  1. Tough-Loss. Mental mistakes cost this one (on the field and coaching)

I thought the play calling on two key drives lost it for the Bills today. Twice we had 1st down were only about 5-yards out from field-goal range (one right before the half and one after one of the Cincy turnovers), and twice we gained 0 yards and were forced to punt... 6 more points would of changed the game dynamic. It seems like the coaching staff is too optimistic with regards to what this offense is capable of.

Another strong showing from the defense, and more evidence that the offense needs more playmakers.

  2. Don't forget we were leading during this time, and it's unfair to assume our D that had been playing stellar would have given up the lead...

Agreed that Denver made a bunch of mental mistakes, and apart from Miller's unsportmanlike penalty, the reason teams make these mistakes is the other team forces them into it.

  3. "Tyrod Taylor is a better quarterback than Joe Flacco

In 2015 and 2016 combined, Joe Flacco has completed 64.7% of his passes. Tyrod Taylor has completed 62.6% of his. That’s the only passing statistic in which Flacco > Tyrod since the latter became Buffalo’s starter.

    Tyrod has a better:

    • TD %
    • INT %
    • Yards Per Attempt
    • Yards Per Completion
    • Adjusted Yards Per Attempt
    • QB Rating
    • Pro Football Focus QB Rating
    • ESPN QBR
    • Football Outsiders DVOA

Flacco has thrown the football more often than Tyrod, which has led to higher passing-yard totals. And, yes, the current Ravens quarterback can flash a Super Bowl ring. But as it stands today, Tyrod is a more efficient signal-caller. And most wide receivers consider quarterback quality when deciding which team to join."

Some good arguments for Maclin here from the link I put up.

I think we forget to look at total yards and total pass attempts. Normalizing the data is great, but the piece overlooked with Tyrod is 'have the Bills only been asking Tyrod to pass in more ideal passing situations'

  4. All due respect to the 2 people who died... who may or may not have died by his hands. Do you feel his on the field accomplishments should be recognized( wall of fame etc)?

"may or may not".... you do know he was found guilty in a civil suite right? Also if you were to do an ounce of research on this case you would know that yes he was in fact 100% guilty.

But to your question - no, I would absolutely not recognize any of his stats.

  5. Lol - absolutely should not be legal!

This would basically require anyone interested in playing pro-sports to sacrifice their lives to take these dangerous substances... I have no clue where you got some of this info about teens killing themselves, but Football unlike Soccer has the 'head-trauma' factor at play as well.

  6. It might be super optimistic and I'll probably get slammed for posting this... but seriously if the Bills win out, there's not a game listed below that would be a huge stretch... although a lot does need to happen.

Also - Colts and Titans just need to lose 1 game each

Maybe we get some Christmas presents in Western NY this weekend??

    Week 16

    • Bills beat Dolphins
    • Raiders beat Colts (or Colts loss week 17)
    • Steelers beat Ravens
    • Bengals beat Texans
    • Jaguars beat Titans (or titan loss week 17)

    Week 17

    • Bills beat Jets
    • Bengals beat Ravens
    • Patriots beat Dolphins
    • Raiders beat Broncos

  7. Start out with a $10-million pot up for grabs.

First half of play, both teams can accrue as much money as possible (e.g. FF style, yards/pts/catches/sacks/int all worth set dollar amounts)

Second half of play, all money is taken from the other side via yard and point differential. (e.g. an AFC interception would result in money transferred from the NFC bank to the AFC bank)

Money is divided evenly among the players at the end of the game.

...I'm pretty proud of myself right now, I think I just fixed the pro-bowl

  8. I like these numbers. Kinda makes you wonder on AVG TT is attributing around 24.33 points to the offense before a turnover.

So now that makes me wonder why it doesn't translate to more wins. I get by these numbers you essentially start off 0-2 with the Pats.

I can attribute a lot of last year to the injuries on defense so I would like to see a regression or progression number from Tyrod in 2015 to 2016. Hold on I will help out.

    2015 - 3.42 (14 games)

    2016 - 3.2 (11 games)

    2015 PPG 22.5

    2016 PPG 21.0

So by these numbers we should almost be winning every game minus the 2 against NE.

I know it doesn't work this way but something is holding this team back in the win column.

You answered your own question... Defense

    Who's to blame:

    Baltimore loss - offense

    Jets loss - defense

    NE loss - defense

    Miami loss - defense

    Seattle loss - defense

    Team sport bro

  9. NFL looks pretty sad and they know it.

Zero mention of this on their website... ALthough he's not the biggest name in the game, I guarantee it would be under the 'breaking news' section had it been PEDs. The league is run by a bunch of crusty old racist billionaires that don't care to stand for what's right unless they can profit from it.

Come on Terry back your guy on this!

I wonder how much any one of us would want to surrender to the public? How much health info? How much personal info?
There are a lot of things about my health I would prefer to keep private.

If i had a disease and was in constant pain I wouldn't give a damn what the NFL said. Crohn's is serious.
