  1. Exactly. People complain about low hits on TEs like that but all you have to do is watch players try to tackle guys like Gronk by wrapping him up or hitting him from the front to see why that's a bad idea. If teams or the NFL wants players to stop hitting TEs like that then they need to stop using them as 6-and-a-half foot tanks.
  2. ESPN has us dropping 2 spots to 18th with this commentary. Totally makes sense.... Here are the quarterbacks with more touchdowns per game than Kyle Orton: Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers. That's it.
  3. After we whoop on the Dolphins for the 4th straight time I'm sure they'll still be ranked 1 ahead of us.
  4. NFL.com has us 14th: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000422833/article/nfl-power-rankings-week-10-new-england-patriots-claim-no-1
  5. Turnovers are even more important than yards given up. The Bills have twice as many forced fumbles and 3 times as many INTs. I wouldn't say KC's defense is better.
  6. The main reason I'm confident about this game is that KC seems to have a really hard time playing the Bills in Buffalo. We almost beat them last season with our 3rd string QB and an inferior team. Of course things change from year to year, but just like Miami we seem to "have their number," at home anyway.
  7. Some turnovers would be huge in this game. KC has been winning by committing very few mistakes. Our Dline is so good I'm hoping they can force Alex Smith into at least 1 pick. If they do that I like our chances.
  8. I really hope Freddy is back. Orton is going to need a reliable dump-off target against that pass rush. Not to mention Freddy is our best RB picking up blitzes.
  9. I think his arm is ok. They rely on short passes all game so I doubt it'll effect him much unless our front 4 smash it up more, which might just happen. The Chiefs have allowed more sacks per pass play than all but 4 teams so far this year. KC fans seem to be pretty confident they're going to beat us. At least the fans on their forums.
  10. No way they overlook the Bills this week. This is a very important game for both teams.
  11. Considering they have no other serious WR threats the Bills should be able to zero in on Kelce. They can blanket him with a couple guys at all times, and since Alex Smith isn't Tom Brady he's not going to be able to thread the needle to Kelce like Brady does to Gronk. If assigned correctly the Bills should be able to get at least one INT on a pass intended for Kelce.
  12. I love that they never get any respect. I'm sure they feed off of that.
  13. Actually they only ranked top 10 a few times in the 90s. I only know that because I just looked it up last week for a separate discussion. Some seasons in the 90s they were downright bad against the run, including '91 and '93.
  14. LOL @ them saying the Bills should be worried about KC's passrush and not the other way around. At least that's how I read it.
  15. Unless it's extreme or deep into the season weather doesn't strike me as a big advantage for anyone. How much practice have our players had this year playing in 40 degree rain? Now if it was week 17 and it was our 4th game in heavy snow, maybe the players would be used to it and it would be an advantage to the Bills. If anything the teams that play in really hot weather probably have the biggest weather advantage because they practice in that heat.
  16. I wouldn't call yesterday the worst day ever. Losses by 2 potential WC teams that hold tie breakers over us. Significant injuries to both those teams and Miami, not to mention all the other injuries around the league. Yes it would have been nice for NE but lots of teams got weaker this week and the Bills are heading into the second half of the season very healthy with plenty of winnable games on deck.
  17. Patriots better not win this game. It'll piss me off as much as a Bills loss.
