Deshaun Watson. Please and thanks.
Hmm you forgot Deshaun Watson’s record. His team is 4-3, I’ll take Josh Allen. You’re welcome.

Yeah that’s a bit of an exaggeration, though he did miss Andre Roberts by a mileVery true but this really feels like the writer hasn’t watched any bills games this year let alone this one. It’s like he just vomited every criticism he’s heard for Josh Allen onto his computer

I’d like to know which qb these negative Nancy’s would rather have on this team and you can’t say brady or Rogers? Also put their current 2019 regular season record after their name

IIRC, Allen was something like 4 of 10 for 90 yards in the first half. I doubt his QBR was anything to write home about over those 30 minutes.
The whole point of that NFL.com post is that Allen is inconsistent, but comes up big at the end. Same thing this board says all the time...
He consistently wins Lurker. What was his QBR in the second half? The guy missed a couple deep passes, and a couple drops were made. He’s the best QB we’ve had in many years. My point is that he is consistent and he is in his second year. Completion percentage, red zone TD percentage up with rushing attempts and yards rushing... both down. If you can’t handle a few mistakes by a second year QB who has us at 5-1 and who has vastly improved his play then how are you a bills fan. Don’t you remember the pain we’ve all had to endure?? SMDH

There is some hyperbole in my post. He was terrible in the first half. While completion percentage was good. I’m less than impressed with a QB who throws for about 100 yards in the second half, playing from behind. Let’s not forget, this Dolphins team is trending towards being one of the worst team in football history. Like I said, I think Josh has both poor ball placement and touch and that was on display today.
JA was barely good enough today. Tre and Hyde bailed us out today on what very easily could have been a close loss to a very bad football team.
I think you meant to say the defense was barely good enough today. Josh Allen wasn’t the one who couldn’t stop the great Fitzmagic

Actually, he's not.
62% isn't that great anymore. In fact, it would put him about 25th at the moment among active NFL quarterbacks.

Please pound this guys twitter. First time I ever heard of him. He must not have watched more than the highlights

Don’t get the hate on this.
Josh is hitting more receivers but still has difficulty with placement, and his touch is pretty bad.
Josh had an overall terrible day today. That tweet had a little too much snark, but it didn’t sound too far off base from what I have seen out of him.
Sure thing dude, 111 qbr sucks
Just now, Lurker said:What's innaccurate about that take today? Allen's game IS unpredictable, which is the gist of what the guy is saying...
IDK about that. I can predict wins

I’ll take his wins and 62% vs whoever has a better completion percentage then. How about that Nextmanup? I’ll wait for your annoying response...

We don’t need him or his salary at this point. Trade bait for something of need maybe?

62.4% at 7.0 YPA.
For those keeping track.
4th game was a massive regression. Allen just looked rattled the entire game.
Big bounce back against the Titans. Other than the horrible Interception he was really good.
Weird game against Miami but Allen is showing he's pretty clutch late in the game.F Grant Gordon from nfl.com

1. “Sixty minutes of Josh Allen playing football is an adventure. With a rarely accurate rocket for an arm that could dial up an in-stride receiver as easily as an unsuspecting fan in the first row, Allen struggled early before leading a full-speed comeback that resulted in the Bills avoiding an embarrassing loss with a 31-21 victory over the winless Dolphins on Sunday. Buffalo, off to a 5-1 opening for the first time since 2008, scored on each of its first three drives, but they were all Stephen Hauschka field goals. Often missing by a mile with touchless throws, Allen continued to play the only way he seemingly knows how: rearing back and throwing his hardest, running with no fear and ultimately playing with reckless abandon. Two touchdowns, a two-point rush, 202 yards passing and a 111.4 QB rating stood as Allen's final tally. But it's the fearless way in which Allen plays that makes every outing an adventure and has made him a leader of a promising Buffalo team.”

Eat one Grant. Josh was 62% today with 2tds and no int’s!
I’m so sick of people not watching the games and making up some B.S. to fit their perception of “the narrative”.
He’s about as accurate as anyone, sorry Grant Gordon... whoever the hell you are.

This seems like a total message to Zay for not turning into a defensive back on those picks. Duke will rip a fools arms of for the ball.

Before we played the patriots number one ranked defense, Josh Allen had thrown one interception that could be attributed to him. We are 3-1 right now and Josh Allen is the major factor in that. Does he have to stop fumbling? Yes. Did he miss a couple reads against the Patriots? Yes. Did Tom Brady have a crappy game? Yes. I’m backing him 100% based on what he has already done. Turnovers and all.
I’m really going to enjoy being a face in the crowd of fans calling all of you out when you don’t have a choice but to jump on the bandwagon. -

Playing against who many considered the best defense in the NFL, scored the only touchdown against New England this year and looked to be driving for the win late in the 4th until he was taken out with a cheap shot. Dabol did him a disservice by not running the football more. Gore was running very well and they should've fed the Pats a lot of two and three tight end sets. With Knox and Sweeney, we could have easily set up some very nice play action seam routes. Dabol's play calling is absolutely terrible at times. That is holding Allen back more than anything at this point.
This is key, most of us fans would agree. Though most of our loss goes on Allen, the offensive strategy could have been tweaked by Dabol. Definitely should have run more. Live and learn for a fledgling offense.

Let me be clear .. he played bad yesterday .. that said .. lost faith .. ABSOLUTELY NOT
There are way too many positives than negatives with Josh.
He has one glaring mental weakness ... he can't throw the ball away .. he tries to extend plays too far, takes hits he shouldn't and then heaves a jump ball in play.
Though I'm not a fan of the new back footed throwing technique he showed yesterday repeatedly .. last year (after mid year) he hung in the pocket more ... not seeing that this year.
That said ... net of a blocked punt (not Josh's fault) and to play as bad as he did and be that close .. the team is vastly improved and Josh is a part of that.
3-1 ... equates to 12-4 if same performance
Agree 100% we are going to win a lot more than we lose with Josh. That matters most. I have full confidence he will learn from these mistakes, I also have full confidence he will make more. The other thing I have full confidence in is that we are a very good TEAM with him and would not be without him.
He is our franchise QB we have been waiting for. All the haters are going to eat crow when it’s all said and done.- 1

Bills D is legit! Top 3 in the league and kept the Bills in this game to the end.
Pats D is also legit and IMO won the game for the Patriots with the 5 picks.
all and all Bills fans should be optimistic for the future and I hope the Bills stay focused and don’t have a down game next week against a pretty good Titans team.
Thanks man! It’s great to hear some good sportsmanship from a rival. Now go eat S#*t. And F Tom Brady straight to hell.

Because we are 3-1. Could peterman ever say that? I can’t believe that someone could say that and act like Josh Allen wasn’t instrumental in the wins we have had.
-
I think we would have won with Allen in. Unlike the first game, these interceptions were on him. We turned it over four times and they won by 6 pts. We missed a field go and didn’t attempt a gimme. Against the best team in the league we made mistakes and still had a punchers chance at the end. This game should give them confidence and Allen needs to know that he can win By just playing the game without attempting the impossible.

My point is that winning has a lot to do with the quarterback position and I’d still take josh.. but give me Watson’s receivers
