  1. I have some groundbreaking news. I think I am a bit late to the party since this thread somehow has 4 pages. Here it goes: Lot's of people in the entertainment business own houses. Sometimes, they sell their houses when they move. And wait for it...some of them are better decorators than others. It's crazy...I know, but try to contain yourself after hearing this news.
  2. I would dress the guy who is going to make the biggest impact. I would never dress a special teamer and leave someone like Mike Williams on the bench. That is retarded, but I guess I am not Doug Marrone. Maybe Larry dean offered more than a 900-1000 yard/ 10td receiver with great red zone skills when we sucked in the red zone. And in general, I would keep very few special teamers. I hate coaches that over emphasize the importance of special teams. It's not all that important in reality unless you suck in every other phase.
  3. Is Larry dean a wide receiver? If not, who cares? We keep x amount of wrs. He is wasting one of those spots. We can absolutely get a wide receiver better than Goodwin pretty easily.
  4. Similar example where this has worked for a good offense? We could just get a better player.
  5. I really don't understand what you are saying. Decoys suck. Just get players that can make plays consistently. I really also don't care about special teams so i'm not sure I get your point. A reliable kicker is pretty much all I care about there. I wanted an example of a successful decoy situation. Convince me that decoys are the bomb.
  6. Well, in theory having a decoy sounds nice, but it really doesn't work. We had had a decoy for years (evans) and we had horrible offenses at the same time. At some point, you have to be able to capitalize on the threat on a consistent basis. Otherwise, you are just putting one guy on the field who really isn't very useful. I would rather just have a good receiver on the field who is actually a useful option. This take the top off crap is so overblown. Name one team that has this decoy that gets a few catches a year and still has a great offense?
  7. Omg, omg, omg! This is like the coolest thing ever! I can't believe he is wearing a Thurman jersey! Wowweee!
  8. he may be useful once every few games for one catch before he gets hurt.
  9. I can't believe people even still think about Goodwin. He is a complete non factor and it really doesn't matter if he is on the team or not.
  10. I wasn't talking about the child abuser. I just meant that is where I draw the line (ex. Rapistberger)
  11. I'll bet people would have thought he would have handled things differently after he already had one child die from child abuse. Stop making excuses for a child abuser. It's sickening. I didn't. I could care less about the stuff he did. However, I draw the line at child abuse and rape.
  12. What happens? Whipping a young child? It doesn't happen in my house and my boy is very well behaved. There are other ways to teach right from wrong than beating a kid. I don't get your crusade against me. Just because you don't like my views? Read this thread...most want him, others don't because they don't want to trade picks and tie up that much money...not really any mention of beating children. Yet people couldn't wait to run Marshawn out of town because he was a jerk...same thing with McGahee because he said buffalo women are fat Or something.
  13. It's funny that everybody hates lynch because he was an a**hole, yet nobody really has an issue with a child abuser.
  14. Fred Jackson is a beast and the heart and soul of this team...in case you haven't heard. I, for one, am not ready for a heart transplant. If the beast says he can go, he can go. Come on, bro...get real.
  15. It's funny that the hoyer hit was hoyer's fault, but the ej one wasn't. Did you even watch that play? Ej was lucky he didn't hurt himself more. It was a completely careless play by him and he deserved what he got. He just dangled his leg out there asking for a guy to crush him.
  16. We have Fred Jackson so why would we draft a running back high? I don't get why everyone is always trying to replace him. He is the heart and soul of this team...in case you didn't already know.
  17. I'm sure you will suspend me for this...it seems that is your favorite thing to do. Oh well, I had a great run of being off suspension for 1 day. I don't think Fred is good, everybody hates me. I change my perspective and think he is great and everybody hates me. I can't seem to win with you people. Can someone please tell me what will make you happy? I know I can't say Fred is as average as his incredibly average/below average career stats suggest because y'all will hate me for that too.
  18. We have Fred jackson. He is a beast and the heart and soul of our team. We don't need a running back.
  19. I suspect that Marrone simply black-balled him around the league. How could a young, productive, healthy receiver just all of a sudden start sucking overnight? It's not even like he had any off field issues. That was his only knock...trouble maker. But he seems to have been good this year.
  20. He probably said it so pegula wouldn't have any false hope in marrone. If we got blown out again in new England against backups, it would be pretty tough to defend/extend a coach who just lost to a 2 and 12 team. It's pretty clear that none of those guys liked marrone. I think schopp was right here.
  21. There is no chance that Mike has lost a step. His only injuries are a hammy and a minor stabbing. He is probably still in his mid-20s. His benching was 100% due to marrone's childish/girly grudge. I would like to see him back along with spiller if they can work out some incentive based contract with him (not likely). I am thinking marrone held a grudge against spiller too because of some minor mistake he made...maybe get didn't smile at him once or something.
  22. Correct. And he missed most of his 3rd year due to a hammy. Most teams don't often dish out 40 million after a good rookie year. Tampa must of thought highly of him. He was traded because they got a new coach who doesn't like off field issues.
  23. It just makes you appreciate guys like Gailey more (probably jauron too). I recall him making a very sincere statement after he was fired. The media and us fans were also very hard on him. The difference between him and Marrone is that Gailey was a man and he understood the role. Marrone was a coward and couldn't handle the shift from everyone kissing his ass in Syracuse to the nfl. Nobody should be surprised by this though. The st. Doug story from training camp gave us a glimpse into his attitude.
  24. It sucks for these players because they couldn't even stand up to this f*ck face. They saw what happened to mike. If they pissed him off, they knew he would mess with their careers. I was half kidding months ago when I said that Marrone traded for Mike just to mess with him because the score wasn't settled yet from syracuse. Now i'm thinking that may be the case. He NEVER got a chance here...from day one. This guy is really unbelievable. With all the talk about him trashing the bills to other people arounderstand the league, it would be nice to see someone from the bills FO stand up for the team instead of just taking it like a B word. Something tells me Marrone isn't done yet. What happens when the bills make an offer to the coach they want? Who do you think that person's first call will be? Also, this almost makes me want to keep spiller around another year somehow. I wonder if he was also on marrone's sh*t list. Marrone clearly wanted his rb to run into a pile every play. Since that wasn't spiller's strength, he should have used him differently. We all saw that he wasn't used properly. I bet Doug said my way or the highway with spiller too.
  25. What an !@#$. Remember when he was named nicest head coach in the country because he returned one or two phone calls while with syracuse? Ha! This guy is childish. I hope his career is over. Some team would be nuts to hire him if this stuff keeps coming out. It is pretty clear that most people did not think highly of him.
