Golf balls scare me. I worked near a golf course and was almost hit by balls several times. Once a ball hit me and a guy in a ridiculous outfit came over and asked if I saw a ball and I said yea it hit me. Without a beat he asked where it is, hit the ball back across the street to course and thanked me for saving me a stroke.

The issue is there are no other players available like him and hard to spot them in the draft. If you lose a #1 WR you can draft (like Vikings) or trade (like Bills did) but hard to find that complementary dangerous receiver. Opposing teams need to keep a good CB on him even if he lining up in the middle and most teams do not allocate funds for a Taron Johnson. -
Bills scoring 38.3 points at home this year, best in the league.

Like the hurry up offense it is something teams including the Bills have done before but Bills were first to base their whole offense on it. Likewise this formation is not just for running as many teams do but for throwing. I think this is influence from OL Coach Aaron Kromer and him getting the players he wants. The issue with Ravens is primary LBs were out and the Bills are built small and need some mass in it able to withstand heavy run game. -

They did something similar with Tommy Doyle before he was injured. -

Good teams do not need favorable calls since they do not help parity. -

Some teams are in better critical shape than others. Cleveland actually is in BETTER shape now that starting QB is out for season. -

There IS a chance - critical injury for season for a Bills player. It happens without even being hit stepping wrong especially on turf. -

One time when I was a kid there was a house with an old man (never did his name and I knew most in neighborhood) at end of the street at edge of neighborhood. His light was on and when I knocked he looked surprised and was smiling. "Hold on" he said and he dumped a bowl of candy in my bag. When I got to well lit place where I sorted the candy I was going to keep and the candy which would go in family bin and I tried one of the wrapped chocolates which had (German?) writing on them and found they were filled with liquor (rum). These I not only kept but I hid before I got home. I brought one to school and asked a teacher what the writing was and told me it was European, likely German, Bavarian, Austrian or from Liechtenstein. He asked if he could have one and I said yes. Next time he saw me he said it was Schriftdeutsch or Swiss High German and mark said it was from Switzerland. He asked where I got it from and I told him honestly and he said this was handmade chocolate and take care of it so it does not get to moist or dry. I gave him a few pieces and thanked him. I saw the man occasionally mowing his lawn with hand mower and helped him cutting it. He offered me ice tea heavily sweetened and spiced for my trouble. I saw service awards and metals in a glass case in his kitchen. He evidently knew very little English and I heard later he moved to US post WWI with his daughter and she moved out when she got married. New people lived in the house after three years but never heard whether he died, moved in with daughter or a retirement home.

Fitzpatrick is too smart for that unless he got a fully guaranteed multi-year contract for which he could still do his Thursday job except if he was playing. -

The great news if you love tragic comedy it is playing again and again ... on NFL Network Friday unless they are too ashamed to replay it. -

It will go up because Amazon will raise annual cost to everyone, even non-NFL watchers, to recover money from low ratings. -

No team has tied this year. The problem with tieing is players need to play overtime period and they just want to leave field and count the bills from their paychecks. -
I found a Redsuck jersey in my house someone used as cleaning rag when we bought it. After Superbowl when Redsuck spray red and blue tempera paint on my car at DoD facility I decided to hang a dummy from a tree in my yard at end of driveway dressed as scarecrow with jersey on it and a sign "Deadskin". Kids would hit it with a branch conveniently nearby. Following year same dummy but standing on a cut section of wood. More hits and word was passed around. I had it in a hangman noose and occasionally it would move when being hit from me hiding behind tree. Next year dummy was sitting on cut section of wood with lit Jack O Lantern as head. One kid encouraged another to hit it and the dummy stood up and screamed! Kids dropped candy and took off. Eventually more kids came back and were poking it with kids teasing the one who said it moved and screamed. I was out of costume behind tree listening.

Makes me think players on both teams bet the under.
