  1. 9-7. Sorry folks. Our division is very difficult this year. I just don't see 11 wins... Though nothing would make me happier.
  2. Wow... Luck just cannot find an open receiver and has no time to throw. Jets secondary is nasty it seems. Hard to beat a shut-down secondary and strong pressure up front. I hate to say it but the Jets are impressive.
  3. I'm not saying Fitz is Brady.... but he is making some quick decisions back there. Decker and Marshall are solid. Atta boy Fitz. The Jets will be tough this year. Yeah I said it.
  4. That's a great question. He's like a soccer goalie that guesses correctly on every penalty shot. It's almost as if he has access to our........ Nah....
  5. I agree. BB does deserve credit. What surprised me most was how well they kept our front four at bay. They made their rookie O-Line look like a bunch of pro-bowlers. BB has this ability to plug any no-name person in, and somehow the Bills make them look like stars. I was disappointed in Rex's defensive gameplan, or maybe failure to adjust to BB's. How we got no pressure up the gut is beyond my comprehension. For Marcel to say Brady was getting it out too quickly, and there was "nothing he could do," was a cop-out (but this is a different topic).
  6. I agree it's not a long term solution, but there were many times in the game today that instead of bopping around the pocket, he could've taken off for 20 yards. It may have at least given him more confidence while making the Pats respect his running threat. Instead he took 7-8 sacks. I'll still keep the faith in him... but he will have to improve his decision making. (And I'm not taking anything away from his touchdowns -- I thought he really clawed back well in the 2nd half.)
  7. I like the optimism, and I love the fight TT had late in the game, but seriously, he was awful in the first half. Very indecisive, and waited too long. If our plan was to get the ball out of his hands quickly (like Brady), we failed. Hopefully he will learn a ton from this game and come back stronger. He was definitely rattled when they blitzed. I wish he would've taken off and run more. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and put the blame more on the coaches and their gameplay (or lack thereof).
  8. My biggest issue with Tyrod is that he wants to (or maybe the Bills want him to be) a "quarterback that can run." As a result, he was staying in the pocket way too long and taking sacks. He is no Tom Brady. He will not be beating teams with his arm. Maybe we have to allow Tyrod to just be the athlete that he is... and run the ball! He is the fastest QB in the league. Let's let him be a running quarterback. I feel that he missed many opportunities to take off and run while he was trying to make something happen with his arm. How about some designed QB runs too? Maybe it's more of a coaching issue.. Once BB decided to make TT beat him with his arm, we should've combatted by adjusting to let TT run loose. My opinion at least.
  9. I wonder if they'd rather have Cassell? They need a QB now.
  10. We're not connecting here. To be very clear: we didn't lose simply because of pregame talk. We lost because we were not prepared today, and we were incredibly undisciplined. I do believe we were the more talented team, and I believe we could've won. That falls on the coach. Thus Rex did not back up the pregame talk. And read my previous posts... I have absolutely focused on mistakes made on the playing field and with the coaching staff. From the start, all I said was this "shut your mouth next time, Rex." (As in, get your team ready next time.. Get them disciplined... And let your actions do the taking.)
  11. Again, my frustration comes from not backing up the talking.. There's nothing weak about that complaint. We were not prepared for a huge game. We have been incredibly undisciplined in the last two games. Some might blame AW (and yes, I hope he is ok)... But I blame Rex for not having his guys playing disciplined ball. How many personal fouls does Belichick's team take? I was expecting more from the team and more from Rex. I thought we were more ready to play. I'm not attacking simply the pre-game statements. I'm attacking the talk not being backed up. We hung in. It was a strong effort at the end... But too little, too late. We ultimately weren't ready to play ball today. This loss hurt, plain and simple. I'm hoping Rex pulls the guys together and gets everyone on the same page.
  12. I agree with you that the talking didn't have any bearing on what happened on the field. I'm just disappointed that we couldn't back up the talk. Rex claimed to have us ready. We were not ready on any side of the ball. I'm a believer that the coach has to take the fall. Rex did some talking. He let the team do some talking. The media was all over it. It's not a coincidence that the media follows Rex around. So be it. But we couldn't back it up. We made huge mistakes. We were undisciplined. To me, that falls on Rex. Maybe I'm the minority here.
  13. Yep, that's the only remedy for this loss.... Go down south and beat the crap out of Miami!
  14. Nah.. Not trying to kick anyone while they're down, my friend. I'm p!ssed like the rest of us. I'm pretty sick of the Pats continuously embarrassing this team and city. I think we were either unprepared for this game, or just not good enough. I think it's the former. The penalties were inexcusable (esp silly the personal fouls). The fact that our defense gave up 40 was inexcusable. The fact that TT was sacked (how many times) was inexcusable. Happy we fought back. Love to see it and I hope that is a great sign for times to come. I love the team. Go Bills. I love the swagger. But we are still an average team until we can win big games. Talent-wise, we can run with the best of them. I was hoping Rex had us ready. He didn't.
  15. Hahahahahahah! I'll give you credit on the response. Not out to fight with fellow Bills fans. Look man... I'm a diehard Bills fan who has been through this way too long (probably like yourself). The bIlls organization did everything possible to aid in the media buildup of this game. Plain and simple, we were embarrassed in our house, again. Right? Rex was supposed to have had a gameplan completed months ago for this game. We were ridiculously undisciplined, for the second game in a row. The best part of our team (D Line) was neutered all game. We talked, but weren't ready at the end of the day to take on the champs. And with the Guinness book of world records at our stadium, they beat us more than what the score indicated. I love the Bills, but I'm worried that this could be a morale killer. Let's see how they respond.
  16. Absolutely not. A win is a win. No excuses. But the reality here is that the players, coaches, and fans talked crap and hyped up this game, only to watch Brady come in and put up 40 points on us. We did all the talking... We played an undisciplined game. We were unprepared on both sides of the ball. And we were knocked right down to size. My problem isn't the loss. My problem is that we got cocky before getting embarrassed. Anyone care to challenge that?
  17. Watch your tongue, junior. Rex did not have this team ready to play. We fought back but ultimately got embarrassed by B & B... Again. So like I said... Keep your mouth shut next time, Rex. We aren't champs until we beat the champs.
  18. Hate to say it, but Watkins needs to make that catch. Someone of his caliber has to get the tough job done.
  19. Come on D Line--- kill Brady!!!! These rookies are owning us on the line. Really upset with either D Line's effort, or Rex's plan.. Or both.
  20. Just throwing this out there.... Tyrod doesn't want to be a "running quarterback." He wants to be a "quarterback who can run." Maybe it's time to realize that we have the fastest QB in the NFL... And maybe he's not the greatest passer... So how about some designed QB running plays????? I feel like we could've had some great chances that were missed because they insist on making TT a throwing QB.
  21. Correct, but our O-Line is getting owned by Pats D Line. This shouldn't happen. Miami has a real D Line.
  22. Legitimate concern, and someone talk me off the ledge here: We have too much firepower on offense to watch it be p1ssed away by a crappy QB and O-Line. How long before Sammy, Percy, Clay, Woods, McCoy start complaining? This team will self implode.
  23. Taylor- throw the ball away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You jerk.
