  1. Wait is that $15 A YEAR??? hahahahaha Obviously an older contract left over from the hayday of Running Backs
  2. He may actually get them an extra win or two, considering they couldn't possibly get any worse.
  3. This just made my day. I'll be at the game 20 rows up near midfield. I was praying I'd be on the Bills' side of the field behind their bench, but if I'm not I'm going to heckle the **** out of Marrone ALL game.
  4. The only acceptable outcome for this year's Superbowl: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fZL9T8D7h4
  5. I used to work with a kid whose family are die-hard Steelers fans. I remember he and his father won tickets to their Superbowl and they sold them for like $3,000 and bought a big screen tv(that's how expensive they were back then). I told him he was insane. I guess if I was this guy I'd probably take the money, because you can buy a Superbowl ticket /hotel AND a game helmet signed by the team or something similar for a lot less than $20,000. The only way I wouldn't take the money is if the tickets the player gave me were special or a one-of-a-kind experience, like front row sideline seats right nehind of their bench or including an on-field pass or something.
  6. I'd kind of feel bad if Sammy Watkins called me personally to ask for his ball back and I was like "nah man, I'm selling it to a collector."
  7. Other articles peg the guy as "an unemployed father of two" so I'd probably take the money if I was in his shoes.
  8. If I was a Seattle fan I'd take his game helmet signed by the whole team and SB tickets over $20k in a heartbeat.
  9. Bill Bellichick has always been a shiesty bastard. He even sued the Jets in federal court to get free of his contract to come to the Patriots.
  10. Just a tip for anyone going: Plane tickets from Buffalo are around $1,300-$1,400 right now and will probably go up as it gets closer. You can drive to the 2 hours to Toronto and fly out from there to London for only $700ish dollars.
  11. I hope the league comes down hard on them. Take away their first round draft pick or something. It's not so much deflating balls is the biggest deal in the world, it's that the Patriots have shown time and time again they have no respect for the integrity of the game.
  12. The best outcome of the Superbowl would be the stadium scene from Black Knight Rises.
  13. "The NFL is taking "Deflategate" very seriously." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/19/nfl-taking-game-integrity-issues-very-seriously/
  14. Ingram or Ryan Matthews would be good alternatives.
  15. That's fine by me. As long as they sign two very good guards. No more of that Chris Williams bull ****.
  16. So we sign two good guards and stick with the RBs we have?
  17. Of course RIGHT AFTER I bought my tickets I finally found a description of the Sapphire package which I was looking for for over a week. And it was all on a page I had visited a dozen times, down at the bottom. Sounds really fun. Hosted dinners and drinks before the game and during halftime and stuff. A little pricey though.
  18. Kid is way too hard of a worker to write him off yet. Read that he's still the first one in at OBD in the mornings.
  19. I mean I'm fine not signing him as long as we spend that money on REALLY upgrading the Oline. He just seems perfect for the type of offense Rex is saying he's going to implement.
  20. Being able to learn and develop out of the spotlight is probably the best thing that could have ever happened to EJ's career. At least now he has a chance to come back fierce. If he would have started all this season and/or next he probably would have been ruined.
  21. Luckily I think the NFL teams are smarter than to not understand the dynamic of Marrone/Hackett this season. I'm sure they're well aware that Hackett wasn't all to blame. Hopefully he lands somewhere good.
  22. He wasn't alone either. I seriously don't know HOW Marrone and Hackett managed to screw everyone up SO badly, but our Oline and run game took about 500 steps back from 2013 with pretty much the same personnel available in 2013 and 2014. If anything they should have been better in 2014 because we added several RBs and Olinemen while still keeping the ones we had in 2013. Marrone and Hackett completely destroyed our offense.... somehow.
  23. EJ Manual may never turn into a great QB but I'd be willing to bet money he looks a hell of a lot better playing under Rex and Roman than he did under Marrone and Hackett in 2014.
