  1. I hope we draft 3 linemen, 3 WR and a corner. The spend some money in free agency on all the above. I don’t think we should over pay but their is merit to the presumption that they don’t want to come here IMO. I wish we’d spend every penny we had on those 3 position groups. IMHO the only safe player should be Tre White between our linemen our receivers and our corners all are expendable.

Too many people are getting carried away with how much McCoy will bring in a deal with the Eagles. It's not going to be very high, possibly a fourth or so. If the Bills could get a third round from them I would make the deal. The Eagles have two second round picks so losing a third round pick would not be a major loss.

I could see that happening for sure

Stop.  The only reason for the Eagles to trade for McCoy is to make another Super Bowl Run this year.  They certainly aren’t going to give up a starting WR or lineman for him.  I very much doubt they would give up a 2d or 3d round pick for McCoy, either, but if they are desperate, who knows.

I agree but starting for US is not necessarily starting for them...

I just dont get it. You have a raw QB who has problems with recognition, why wouldnt you get to the line so the D has to show their alignment and Daboll then has 10 or 12 seconds to talk through it with Allen? It did wonders for Goff. I mean he literally showed everyone how to do it with a young QB but nobody seems to follow suit.

Agreed, we need to simplify verbiage so we can get to the line in a hurry up offense and make adjustments. I don’t think Allen is there yet and I obviously don’t think our o-line is capable of making good calls at the point of attack. With our below average skill positions WE NEED TO GIVE DEFENSES MUCH LESS TIME TO ADJUST TO US. Find a way to hurry up and keep them on there toes that way.

That said, if Mahomes was playing here in our offense, he wouldn't be doing what he is doing.  He has the best weapons in the NFL around him with one of the best offensive minds of all time.  We have the worst set of skilled position talent, on top of a brutal o-line, perhaps in the history of the NFL.

Agreed, Andy Reid knows how to make it happen. They could have Josh Allen and we could have Mahomes and I believe we’d be having this same conversation if the QB’s were switched.

Maybe you don't like watching this team be a dumpster fire... truth is I don't like WATCHING it either. At the end of it though, I know its for the better.  Next season they ought to have a really good draft and pick up some FA's as well.

I agree but I feel like our cap will be blown on former panthers/eagles instead of the best free agents available (Star L. for example). Also, Carolina has had horrible wide receivers and I don’t feel like this regime has the ability to judge wide receiver talent.  In fact I have zero confidence in that.  I hope and pray that they prove me wrong but at this point I feel like we need only to look at upcoming FA’s from Carolina to figure out who we will get. I think we have a good coach and horrible talent evaluation as a whole.

    All valid points and concerns.

So what do you make out of all that?

Deliberate tank season from the Bills?  Just standard incompetence?

I don’t think it’s a deliberate tank but I do think that the goal on their part must be along the lines of:

    1. How much salary can we get off the books?

    2. What can we get through this year with at the bare minimum without having a fan mutiny or a player mutiny?

The big problem with this is that it feels like a tank to a lot of us. Even if they don’t think about it in those terms. The other issue i have is that these decisions don’t do much in the way of protecting their future investments or making them better

  8. The thing most concerning thing to me about how our roster is being handled is that we have known we were down 3 o-linemen months and months ago. We knew we had basically table scraps at wide receiver months and months ago.

We did nothing about that?! Not only did we do nothing but we draft a quarterback to sit behind an “experienced vet” so he wouldn’t have to eat from a  straw after his rookie year. McDamnit then proceeds to TRADE THE VET and make our rookie literally take their lumps and be held accountable for their lack of action.

Now our rookie has less than starters being trusted to keep him upright and at a point when we had table scraps at wide receiver already we throw away Kerley. He isn’t even a “really good” receiver but he was starting caliber for us.

  9. McDamnit is quickly showing that they really struggle to evaluate our own talent in the off season. These personel decisions are looking like they are just doing the exact opposite of what they should. Watch, the next thing they’ll do is cut Allen and Edwards to sign Derek Anderson and whoever keukley’s backup is...

i was all in with these two until this off season and now I think that we fire bean after the season so we can hire someone with a brain in their head to spend our 90 million dollars on talented players.

we need to replace 4 of 5 offensive linemen, we need to get about 3 receivers. 1 good outside corner. 1 good pass rusher. However, it seems like we will probably take 2safeties, a running back, a punter, a QB and the rest of the picks DT.

  10. As far with bringing in former panthers, I’d say they are 0 for 4 (Star and Kelvin don’t want to be here and don’t produce. Bowling ball (Tolbert) and Philly Brown had failure to launch).

Basically we are getting rid of some talented players and getting junk back plus more former panthers. I thought Rex was bad...sheesh.

Just Incase anyone in the building reads this we need:

    - 2 guards

    - 1 center

    - 2 or 3 WR’s who are fast and fight to get open

    - anyone who can rush the passer

    - a starting cornerback who is faster and younger than Davis.

McBean is probably safe but that does not mean that some of these deals (Stars Contract is terrible). He’s about one more former Panther away from hot seat

This guy looks slow, does not make plays for his QB, has compete, and focus issues.

No way I sign him to a big deal.

I could not agree more. We need some real receivers around here.

We need receivers with some “dog” in them. some attitude and passion. Not Dez though, more like Robert woods type of effort level.

  12. Teller must be in the doghouse with someone because he looked dominant agoain today against the second team. I realize it’s not the starters and that’s a different ballgame but could the guards have played any worse if Teller was with the ones? I really hope they end up starting him, he’s got that mean streak that you want to see.
