It's early, I know, but judging by what Beane, McD, and his teammates said about him before last Sunday, and then watching his performance against the Jests, it is clear that I completely missed the boat on wanting him out of Buffalo.  I don't think players read this site but if they do, then Mr. Murphy, you have my sincere apology.

This Bills' DL is fierce, and Murphy is a significant part of that.

I have been re-watching all of last years games and Murphy was constantly in on the action.  It made me wonder why there was such a din from fans to get rid of him.

  2. Not for nuthin...

Fans always wring there hands and love when opponents have to come to Buffalo and play in OUR WEATHER.

Funny, because none of the Buffalo Bills players are actually FROM Buffalo.

One of the elements of our WEATHER is WIND - Swirling WIND.

Perhaps we could could give young Bass just a little time to become familiar with our Buffalo weather.

I have heard it spoke about that Hauschka was good in Buffalo because his kicks were low and thus not as effected by the winds in New Era Field.

Young Bass does not have such a low trajectory. Give the kid a little time before we run him out of town.

No Bills fans, no tailgate, Orchard Park Town Board announces

The reason? If there are no fans allowed in the stadium, the Erie County Department of Health will not permit any tailgate activities.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — There will be no tailgating at Bills game, according to the Orchard Park Town Board on Wednesday night.

The reason? If there are no fans allowed in the stadium, the Erie County Department of Health will not permit any tailgate activities.

That could change going forward, however, according to County Execctive Mark Poloncarz.

"If NYS allows fans to attend Bills games, tailgating will be allowed, but with restrictions to protect the public. Currently NYS does not allow attendance at any pro sports event. Thus tailgating in public and private lots will depend on whether fans can attend the games," he said in a tweet Wednesday night.

The Orchard Park Town Board announced that news during a public hearing on Wednesday night, when they aimed to decide on tailgating and whether it should be allowed to go on in private residential and commercial lots surrounding the Bills' complex in the fall.

Several local restaurants and bars had also requested permission to set up tents on their properties.

The Bills' first home game against the New York Jets is now less than a month away, on September 13.

Councilman Conor Flynn sent 2 On Your Side an email last week, noting that after hearing from residents and business people and state and county officials, he is recommending that tailgating should be allowed to go on in private residential and commercial lots surrounding the Bills complex during the upcoming season.

Councilman Gene Majchrzak last week saud he was willing to go along with tailgating for now but with a quote "short leash" to revoke any permit if there is a problem.

The dissenting note came from Supervisor Patrick Keem, who said it's estimated that the town must cover about $10,000 in police costs for every home game.

So sorry for your loss, Step!

My heart goes out to you and to Fitz.  I know my mom is probably not too long for this world.  I know there will be a change in perspective when that happens.  All of a sudden my siblings and I will be the patriarchs and matriarch of the family.

Strange thing happens, even when you are well into adulthood.  You feel like an orphan and no longer tethered to the world. ?

    26. Buffalo Bills

It's fun seeing Josh Allen throw passes to Stefon Diggs, but lots to be concerned about here: Josh Norman's already buckling as a starting CB experiment, Devin Singletary's got a fumbling problem and ... the team's website writer possibly went rogue?

Well, I guess it was Chris Brown that put us in the basement - how f'n ridiculous.

The presumed top contender, Cam Newton, said it’s not him. At least not yet.  - Every day is a work day for me. That label is not important to me right now because I know I have so much to get better at, so much that I need to learn, so much that I need to be comfortable with, and throughout this process, that’s the last thing that I’m pretty much worried about, knowing that there are certain things that when I come to the line of scrimmage and it’s just not as firing mentally as I would want it to be rather than other plays that may be called.

    Belicheat must be so pleased...

  7. Reading the Jets board they said the starting offense played against the backup defense and the starting defense played against the backup offense.

Our starters would have a lot to lose if any of them got injured so...

Our backups and rookies, however have to play their hearts out to try to earn a spot on the team.

With all that said, it wouldn't be that difficult to imagine who will fight harder.

  8. My guess is that all of you folks whining about no fans for the first 2 games, would be the very first ones to whine if they decided to let in a limited number but with very strict rules.

Then you would get your tickets and be the very first ones to break each and every rule once you were in the stadium.

THIS is why we can't have nice things!

Your whining say a lot about you.

If you simply helicoptered onto the field and went to your seats then sure.

How can you do it in narrow concourses and ramps leading to the seats themselves?

How do you do in bathrooms?

Outside the gates leading into the stadium?

The seating part isn't the issue, the issue is getting to the seating and use of the bathrooms.

At least until they get a couple of beers in them and they spot much better seating closer to the field...

Keeping some fans in their designated area will be the challenge, sadly.

It only takes a few to ruin it for the many.
