  1. -We will have a couple chances to go deep, especially on play action. We’ve all seen Gilmore get beat deep.

-Roll josh out and either run or short pass over pursuit.

-probably won’t be many passes in the middle for us. Linebackers will clog the middle. Work the outside. Double moves on Gilmore.

-they wont blitz a lot but their 4 man rush will be trying to contain Josh to the pocket and force him to throw or get sacked. Collins will come on delayed blitzes , pass to TE or go deep as the safety will come down.

-Hit Tom Brady hard, just take a penalty or something but he has to feel it.

-STOP THE RUN AT ALL COST. These guys always have timely 10-15 yard runs against us

How much would the line shift in that case if we knew that at the beginning of the week?

Pat's only 3 point favs?  Less?

Edelman not playing is a big deal for that offense based on history.

It doesn’t even matter who they have or don’t have. If we don’t play great defense they will whoop the dog crap out of us. What matters is how well our defense plays and our execution on offense. Squeeze the damn ball offense. One turn over could kill us.

    4th Quarter.

    Down by 3.

3 minutes left in the game.

    Pressure in the situation.

    Pressure from the DL:

2 plays later, because of ANOTHER scramble by Allen on a drive where he would account for all but the final yard, Gore punches it in for a 1 yard game winning TD.

If we ever lose this guy to another team or something.. this is exactly the kind of stuff we will all be posting just to remind each other what we had. Dude is a special talent, these types of things are almost routine and expected. We are in a great spot at QB.

I never said the ball was nearly intercepted. I said it was a very high risk for low reward play that the defender... IF... he jumped the route, could have intercepted it and ran it back for 6. It’s really that simple.

But the same same people that want to argue with me on this want to argue that Knox hadn’t made his cut yet and wasn’t yet open. As if that actually matters. Quarterbacks throw to a spot all the time before a receiver makes their cut or is even looking for the ball. And if Allen throws it deep to Knox in a space where he SHOULD know where Knox will be, then it’s a huge gain. Not a small gain for 4 yards.

Ironically, the same people that argue that since Allen barely got it into a tight window, how would he be able to get it deep to Knox, should know that a loftier pass over the top of Knox’s head would be an easier throw than the same one they argue for being such a good throw because it had such velocity on It. Oddly, if it there was such a worry that he barely was able to get the ball to Beasley, there should have been a worry that it could have been intercepted had the defender made a play on the ball.

I really am done talking about this at this point. If people can’t see that it was a risky play for low reward, I really don’t feel like explaining my position anymore.

I know I know he is also 4-0 in his last 4 games against us, HOWEVER, for that to be Brady's stat line against the Bills since McDermott took over, MEANS SOMETHING!

    https://www.bostonherald.com/2019/09/25/tom-brady-expects-challenge-from-mistake-free-buffalo-bills-defense/

What exactly? It means we are getting closer to cracking the code! YES Brady is old as ? and NO we have no chance to even get close to making our overall record against that bastard respectable but dammit NOW IS THE TIME TO PUT IT ALL TOGETHER!!

We've had 3 games to work out kinks and I'm certain Daboll has held back plays just for this game. I think Sunday is when we finally put it all together. One thing Josh has showed is he plays BETTER under pressure, and this game here, both teams 3-0, everyone in the media and even most Bills fans doubting a win, it being no secret how Tom has dominated us at home, IS PRESSURE!!!

I expect to see Josh play the best game of his career Sunday, and when that happens, I will bump this thread and toot my own horn.

So anyway I got excited and went off on a tangent. What do you all think about such putrid numbers from old Tom these last 4 games? Any reason you see for him to fair any better tomorrow???

I also want to say that I hope that Tom Brady does not get his fingers stuck in a blender while making a kale smoothie. That would be bad to wish for...

Ever since our week 15  win over the Lions... the game where he seemed to finally minimize the turnovers and gain confidence...

Josh Allen is 8-1 as a starter (including pre season)...

    his only loss?

AT New England in a game they needed to win to get a home game in the playoffs - in that game BOTH HIM AND Tom Brady threw 1 TD and 2 INT, however Allen out threw him 217 yards vs 126 yards.

Now that we are playing at home, and Josh has made major strides as a QB, I truly believe the era of going 0-2 to the Pats is over

  7. It looks like we play a lot of cover 2 man under. Cover 3 and cover 4 also. Not a lot of blitzing, i think mcD and Frazier would rather have more in coverage for the chance of a turnover. Our linebackers are fast enough to track underneath stuff and the whole team is pretty good at tackling. No sense betting the farm on a blitz when we can just play defense and win the series. It’s the same type of deal as people who are PO’d that Josh Allen hasn’t thrown for 300 yards yet, who cares? Scoreboard☝?

Not surprising these idiot fans think the 56-3 prediction was serious.  You should have seen some of the things they were saying to defend Brown on that board.  Scummiest bunch of scum that ever did scum.

The fumble along the sideline was a bad play and we were very lucky not to turn the ball over.

    The INT was beyond horrible.

Missed a wide open Zay Jones for an easy TD.

Made some nice throws; made some tough runs.

A mix of good, great, bad, and really bad.  As usual.

    Josh Allen vs. Bengals:

      289 total yards 1 tds 1 int.

      passing 23/36 243yds. 1td 1int

      rushing 9/46 5.1 ypc

    Most important stat: buffalo 3-0

looks like a fine day to me. I’ll take that interception  once in a while because his positives overwhelmingly outweigh his negatives.

I was relieved to beat another bad team and it's better to be 3-0 than not.

But I see things for what they actually are and I'll be happy when the Bills are legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

Until then I'm not going to hand out free cotton candy and puppies and fart rainbows.

But you guys are certainly welcome to do that if that's your jam.

Gase could have the greatest offensive schemes known to man (Newsflash - he doesn't) and he would still be a bad Head Coach because he doesn't have the personality required for the job. I said it about him within about 4 weeks of seeing him in his first HC gig in Miami. I maintained it even when they had the slightly flukey playoff season, and when his tenure went south and it applies just the same now. I still don't quite know what sort of hiring process the Jets could have run to end up saying "yea, this is our guy." There are at least half a dozen coordinators out there working in the NFL who I would have hired before him without even getting into other retreads or college coaches.
