Trump 2024?
The Frankish Reich replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Leave aside for a moment the Nazi stuff, and the histrionics of the SPLC. Posobiec was the leading publicizer of the batshit bonkers Pizzagate conspiracy. Has he ever disavowed that or otherwise explained why he would have promoted such nonsense? If there is a reasonable explanation (and I can't imagine one, but obviously my imagination is not as vivid as Pizzagate Jack's), I haven't heard it. Unless and until we do, there is no reason for anyone to repost his tweets. -
Trump 2024?

https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/14/politics/kfile-gop-nominee-north-carolina-public-schools-michele-morrow-executing-democrats/index.html Example: Anyone NOT afraid of engaging on the facts would respond to why this nut - and official GOP nominee for state-wide office - shouldn't be considered a QAnon adherent. Morrow also promoted QAnon slogans and tweeted that the actor Jim Carrey was “… likely searching for adrenochrome” – a reference to a conspiracy theory shared by QAnon believers that celebrities harvest and drink the blood of children to prolong their own lives. Media Matters, a left-leaning publication, was first to report the QAnon tweets. All together, Morrow tweeted “WWG1WGA” – the slogan that stands for “where we go one, we go all” and is commonly associated with the QAnon conspiracy – more than seven times in 2020. -

This is what I'm talking about. Yes, I HAVE found more evidence of QAnon adherents in the social media feeds favored by some people here. Not to mention in some of the candidates for office. If it isn't QAnon, you tell me what explains some of the bizarro beliefs I've pointed out here. But it's easier to post and run under the guise of "ignoring" your critics. Another nonsensical post by an aging lab tech. -

I'm not aware of any of the leftist posters putting everyone on the other side on "ignore." That's a difference, at least in my book. It says "I'm going to use this forum to spout off about whatever I don't like, and I won't even listen to any criticism - rational or otherwise - of what I just posted." -

I'm not exonerating posters coming from the left. Many times it's the same thoughtless approach: amplify the talking point. There is a difference though (at least here), in that the rightist posters (not you, but some of them) really don't even care when the talking point isn't supported by the "source" they're ostensibly based on. -

You have to understand that this is all they do. They get bombarded on their Twitter feeds by algorithm-selected talking points from one little corner of social media. They then "share" those shallow thoughts here. Many times I've pointed out that the underlying article fails to support the tweet's point. They don't care. Because the point is complaining about everything in America. Once you understand that, you understand them. -
That's what a scientist would call anecdata. As opposed to actual Data: https://academic.oup.com/jid/article/189/Supplement_1/S1/820569 Measles wasn't particularly deadly on a per-infection basis, but about 1 death per 1,000 cases ain't nuthin. Even with the much lower population of your youth that amounted to about 450 deaths in the immediate pre-vaccine years. And there were health impacts beyond measles itself, making it a drain on health care resources.

Hamburg Brats Stage Walkout

Plus you need to save money for this, Wacka. https://www.wsj.com/us-news/burger-water-tower-tourism-hamburg-new-york-9a61673a -
Thank you for posting something that has precisely nothing to do with the topic.

The American Media Should Not Be Trusted

Eric Carmen supported Trump? Who knew? I will have to continue to avoid ever listening to All By Myself except in drunken karaoke "worst song ever" competitions. -

As well they should, given what came of people who called themselves Marxists, many of whom bear little in common with Marx's own ideas. Marx was a great thinker (to my mind, a bad economist but an unusually insightful social commentator and critic) and he did have a way with words. -
Our stupid politics. 1. This confused me: Renewed efforts by Congress to force TikTok to sell or face a ban in the US have the backing of the White House, even as President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign has started to use the platform to reach younger voters. I’m confused. If using Tiktok endangers national security, then why is Biden using TikTok? I get that his specific tweets don’t endanger security, but doesn’t his use make TikTok more popular? 2. I’m confused. Why would Trump try to ban TikTok in 2020, and then suddenly support TikTok after meeting a GOP investor who own’s $21 billion worth of TikTok, right after losing some legal cases that threaten to bankrupt him? That's from economist Scott Sumner at themoneyillusion.com.

State of the Union Address 2024.
The Frankish Reich replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Well, you should start doing your own research. Did you know that Putin intercepted a shipment of adrenochrome headed from Ukraine to the USA? (And then presumably straight to Hollywood?) It's all there on the internet. Yet you choose to believe the MSM. Fool. -

I have a new conspiracy theory. Or a new wrinkle on an old one. Under the old one, satanic people kept basements full of terrorized children because those kids produced the purest adrenochrome to harvest. Under my new wrinkle, the continued bombing of Gaza has created the most abundant source of terrorized children we've seen in a long time. In other words, the real reason Israel continues this campaign. And I think George Soros (hint, hint) may be behind it. Adrenochrome for everyone! -

Don't knock it till you've tried it. It's good sh!t. A temporary tizzy is a known side effect, but it's worth taking that hit. It does suck. I'm also a resident of what is know a solid blue state, and I am well aware that my vote in the Presidential election will have zero impact. And therefore neither candidate has any interest in tailoring their messages to appeal to me or the many, many people like me - basically what used to be called "centrists." -

The point: any "cartoonist" using adrenochrome as an example of a nootropic is a cartoonist steeped in the muck of QAnon. Any PPP poster trawling social media who stumbles across an "adrenochrome" joke is a PPP poster fishing in those same fetid waters. -
10 pages in about an hour for a D-level signing? We are not winning this off-season.

Sure, his best days are behind him. But I loved watching the Poyer-Hyde team these last few years. I'm gonna miss it.

The Frankish Reich replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Looky, looky ... B-Man is still prowling around the remnants of QAnon world. See the strange reference to "Adrenochrome" in that little funny? Now where have I heard about that "no known medical use" substance before? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrenochrome Adrenochrome is a subject of several far right conspiracy theories, such as QAnon and Pizzagate,[19][20][21] with the chemical helping the theories play a similar role to earlier blood libel and Satanic ritual abuse stories.[22] The theories commonly state that a cabal of Satanists rape and murder children, and "harvest" adrenochrome from their victims' blood as a drug[23][24] or as an elixir of youth.[25] In reality, adrenochrome is synthesized by biotechnology companies, solely for research purposes, and has no medical uses. -

Ken Buck pulls off the Colorado Screwjob on Lauren Boebert. Way too complicated to explain here, but if you want to know more than you ever wanted to know: https://www.coloradopols.com/diary/199235/breaking-ken-buck-to-resign-from-congress-and-drop-anvil-on-lauren-boebert#comment-755155 Buck obviously can't stand Boebert, and he's now called her bluff of changing congressional districts to try to save her job.
