick's year 2 under Roman.... As if he was forced to stay in the pocket, read defenses, and use his legs only as a last resort...

I'm hopeful that Tyrod is going to let loose this week in Arizona and run a bit more based on comments from Rex on Roman's firing.
