Will this even be competitive?

There was a sideline catch in that highlight clip that would have been clearly out in the NFL, is why I asked.
Is it just me, or does he look awkward to everyone?
Dawson Knox is the one that looks very awkward to me!

So, last years SB champs get the easiest schedule? 😅😂😆
Only in TB12 world.
For the love of GOD when will they let that ship sail?

More than anything I think Knox needs time in seat, as we say. He was barely targeted in college, and has only had 1 training camp in the pros. I hope he's working on his hands this offseason, whatever the TE equivalent of Jordan Palmer is
I don't know - maybe its like a "chicken or the egg" thing.
Maybe Knox can't catch because they did not throw him many balls in college...
OR
Maybe Knox can't catch SO they did not throw him many balls in college!
Actually, I am surprised Allen gives him as many chances as he has. Does Allen have to second guess throwing the ball Knox's way?

The lack of super bowl parties, might have factored in a little.
You could also imagine that in normal years, super bowl parties would see many people gathered to watch one television. The lack of super bowl parties should have predicted that those "many" are now left to watching on "many televisions" and not as groups.
I, for one, did not even tune in. In fact, I must confess, once TB won, I was glad Buffalo did not have to play against them.
I am absolutely sick to death of the "Brady thing".

I paused the game and did a screen capture on my computer.
But, I found this on google: https://www.facebook.com/DARImotion/videos/the-technology-used-to-assess-josh-allens-throwing-mechanics/3673596372678864/

I was just re-watching the Bills - Steelers game from week 14. At one point they started talking about Josh's vast improvement in passing accuracy. They showed footage of his digitalized throwing motion. I was stunned at what I saw... I added the bills logo but the red outline is his real motion. It must be some kind of sign...

If I were you, I'd stop following the team.
I'm sorry if I offended your fragile sensibilities. 🤪

Just when we have all bought into this "process" thing...
they go and work out someone who would be the worst example.
This leaves such a BAD TASTE - ugh.

The last person that I would want anywhere close to my team is someone who you could not trust his "social distancing skills".

Could Pittsburg have "overlooked" Washington? ( asking for a friend...) 😉

He's the only with multiple in a season, the others have multiple across careers.
Thank you!!

This is a pretty wild stat.
He is the FIRST QB...
But 5 QBs are " the ONLY OTHER players with multiple such games."
What am I missing here?

until we see him put together an improbable comeback against a contender like Mahomes and Wilson have done repeatedly, he does not deserve to be in that conversation.
The thing is - QBs don't play against QBs, they play against DEFENSES.
I would say the Mahomes had an advantage as he only had to beat the western NY girl scouts. 😉🤪

Knox said he purchased a Jugs Machine and practiced catching the ball all off season.
I was hoping to see some improvement. You would think...
Quote“I realized most of the issues that I had were on the easier balls,” Knox said. “Josh (Allen) would put a great ball right on my chest. I would kind of be already looking to make someone miss before I secured that. So it’s kind of just going back to the basics, training my eyes to the tuck.”
Knox’s solution to fixing the problem was working with a Jugs machine all offseason and getting together multiple times with Allen.
“I had a Jugs machine all offseason which was great. And then obviously getting together with Josh a lot helped there too, so I think I’ll be prepared and ready to go this season.”

Watch it again. He doesn't put his body into the throw. He could have thrown it 70 yards if he wanted. Amazing arm.
Announcers in the Rams game last week said that he once threw a pass for 86 yards when he was in Wyoming. (FWIW)

I thought we drafted Allen because his bazooka arm could throw the ball normally even in armageddon conditions. 🤔
Ha Ha - Arm-a-geddon - Sounds like a nick name for Josh Allen IF he gets REALLY GREAT. 😉

FATIGUE!
At least I'm hoping this is the case. No pre-season and who knows how much guys could do on the off-season. Hopefully they get their legs back in a couple more weeks But, I thought the defense looked like last year for the first 2.5 quarters. I predicted/called the Rams interception before it happened based on how difficult the Bills were making in on the Rams to even gain 3-4 yards early on. Regardless, run-D seems to be the weak point of our team... however so long as they can be serviceable then our coaching, blitz schemes, and secondary can cause some legit problems for other teams, especially with our offense keeping the pedal down.
AGREE!
I just re-watched the game (still hard to watch due to the fantom interception) and half way through the 3rd quarter, our D was gassed! Even the announcers (ugh) mentioned it the cameras showed them sweating like mad, hands on hips.
I don't think it would have been as bad if the Rams did not get an infusion of Adrenalin courtesy of the Officials.
Thank you Josh Allen with a "fire in your heart and ice in your veins"!

I'm a little concerned myself.
Bills-Rams is being televised in St Louis so I can watch it on regular TV, but that's a change from the first 2 games.
Thoughts?
For left over fans of St Louis Rams?

Thank You, Virgil. As always, a great job!
A few more thoughts from my view:
- Levi Wallace had one of those games he will have. I hope Josh Norman is able to get back soon, to at least see if he's an improvement.
- I think it's time to feature Singletary more.
- Question: When our LBs heal, will Dobson stay in the line-up? It seems to me he is a much more athletic option than Klein?
- How can you not like Fitz, the ultimate gamer. And he seems to have his best days against the Bills.
- I, like most on this board, want Knox to succeed. His reception for 37 yards and fumble all in on the same play epitomizes his young career. Something tells me Reggie Gilliam is going to get his chance if Knox can't go for a few weeks---is he the right mix of Lee's blocking ability and Knox's athleticism? I hope. But too early to give up on Knox.
- The thing I most love about J Allen's game yesterday, only one called run. Has he truly become a dual threat? If so, pick your poison opposing D coordinators.
- MVP of the game: The Bills Mafia guys who were FaceBook Live-ing the game during the blackout. Someone find out who they were and do a GoFundMe to cover their game and travel expenses. On second thought, the Bills should take care of these guys. They were great and represented what this fan base is all about.
The Bills Win! Happy Monday, BillsMafia! And try to get some work done for your boss today.
This is something I can not get off my mind. I hoped that Knox worked on his catches/fumbles in the offseason. But I think Josh will lose confidence quickly (if he has not already). Gilliam's catch today made me think that Knox may end up being a "blocking" tight end.
I know - too early, yada-yada.
