  1. Odd bit of information, but Denver just waived Levi Wallace on Christmas Eve.
  2. That one Lombardi doesn't seem to provide much comfort to Jets fans right now. Or at least it doesn't to the three generations of Jets fans that have been born since they won it.
  3. I went to TheGangGreen to see if anything fun was going on. There isn't. They are 90% depressed, 10% delusional. Full blown Just End The Season.
  4. Anybody watch film on this guy? His box score scouting is pretty average. He's a single digit sacks per year DE, except for 2019, when he had 19.5. He's been playing since 2015 and his 2019 sack total is 1/3 of his career sacks. He's an old Epenesa unless he does something nuts on film that doesn't show up on the stat sheet.
  5. https://www.mediaite.com/politics/vivek-ramaswamy-hammered-by-right-over-screed-declaring-americans-mediocre-one-of-the-most-offensive-things-ive-read/ The full essay he posted is just painfully stupid. In a nutshell, Vivek said America sucks so we need tens of thousands more H1B visas, so Big Tech can hire more cheap engineering talent from India and China. It was pointed out to him that there's plenty of home grown STEM talent looking for jobs. It's just not as cheap. Nobody really goes for the whole "import more cheap foreign labor to drive down wages" thing since globalism died. Now everyone from Nikki Hailey to Catturd is dragging him for being a sellout and a dumbass.
  6. In the age of the Internet, feelings don't care about your facts.
  7. For the adults in the room who lived through it... Can you imagine what this place would have looked like from 1990-1994?
  8. So we're the worst 12 win team ever and we should probably just forfeit so we can get a head start on feeling bad. This is some candy ass, beta *****.
  9. Houston looks like they're out of ideas on offense.
  10. Anybody see that Pittsburgh's stadium has a ferry dock right on the river with paths straight to ticket gates?
  11. "...on us" is the rest of that sentence.
  12. Agreed. It's good that they can effectively communicate there experience as players. They're also not treating us like morons.
  13. This is wrong, see 10 U.S. Code § 1161 - Commissioned officers: limitations on dismissal. The president can fire officers at his pleasure if the country is at war. Otherwise there must be circumstances as outlined by the statute.
  14. This is too good to be true. Beane must have taken a look at this year's 1st Round prospects and been like, "hard pass".
  15. Merry Christmas! Frohe Weinachten!
  16. I'm absolutely loathe to let home grown, game breaking talent walk away. That's how you end up in a Jets-type death spiral. Hopefully the rest of the NFL will stick by the current received wisdom and keep driving down RB contract prices. Keep Cook in Buffalo, and for the love of God, keep carries under 250/season.
  17. The NFL thought they were setting us up for a murderer's row and end of season drama. Instead we're arguing about which starters we can sit. Oh. And watching a 1st Ballot HoF QB end his career by repeatedly pooping his pants.
  18. Agreed, especially if the Chiefs win next week and lock up the 1 seed
  19. Yeah. I'm also more concerned for the D than I am the O. Offensively, I thought we were very vanilla. That's fine, we shouldn't need our best stuff or new ideas to beat the Pats. That would also explain why the Pats had such a strong outting. They didn't see anything that we hadn't put on film a bunch of times. The D has been getting away with weak first halves followed by very strong second halves for most of the season. That I don't know how to explain, except that Babich is a first class defensive mind who doesn't like to be proactive?
  20. Yeeaaahhhh...Joe Brady made some interesting decisions in this game.
  21. Honestly, we're in a good spot. We can win games with the B Team, spare starters, and keep KC trotting out their starters to hold on to the 1 seed. Seems like something worth doing if that's their strategy.
  22. Russia's invincible. Apart from when they lost in 1905 to Japan, 1918 to Germany and Austria, 1920 to Poland, 1988 to Afghanistan, and 1991 to, oh yeah, Us. It's because The West doesn't understand Russia that they're on their 4th, or 5th, form of government in 107 years. What a ***** take.
  23. It might be time to move on from Kaiir. First round flops hurt but they happen. Cook and the 2nd Half D won this game.
